Another year had already gone by and it was hard for the starry-pelted lioness to believe she had been a part of this pride long enough to be in her second Sky Ceremony. It was exciting though. Last year she didn't make it very far, but this year she was determined to give it her all and try again and bring back a little bit of pride for her clan. Sky clan was small, made of up mostly lions she knew well, but a few families she saw, but hardly knew. It was her home though. Even if she lost in her first round, she could walk away, beaming with pride that she had participated once more and represented her clan.
The lioness padded up the location given for the two to battle and scanned her surroundings. It was definitely good to back at the festival, meeting other lions, clans and then pushing to better herself. Giving a nod of her own readiness to begin to her opponent.

Another battle. After winning her last duel, Alenisgi was primed and ready to fight again! Things were fun, and she was learning that slowly. Hanging out with other lions, doing things with them: there was something to it. Instead of just talking to them, antagonizing them for the most part, and then wandering off and being as aloof as she had once prided herself on being.
This was different, and it was not bad for being so.
She padded up toward the lioness that was waiting for her, nodding her head almost timidly, though trying to look tough just for the show of it. This was a ceremony, right? And this was the kind of stuff she told so many others to go out and find. She could do this.
"Hello. Ready?"
