-MoomoolatteCha- All that filly's hard work on Tsalars mane went to waste. He promised to stay out of the weeds and he failed. Giving a long sigh,Tsalar was really caught in some branches and vines. It was one huge mess. The stallions legs were getting a bit tired after a couple of days standing there. It was upsetting because no one really came into this area besides the soquili who tried to keep away from anyone and everyone. They wouldn't help a soul. Slamming a hoof and grunting,Tsalar wish he would've listened to the filly. Now he was just in a bigger mess than the last time. All he had were tiny branches and leaves. A big pain in the a** his horns and mane were. Espisally the spikes on his cheeks, when he tried to get though something they'd make so much noise when hunting. Why were his mutations such a pain...
Thamin Crimson eyes blinked and focused on the seemingly thrashing movements below. They searched for such movements, and focused against Brins will. It was a habit she had formed when with Typhoid, and one she had attempted to break at any cost. It was a good thing though, despite the reasoning behind it - it allowed her to pinpoint others in danger. She hated it though because she knew the reason the gaze was drawn and focused; it was easy prey. Her stomach turned at the thought of eating living flesh again, and her expression soured. But, she descended anyways, landing not too far from the caught soquili. This.... was going to be difficult. It had been a miracle she had seen the soquili through the twisted, gnarled, grasping branches, and even more so that she had been able to find a place to land. But in this untraveled area it would be near imposable for her move around. She paced back and forth as she looked for a way to squeeze her bulky form over to the trapped soquili. "Are you alright?" She called out as she contemplated options. Perhaps it was better to find out before she took things into her own hooves - it'd be very unwelcoming for her to barge in and mess things up for the soquili if this was indeed his desired predicament.
-MoomoolatteCha- Tsalar's mind went blank as he stood there. He wondered if anything would ever come around and help set him free. But he doubted that since he looked like a freak. Fillies made it obvious that he looked funny.Even one that looked similar to him,but she did say that she didn't mind the way he looked. It bothered him though. Hearing something off in the distance,he looked up.Tsalar noticed the other beast standing before him.She was quite the different breed. "If you would say alright." He said looking at the s**t he was tangeled in. Tsalar noticed her pacing around, why was she?Just clip him out of this mess and they'd be on their ways. At least that is how he thought it would go.
Thamin Brin raised a brow and narrowed her yellow gaze on the male before her. She looked him up and down. "Being stuck has made you a little pissed off hasnt it? Or are you always sarcastic?" She raised her tail and with heavy swings sliced through the brambles and smaller branches blocking her way like butter. Larger branches she was too tall to duck under took more than one swing, but in time they fell too. After a few moments and several feet only two trees, too close together for her to squeeze her body through, stood in her way from reaching the male. Perhaps it was just better to go around. It would take a few minutes more, but would be less of a hassle. At the same time, the tree, when it fell, would clear out much of the brambles and brush and would give her a path to fly out. She shrugged and began to hack away at the trees trunks.
-MoomoolatteCha- Tsalar snorted. "Obviously."He watched as she started to chop everything down with her tail. It was one huge weapon of dristruction. It ripped through anything in its way. He was a tiny bit intimidated by this mare.He couldn't ever do anything like this. Tsalar closed his eyes as she started hacking away at the trees in front of him. It would probably be best if he didn't go blind. It would be even worse if it did,i mean he was already in a mess. Learning how to walk around without eyes would be hard.
Thamin Brin could tell her blades were getting duller; each stroke took more force and effort. It took a while to beat her way through the trunk of one of the trees, but the crisp and resounding crack of the trunk beginning to give way echoed through the wooded area. She wedged her shoulder between the two and pushed with all her might - the last thing she wanted was to go through all this effort only to have the tree fall on the very being she was attempting to help. The tree groaned and snapped, branches broke and crashed to the ground as the canopy bashed against soundly standing trunks, and with a thud that shook the ground the tree came to rest on the forest floor. Brin was exhausted now, but she gave a toothy grin and looked blinkingly up at the sunlight that was now filtering through. She took a deep breath before turning back to the male. "You can open your eyes now; only the dust is settling now." She eyed the brambles that held such a tight grip on the males head, curious about how to get him out without hurting him. "So, any way you want me to go about this?"
-MoomoolatteCha- Tsalar kept his eyes closed. He was curious about what was happening. All the sounds around him. Was she planning on killing him with these falling trees!? He tool a big gulp and listened for her to speak up. He awaited a little bit and there it was. "Are you sure..." He asked in a semi nervous voice. Then he opened his eyes slowly and there stood the mare before him. "No. As long as you get me out. " How was he going to repay her.
Thamin "Well..." Brin said as she eyed the brambles around his face, entwined around what seemed to be spikes protruding from his jaw. "Perhaps it would be better to keep your eyes closed." She raised a cloven hoof and stepped down firmly on the main part of the branches, applying tension to them. It was probably painful for the male, the branches pulling tightly downward. She fluffed up her wings, eying the situation from all angles with her four eyes before taking the tiny hooked blade at the tip of her tail and cutting each vine, branch, and twig she could see holding him in place. She didnt dare get too close though, she feared she would slip and accidentally cut him, so he would have to have the pieces removed afterwards. At least he would be free though. "One last one..." She said as she lightly bit her lip and sliced away.

-MoomoolatteCha- Tsalar nodded slowly to her and closed his eyes one more time. He listened as she started cutting up the branches and vines around him. What a time this was, having someone else help him get out of another mess. His body moved slightly down as she stepped on the branches,it made him ache a bit with his horns and wings. They did have a nice hold on them both. "Alright..."He said in almost a whisper and awaited for the last one to be gone. He wanted out. Now.
Thamin The dulling blade ran it's length across the vine once, twice... And with the third stroke a loud snap echoed as the limbs and branches that had been held up up by the grasping vine crashed and fell to the ground with their now broken friend under the weight of the cloven hoof. A soft smile spread across Brin's maw as she beamed with pride over the situation. "And with that I do believe you are free. I didnt miss any, did I?" She questioned, wanting to be sure. She took a step back to allow the stallion room to move about. Though her weight was no longer on the brambles that had helt the male captive they did not spring back instantaneously. They slowly began to raise and move though; in time they would be back in their snaring position and ready to trap another victim. "You alright?"
-MoomoolatteCha- As soon as he left those gribs release him,he whipped his wings open and tossed his head. Normally he wouldn't be acting like this, but he had been waiting for days. "yes! Thank you.." He made sure he didn't trample or hit the mare when he ran out from the small space. Tsalar tossed his braid and wiggled his big bird tail. Shaking out his mane and his wings,he was happy. "Yes yes." Tsalar looked up to the female when he calmed down and tried to give a slight smile. He never would do that, but this was a weird time. "How do i repay you?"
Thamin Brin took even a few more steps back to allow for even more room; she was pleased to see the stallions sour mood change. She folded her wings back and fluffed them, tucking them neatly to her sides. She was pleased. "To be honest," Brin started as she chuckled nervously at the male's question. "There isn't anything. I didn't do it to be repaid. If I was stuck I'd hope someone would come to help me; the least I could do was help someone else." She paused for a moment before looking about. She had used quite a bit of energy in her endeavor though, and now she was famished because of it. "But, would you happen to know of any place near by that I might find some fish?"

-MoomoolatteCha- Tsalar looked over to her again once she started talking. "I know, but you were the only one who bothered stopping when people stopped by." Tsalar fluffed his wings as well and kept listening to her."Its appreciated." He normally wouldn't say the things like this but it was really appreciated. It was hard trying to get himself out of a place like that. His ears perked up at her question. "Well..." Thinking of something and looking around them. "I think there is a river just a little ways down the road."
Thamin Brin smiled once more to the stallion, this time in a gesture of gratitude. "Thank you." She said as she began to turn and continue onward to find said river. Rivers were much more difficult to fish from but at the same time it was still a source of nourishment other than... She shook her head at the thought. She knew it would be difficult; it'd most likely be easier to fly than to attempt to maneuver one's way through the dense woods. She halted in her tracks. She was only a short distance away from where she had helped the stallion. She raised her head to the sky and looked at the clearing in the canopy. "Do you think it would be better to continue on to the river? Or would it be better to take advantage of the clearing and fly away from this tangled mess to another possible source?"
-MoomoolatteCha- Tsalar fluffed his feathers some more and took a look at the mare. "There has to be some way..I can't just let someone help me then not repay." Snorts slightly. "I appreciate it,its great you stopped by." Hmmm....was there a water source near by? "I think I seen one a little ways from here. Follow me." He turned to walk towards where he seen a small pond in the forest.
Thamin Brin paused; though she was disinclined to continue wandering through the tangled mess of a forest her hunger and need for food was more urgent. Besides, walking took up quite a bit less energy than flying. With a soft and short nod she turned to folow the male.

As he walked,he kept glancing back to the mare.He didn't understand why she was so nice to him. It seemed so silly, then again he was going to help her find a water source. "I think it's this way." He said as he moved ahead towards a opening in the trees.
Hopefully Tsalar could find the spot.It would be really helpful to them both. His claws dug up dirt in each step. He pinned his ears.Where was it..?Ah! "Right there." He motioned with his wing as he looked back at the mare. She had some really interesting markings,he looked at them before but he really didn't get a deep look. She....was interesting. He couldn't say that she was 'beautiful', because nothing he seen actually was.It was nice in its own way.But nothing overly drastic like the word beautiful.
"So...whats your name?" Tsalar asked softly as they moved closer to the body of water.

Brin continued to follow in silence, watching the male before her. He was, in a single word, odd. Though most would probably take her classification and apply it to his looks Brin was in no way one to look at one's appearance when trying to figure out someone. After all, she had only to look at her reflection to see that things are not always what they seemed to be. She felt as though she was making the male nervous, he kept looking back at her. Did he think that she was a freak? Was he looking for a good chance to flee and just leave her behind so that he may be on his way? Did he worry, with her walking behind him, that she may at any moment find him to be an appealing snack and pounce? Perhaps the fleeting glances were less on the pessimistic side and he was simply being courteous and making sure that she did not fall behind or get lost. All too often Brin had come across another and after only a few moments of speaking with them she could read them like an open book. This male was an odd one though. Gruff at first, but seemingly genuine in gratitude and willingness to return the favor. Brin fluffed her wings slightly as they continued on, eying the male and his appearance. Though she never judged another on appearance she had to admit that she was intrigued by his lack of hooves. Others may be concerned about the feathered hair or tail, but her Daddy Zuzu had feathers growing from his shoulders and back - it wasnt anything new to her. But claws - she was Quite intrigued by them to say the least.
Her ears perked up and she looked eagerly when the male indicated the direction of the pond. A small grin could not be quelled and spread until it broadly showed across her maw and she shifted her footing with anticipation, she did indeed love the water. She was fixing to barrel forward to the edge to see what sort of wildlife may be lurking beneath the glassy surface when the male's voice reached her ears once more. She paused, almost out of disbelief. How could she have been so rude as to not have introduced herself before now?!?! An ever so slight rosy tint flushed through her cheeks and she chuckled nervously - she normally wasnt one to neglect these things. "I am sorry; my name is Zul'Brin." She said softly with a nod. "Though..... Most just cut it down to Brin." She added. "And who might you be?"
