New Areas Come up with a description for a new location. Winners will have their work turned into a thread. -Need at least 1 large image (around 800x500. Just make sure it doesn't become a page stretcher). Images are also provided. See 2nd page. -Maximum of 5 images per thread. -Descriptions need to be at least 400 words long -Must fit the world of the Multiverse: Fantasy setting, steampunk level technology fueled by magic.

Libera Ruins and New Libera
Main Race: Animatic Secondary Race: Human
The city of Libera started off as a medium sized city where humans and animatics lived peacfully together for quite some time. They were ruled by the queen of the captial of the country, but she usually stayed out of their affairs. On the day the Queen was assassinated, the city began to crumble. Without any proper rule, gangs and tribes rose to try and take over, but other faction were also vying for control so they constantly battled. Eventually they all called in their strongest mages to unleash a huge war that decismated half of the city, blowing it to oblivion and tearing the city in half, leaving a nuclear winter terrain and valley that extended far away in both directions. In this disaster, the city was evacuated and they began to rebuild. Once they were rebuilt into New Libera, a autocratic rule was created. Now they city flourishes, but it is not without it's share of violence and crime. The weather of the city is almost always below freezing, and if it is not snowing lightly, there is a blizzard. This is all due to the catastrophic war that ensued.
The old city is left in ruins to the south of the new city. People sometimes go there for refuge when they cannot afford shelter at the newer city. There is a sort of civil unrest among the humans an Animatics since the war with not much trust between them.
The newer city is a city inside of a large building. The outside climate is much to harsh to survive in, so they created a city within a large building to keep the cold out. It has many places to go and see, but their pride and joy is their Tiverton Inn, which is one of the largest and most luxurious Inns in the country. Many people come from far and wide to visit it and stay the night and are always satisfied. Though it is very fancy, it is very inexpensive. Since the economy of Libera is extremely proficient, prices are very low compared to other places. That is why it is a major trade city. Most people live comfortably without much trouble financially. It is one of the best places to live if you don't mind the frequent civil unrest.
On the bottom to the sixth floor of the building is simply homes and hotels. On the upper levels are the most lively areas, with clubs and stores galore. Bars and clubs are frequented most.
Mentioning the old Libera is a sore spot for most inhabitants. It is not something they discuss anymore, seeing it as the greatest catastrophy to happen to them.

Entry 1 - Huuballawick
Every season has special meaning to the animatics. Summer is celebrated by Fox breeds, while winter is celebrated by wolf-breeds. Spring is celebrated by lion/tiger breeds while Autumn is celebrated by everyone else. The seasons hold a great meaning to their culture dating all the way back to their creation. It is unknown exactly where it started, but it has become a major part of their culture. No matter which part of the world, these seasons are almost always celebrated on the first day of each by the animatics. Farrokh Bulsara has had perhaps the greatest effect on the city of Libera out of anyone. A loved one of his was sentenced to death from a false accusation, and seeking revenge he marched hundreds of miles to the capitol where the queen that governed Libera lived. He blew through the entire country's defenses and could not be stopped. He finally killed the queen, and left the country, not taking on the throne as he was inclined to. This left Libera and the following cities practically lawless with no one to give orders or enforce the law, but Libera perhaps suffered the most. They fell into chaos with small gangs rising up to try and take control, which eventually ended in a catastrophic war of nuclear scale, destroying half the city and forcing them to quickly impose a new ruler.
The Animatics are the race that that created the original Libera who originally lived as recluses, but once Humans decided to set up a trade with them, they eventually integrated and lived as a whole.
Animatics are human and animal hybrids. They can be anywhere from Lion-like to Wolf-like. They are different from Neko creatures as Nekos are a higher precentage human than animal, while animatics are more animal than human. Animatics range in animosity from being pracitcallt bipedal animals to humans with tails and or ears. Depending on the percentage of their DNA, they may not have as strong animal characteristics. They are more agile and felxible than humans and are one of the most environmentally adaptable creatures that exist. Most of them also have magical powers or properties due to their half animal blood.
The animatics history of creation is vague. At some point a human somehow breeded with an animal, but that is just one theory passed down. Others say it was a genetic mutation that spurred up randomly in the human DNA, then through years of breeding it became a natural chararistic.

Entry 1 - Huuballawick
Queen Wolk of Libera
Desctription: She is the new Queen of Libera, and she forced her way to the top. That does not mean she is malevolent though. She truly does care for her people, but she is not afraid to rule with an iron fist if she has to. She is also highly trained in swordplay. She is the first animatic to ever rule the city, old or new. Her favorite weapon to use is a rapier she had her forgers make for her with a intricate hilt and guard. She also wears chainmail at all times.
