How to Send Gifts
So, you've bought your gift, but you aren't sure how to send it. That's okay! Just follow this easy, step-by-step guide (WITH PICTURES) to figure it all out.
1. Go to your inventory.
Right-click the "Inventory" button under "My Gaia" tab, or here, and choose "Open in New Tab" (varies by browser).
2. Choose your gift.
For this example, I'll be using Princess the Piglet. Choose the gift you are sending by clicking on its image. If you can't find it, use the search bar and enter its name.
3. Start the process.
A window will pop-up with the description of your item, average price, and sellback value. Click "gift item" if this is the correct item.
4. Confirm this is the proper gift.
You will be redirected to the gifting page, which looks like this. If this gift was not what you meant to send, click the back button and start over. Otherwise, continue on to the next step.
5. Choose your wrapping.
Pick whatever you like; it doesn't matter.
6. Choose the recipient.
Enter the name in the left box, or use the dropdown if the user is a friend. I'm using the Captain as an example here.
7. Check anonymous.
Click the box at the bottom, like so. You may enter a message if you so desire, but this is not required.
8. Enter your password.
This is to confirm that you are the owner of the account.
9. Confirm the gift.
Click submit. You will be taken to the confirmation page.
10. Send the gift.
This will show all the info you have entered. If this is correct, hit submit. If not, hit edit and fix as desired.
