He stood on the training field with his obnoxious pink shock of hair, leaning against one of the dummies as he slid Haruko’s chain idly between his fingers. It was like waiting for the impending squall, for the clash of thunder that he was sure to erupt any moment onto the field, snarling and vicious. It had been stupid to poke the bear, Nevada was right. It was idiotic, and asinine, and entirely certain that Shiloh was going to end up on his a**. He didn’t doubt his own capabilities, but he knew how far they stretched, and he was pretty sure they didn’t encompass taking down storming redheads. There had been no good reason for picking the fight, other than that after a tense few weeks his patience for assholes had worn threadbare, and Rep, his bullying all too familiar, had cut away at the last few threads of his resolve. Shiloh should have kept his mouth shut was beginning to become a reoccurring statement.

Rep's fuse these days was far longer than it had been when he'd first arrived on the island, where even so much as an implication of femininity or homosexuality would send him completely off the deep end. It was longer, but it was not infinite, and the more the perception that it was everyone versus him intensified, the more defensive he had became until finally he snapped. It could have been at any one of the people who had been retorting to him, Kostya, even Dakota. But Shiloh had managed to dig deep, getting under all the armour he'd tried to develop over the months. The comment had hurt, and he intended to avenge that hurt sevenfold. He took the self conciousness and self loathing and twisted it into a weapon, turned it outwards and aimed it squarely at the other hunter who'd dared to stand up to him, who he had been left with no choice but to pursue. Not to rebuke was weakness, not to chase off rivals was the bastion of the sickly and frail.
As he strode onto the training field he already had Tracey summoned, the twisted axe streaked with runes which pulsed hungrily in time with his racing heart.
"You ******** up you little ******** fairy." Everything in him practically screamed with outrage at the other man. That someone with pink hair, someone who flouted so many of Rep's self imposed laws of masculinity, had argued back to him was the greatest insult he could imagine.
He hesitated for a moment with the patient look of a cat that knew it had it's prey cornered and was in for a game. He purred huskily. "You ******** up good. You ******** up real good. And now I get to ******** take you apart limb by ******** limb and call it an accident. Don't apologise, that would be disappointing."
Tracey repeated insistently.
But he didn't swing yet.

Dakota was there, like a giant whale standing off on the sidelines, eating a large piece of red velvet cake and watching as the lion came for the duck.
Ah animal planet at its FINEST.
(also he was there to make sure that Shiloh didn't die...or Rep got in more trouble...)

Harrison walked alongside Rep to the field this time, B0nez appearing in his hands in two sharp and flashy points.
"Usually I'm on paramedic duty. And it's not you I'm making an exception for," he told Shiloh.
He looked at Rep, scowling.
"Yeah well, any accidents are going to have to be minus an axe. The fight's being monitored."
He stabbed the shorter dagger at Shiloh like a pointer finger.
"And don't be so smug either, you masochistic little s**t." Harrison set his shoulders, grumbling, "ought to start charging people per bruise. <******** missed his calling. Dakota, does this look like a bake sale."
B0nez was lit up with electric glee.

"Why you want to buy my cake?" He took another bite, "Rep get's a good hit in for the kids, then I'll be defending. I figure it's due since little shits be little shits. Just don't kill him in one hit." He smiled as the cake slowly started to disappear.

Rep strode out onto the field, quite differently from how Shiloh had imagined he would appear. He reeked of confidence, but it wasn’t until Rep opened his mouth that Shiloh got the full force of his rage spat squarely into his face. Rep was intimidating, as was the massive axe he held dangerously in his hands but Shiloh simply straightened himself up, and with a limbering shake of his shoulders, smiled back at the insults Rep hurled at him. His insults were the least scary part, and each word Rep spoke only cemented further why Shiloh wasn’t about to fly away. Shiloh’s code of honor ran only as deep as behavior, and of Rep’s he wholeheartedly disapproved. The man was an a*****e through and through, and even if couldn’t kick Rep’s a**, he could at the very least prove that at least someone had backbone enough to stand up to him.
Haruko agreed, growling incessantly in his head. Her jaws loved the taste of an opponent’s flesh, and the hunter standing before them looked particularly delicious. She had her partner to protect, after all.
“That’s weird, last time I check I could have sworn I didn’t have wings,” Shiloh feigned surprise, craning his head to try and look at his back. When he turned back to Rep, his smile had widened into a grin as he noticed the entourage they’d acquired, specifically the man defending Rep.
“Called in the calvary, eh? This is between him and I, you know. I’m not smug, only answering a summons.””

Rep had forgotten the edict against him using Tracey in spars and his memory was only as long as his temper. It was fortunate that Harrison was there to remind him of it, Tracey would have been no help at all in that respect, already clamouring for the fear that he was hopelessly addicted to, demanding that Rep attack.
He didn't desummon straight away, loathe to let go of the security that was the heavy and lethal steel in his hands, of the promise of a charge in the near future which could potentially do the damage he longed with every fibre of his being to do.
It was impossible for the redhead not to laugh at Shy's reminder that it was between the two of them. He didn't do fair fights at the best of times, never one to turn down odds heavily stacked in his favour. But he hoped at least this time he'd be able to deal with it on his own. "I don't need any ******** cavalry to chew you up and spit you out."
He gave Harrison a sidelong smirk. "I'll charge him next time for the ******** service."
When he turned his attention back to the pink haired man, his expression was intent.

Shiloh followed the dialogue between the two, watching curiously as Rep finally relented and the axe dissipated from view. His first thought was that Rep was idiot, his second something that tore quite peculiarly at his ethics. Unlike Rep, Shiloh was inclined to fight fair, out of respect for his opponent. However, he neither liked nor respected Rep and thus was created a particular dilemma.
In the end, much to the Inugami’s displeased yowls, he chose to unsummon his weapon. He had the same amount of confidence in his ability to win with fists as he did with his weapon, but though winning the scrap wasn’t likely, it didn’t matter; if he did win it would be of his own merit, not foul play. If he lost, well, it didn’t really matter that way either. Rep would still be the same smarmy a*****e, but at least he’d have stood up to him. At least he could stand up to Rep, and vent some of his own frustrations.
“Call your cavalry off then, and let’s practice some hand to hand combat.”

Rep's smirk didn't recede "I'm not ******** practising anything. I'm just not allowed to use my weapon to brutalise you on island. Last person I did, I accidentally chopped off her arm. Long ******** story. Ace is allowed though."
He patted Harrison's shoulder affectionately, but kept his eyes on Shy. "Consider this a well ******** earned lesson though, you pick a fight you take all the backlash, only ******** idiots play fair. You don't get to set the terms here in any ******** way at all. Summon your weapon and I'll even let you get the first swing and we can see if your arm can match your ******** mouth."

"And just to be fair, half of the Calvary here is to make sure you don't get yourself killed Brat." Dakota took the final bite of the cake, setting the plate down and stretching. "I'm here to make it fair. I was waiting for Rep to pull the first punch but since he seems to take his goddamn time..."
He summoned Chama and stood next to Shy.
"Well let's see how well it goes..."

Shiloh shrugged, and in an instant, Haruko was back in his hands, her chain sliding smoothly through his fingers. He wasn’t about to stack the odds in his favor on his own, but Rep wanted to dictate the terms of the fight, that was different. He was more than willing to oblige, fairly certain that having Haruko didn’t tip the scale his way, it just made the gap between his skillset and Rep’s just a little less gargantuan.
[ Let’s do this, Shiloh. Hurry up and hit him, already, ] Haruko urged him, snapping irritably. She was angry with him for even having considered fighting without her, but that anger was fuel, and they had a target ready and willing ahead of them.
Shiloh returned Harrison’s grim smile, annoyed that the man refused to move. It was a feeling that only grew as Dakota stepped in front of him. He was grateful for the defense, but for a spar between Rep and him, there were two too many people involved.
“Thank you,” he said, nodding at Dakota, “But seriously, it’s between me and yappy over there, not you two.”

When Dakota stepped forward, everything about Rep's posture changed - where mere moments before he was relaxed, ready to make his point by dishing out a melee thrashing and simply walking away - he found himself facing horribly stacked odds. He hadn't been counting on Dakota backing this little ******** up against him, especially not when he considered the moon hunter his friend. In Rep's strange and skewed world of loyalties and fealty, it was tantamount to a deep and terrible betrayal. "You heard him, back the ******** off Dakota or you are part of this too. "
And if Dakota was part of it, he intended to summon Tracey, consequences be damned, there was a line between discipline and being outgunned.
When he swung the first punch it was with a desperate sort of nervousness that ran through his entire posture, cautiously testing the defence Dakota had offered the other man to see if it persisted and he had to pull out the big guns all over again.

Harrison broke the line, pushing through Chama and pinning Shiloh to the ground with B0nez's shorter blade. He got mostly shirt, but it scraped away a sliver of Shiloh's shield.
"It isn't, huh?" he asked.

"I was asked to come here by Harrison, Rep." Dakota let the punch graze his defense, studying the hunter. "Because as your friend, the last thing I want you to do is get in trouble. Podded, ******** killed. Damn dude, Friends are allowed to worry about you." He shook his head.
Even as Harrison snapped past guard, which was surprising but not really at all.
"Hey Hey Harrison, off you go." He picked the moon hunter up and pushed him back to Rep. Then he set up for defense again.
"Try that again won't you?"
