Clothing and style: Of course, Kyouya wears the standard uniform of Ouran Academy, perfectly tailored. When he's not in school uniform, he prefers dark jeans and button-down shirts, equally impressively tailored. It takes quite a bit of money to make this casual look this good.

Overall Personality
A heavily-guarded mask of perfect politeness hides Kyouya's double-sided personality. With anyone he doesn't know well, he is the epitome of a gentleman, calm, attentive, persuasive, but distant. With people he does know well, he's willing to relax just a little, and tease, manipulate, or let his "evil" side show through. Very rarely he'll let them catch a glance at the soft side deeply hidden underneath.
Likes: Staying three steps ahead of everyone else. The Host Club, both as a business venture and as his friends. Finance and business. Tamaki's piano playing. Anything spicy, preferably ginger.
Dislikes: Being woken up early, where early is defined as "any time before 10am". Sweets. Frivolous girls. (Sensible girls are another matter.)
Strengths: Planning, finances, extensive people-skills and networking, photography and layout skills. Intelligent and blessed with a reasonable amount of common sense.
Weaknesses: Prefers to avoid physical exertion; generally not a sports-type. Prefers to avoid anything he doesn't excel at rather than visibly fail. And Tamaki, though he'll never admit it.
Fears: Disappointing his father. Failing to excel at anything he puts his mind to. Letting anyone get too close, and yet, on the other hand, also fearing losing those few people he's actually let get that close.
Strange gestures and obsessions: Readjusting his glasses, particularly when making a point. Using the light off the glasses to deliberately hide his expression. Constantly writing? or is it drawing? no one knows for sure -- in his black notebook. Obsessed with outdoing his brothers, and his father too, if possible. Completely enraged if woken up on a weekend earlier than his natural wakeup time.
Social Life
Family History: The Ootori family is a long and storied family, with ties back to a ducal lineage. In the modern era, they run a medical zaibatsu. Kyouya's father, Yoshio Ootori, is the head of the zaibatsu, and Kyouya is unquestionably a chip off the old block in many, many ways. His mother is largely absent from the home, busy with her career as an ambassador. His brother Yuuichi is pursuing his medical residency, his brother Akito is deeply involved in studying for his MBA, and his sister Fuyumi is recently married.
Personal History: The third son of the Ootori family, Kyouya has stood in his brothers' shadows since he was born. He has compensated for this by overachieving at everything, particularly business. His relationship with his father is strained, and his mother is distant. The only one in his family that he is close to is his sister, Fuyumi. Believing himself to be trapped by circumstance, it is only after he meets Tamaki Suoh that he begins to break out of the mold the family has put him in, and gain real friends and learn to be himself.
Hobbies: Free time? What's that? Between the day-to-day management of the club's expenses and ordering, planning the club's events, auctioning off souvenirs, editing the club's photo books, and handling his own finances, Kyouya barely has enough time to finish his homework and sleep.
Special Skills: Although gifted with people skills, Kyouya himself is difficult to read. While he generally limits his activities to things he excels at, he is extremely good at those things. These include, but are not limited to, school studies, business affairs, all sorts of planning and manipulation, and being in the know on just about everything. He is substantially less skilled at, but still very competent at ballroom dance. He has enough knowledge to teach very basic figure skating and can cook well enough to avoid starvation on his own.
Primary School, Middle School, and Extra-School Activities: Ouran Elementary and Ouran Middle School. Kyouya has been here the whole time, which means that he knows almost all of the other students, faculty, and staff very, very well.
