All subsequent rolls (Total of Eight rolls all together) follow in posts below. The story just kept flowing so I had to roll to compensate with rolls for each dragon she killed. Since we can't spread it over multiple hunts. I never plan for her to keep killing. It just happens QQ

Erionda's arms pushed skyward as she yawned. Rotating her previously injured shoulder. The ship was just pulling into the port. The aiskala hybrid could already feel the suffocating heat of Eowyn all around her. She had returned to Eowyn to accomplish some dragon kills, and to seek out an old friend.

The Aiskala Hybrids, figure was well covered in a thin deep green cloak. Masking the features of her face, her mismatched eyes and the violet scales along her cheek bones. Everything from her head to her toes remained well shrouded in the fabric. The only prominent feature Erionda displayed were her long purple horns. Poking out of the hood of her cloak to swoop along the side of her head and back.

She preferred to remain away from the prying eyes of the pure bloods. Even though a medal granted her some leeway, Erionda wasn't buying into the act. It didn't make tradition change over night. The tradition to hate hybrids still ran deep inside the mind of many Magescians. Even the wanted posters, sun bleached and curling against the worn walls, still held evidence of the desire to see her head on a platter.

Nothing but coins to line their pockets. Hybrids were still hunted at large, and those who had been tolerant before the war. Now engaged in desperate hunts to locate other hybrids and kill them. Still believing they were the cause of the patchwork creations.

Tilawen had been missing from her life for too long. Even Junjie had expressed his concern about not seeing her. And she was certain the ysali hybrid would know more about Tilawen's whereabouts than anyone else. That made Erionda worry more. Tilawen hadn't surfaced to speak with Erionda since her kidnapping. Hopefully she hadn't been mistaken for one of the patchwork creations the race leaders had buried within their now hidden tomb.

Erionda looked towards the cave she had once been held in. Even if the location was far from her. Clicking her tongue to encourage the hastar to follow her down the plank. The wood wobbled unsteadily with the ballance of passangers shifting their weight. Erionda wasn't satasfied until she and the hastar were firmly on the sands of Eowyn.

Mounting her creature from the left side Erionda pulled her left arm, pushing against the beast with her right heel. Guiding the hastar to the left the hybrid moved past several stalls and run down buildings until she moved past the town. The aiskala girl listened as she moved trying to glean any informative words she could from the people gathered in the marketplace. Her heterochromatic eyes unable to pick out any wanted signs posted up for Tilawen. Erionda took that as a positive sign.

Kissing her hastar into motion. Their speed shifted from a trot to a quick lope, Lanzecki and Uassae's shadows passed over her from time ti time as they moved ahead and then fell behind. She knew they felt most comfortable with the ability to stretch their wings and fly, instead of feeling trapped against the ground. Pulling the reigns to the right the party shifted direction. Clouds of dust puffing behind each hoof as they moved.

Erionda has systematically searched all of Eyown for any sign of her friend with no luck. There were only a couple places in the desert the hybrid had left to search.

Screaming as the hastar reared up at the sudden appearance of a Gaili dragon. Her left foot caught in the stirrup, gripping the reigns tighter Erionda's body fell towards the hastars chest before she freed her foot and hit the ground. Groaning as the hastar took of in a random direction. She would have to track it down afer she defeated the dragon.

The sound of her sword scrapping out of its sheath drew the earth dragons attention. Its deep brown eye dared her to attack. Grinding her teeth, the hybrid squared her stance waiting for the dragon to lunge at her. When it finally did Erionda's sword reacted. Slashing out with an arc behind it. Stumbling back, Erionda's feet shifted to correct her position. A deep breath escaped here as she lunged for another attack. Aiming for the chest she pierced the chest as it rose up on its hind legs. Her blade struck the heart.

Relief filled Erionda as she felt the dragons life flee from it. Crumbling into dust the dragons remains drifted away in the wind. Mixing with the sand of Eowyns desert land.

look out!

Uassae's mental voice pulled at Rio. Forced to spin around the hybrid found another dragon stalking towards her. It wasn't unusual for her to find more than one dragon at a time. Gripping her long sword tighter, the hybrid moved to the side keeping her shoulders square with the beast. Her feet kicking up sand as she lunged in for an attack.

Bending backwards Erionda's feet slipped from below her. Yelping at the shock of the movements the hybrid slid between the Dragons legs. Taking advantage of the moment, Rio's blade sliced along the dragons belly. Entrails splashed on the ground around her making the sand slick with the moisture of blood.

Magic sprang to life along her arms as another set of claws only grazed the side of her right arm. The previous dragon crumbled into dust, mixing with the blood and sand at her feet. Crying out as pain echoed up her arm, Erionda rolled to her injured side. Trying to lessen the pain, the hybrid dropped her imprinted weapon to cover her bleeding arm. Erionda looked up to see two more pairs of eyes staring down at her. Uassae diving in at them from above.

Cursing Erionda cringed at the drool slithering down the side of one dragons muzzle. How had she managed to get herself into this mess? Letting go of her stinging arm Erionda's fingers moved through the sand in an attempt to locate her dropped long sword. The tips of her fingers located the very edge of the blades hilt.

Tensing her core muscles Erionda rolled forward into a ball. Her hand sliding into it's familiar place on the sword's hilt. Her momentum carried her into the muddy mess. Gathering her feet under her, Erionda found herself slipping again. The blood mixing with the sand made the ground under her slippery. She was used to ice, and sand, but not this. It gave way to her feet in a different way.

Reaching out with her injured arm to steady herself. The hybrid looked up in time to see Uassae's claws dig into the flesh of another dragon. His lips curling back in a snarl as his jaws snapped around the jugular.

Ice formed in the air and drying blood. Shards springing to life from Erionda's Aiskala magic. Spears of thin ice sailed towards the dragon Uassae was currently ignoring. Catching the opponent in the eyes. Stopping it in its tracks before it could cause harm to her Drakein companion.

choking on a sudden yank against her cloak. Erionda pulled on a string as the material was ripped away from her. Spinning around the aiskala flushed. Yet another Gaili stood growling at her. She ducked in time to miss a swip of its claws. More shards of ice formed and flew towards the dragons facing Uassae.

Moving as quick as she could away from the slippery surface. Erionda's magic reacted with each step. Long thing spikes of ice formed in the blood and entrails of the previously killed dragon as she moved. Her body pushing its way towards Uassae and the other two Gaili dragons.

A shadow passing overhead barely phased Erionda. Her eyes skimmed over the dying dragon Uassae was ripping apart with his fangs. To the dragon she had only blinded. Its nostrils flared in the attempt to sniff out it opponent. The dragons back turned towards Erionda. Tail lashing back and forth in its attempt to protect itself from any attacks aimed from behind. Erionda moved swiftly along the side of the dragons tail, jumping as it passed under her.

Landing on the tail Erionda shoved her sword in for balance. The dragon roared, lifting it's hind legs. Trying to use its body as a counter balance to pull it's tail loose. Keeping her sword in place Erionda ran up along the dragons back. Stumbling on its shoulders she fell forward. Her hands clutched onto whatever she could as it tried to wiggle free of her.

The tingle of magic in her hands surged into the dragon under her feet. Freezing the dragons blood from the inside out. Taking a deep breath as the dragon turned to dust, Erionda crumbled to the ground in a heap. Her arm stung as she tried to push herself from the ground.

A shadow passed overhead again. Nervous Erionda looked skyward to see another dragon aiming strait for her. Its eyes grew into slits as Uassae trumpeted the defeat of the dragon he fought.

"Uassae move!" Erionda screamed at her Aeduan Drakein. Waving her injured arm in front of her as if she could magically move her companion out of the danger zone by doing so.

Uassae looked up, his pupils grew. Spreading his wings Uassae removed his body from the ground. Spinning and rolling out of the large dragons pathway. Pumping his wings as hard as he could to pull himself above the dragon before him he let out a loud cry.

"There is another one coming Rio."

Erionda cursed under her breath. The dragon from the other side of the bloody entrails growled from behind her as the newest addition landed in front of her.

Growling with irritation and her failing energy, Erionda spun around in a circle. Her blade leaving an arc behind it as it moved. The sharp metal cutting into the flesh of both dragons. Her free hand forming a spike of ice she threw skyward as the shadow of another incoming dragon passed over head.

The ice buried deep into the dragons belly. Stopping it mid flight it screamed, its hind legs struggling to remove the melting object as it tumbled to the ground. Its bones shattering as it met the ground. Landing onto the line of spikes Erionda had previously created in self defense.

The sound of bones breaking was deafening to Erionda's ears, the thrill of battle the only thing that kept the hybrid moving. This was turning into a graveyard of Gaili. So why weren't they avoiding her by now?

Their pride remember

Erionda cursed inwardly. Uassae was right. Dragons had a deep internal pride. And sense of revenge when it came to the slaughter of their own kind. She had seen that once before with the Kiandri, only then she had assumed it was a coincidence the way they gathered and attacked with growing rage at each kill she made.

Mismatched eyes snapped towards a shift in the ground. It was trying to gather all the orbs into one sinking hole. "Lanzecki, can I trust you to gather the orbs and hold them safely until we can get out of this mess." Erionda questioned both vocally and mentally across the bond. Her mind transferring images of what she was requesting.

The hybrid felt the mental nod, her grey Keinling swooped into the battle field. His wings pumping quickly to keep his body in flight as he activated the little magic he knew. A tunnel of wind pulled the orbs from the ground. Flicking his tail, his muscles screamed as he moved away from the ground.

As if a string were attached to the orbs a dragon hurled itself from the ground. Snapping up after Lanzecki in it's own desperate attempt to recover the orbs of it's fallen allies.

Out of the corner of her eye's. Erionda could see the one of the dragons lunging for her. Claws and teeth ready for a final blow. Ducking and pressing her belly flat to the ground, Erionda scurried forward on her belly. The dragon missed her. Its teeth shredding the other dragon who had attempted to lung at the same time.

One brown orb hit the ground skidding a foot before it was collected by Lanzecki and added to the collection.

The dragon wailed its furry, lunging out at Erionda again.

Reacting defensively Erionda swung her sword out again her ice helping to lengthen the reach of her imprinted blade. Severing the dragons carotid artery. Blood spilled from the dragon coating her in the thick, hot, sticky liquid before it burst into dust above her.

Cringing to keep the dust from entering her eyes, Erionda's hand flashed up to protect her face. The black soot like substance sticking to the blood covering her body.

Distracted by the death of the dragon Erionda didn't have time to react as another dragon made it's presence known. Its sharp teeth took hold of Erionda's leg. Screaming Erionda found her body lifted from the ground. The teeth digging deeper into her flesh.

Stomach muscles tightened as she pulled her upper body towards the Dragons muzzle. Shoving her blade between the dragons sharp teeth, Erionda struggled to pry the dragons mouth open to free her from it's grasp. The pain from the wound shot up her leg with each movement sending spasms into her spine. Forcing the Aiskala Hybrid to cry out in pain.

Uassae was the first to respond to Erionda's distress. Latching himself onto the dragons body making sure to root himself in place with his front claws and teeth. Raking and shoving with his hind claws against the opponents throat.

Feeling the attack from another angle, the dragon released the hybrid. Attempting to snap at Uassae in vain. It claws and tail reaching up to dislodge the Drakein.

Erionda hit the ground, her breath knocking from her lungs as she struggled to breath. Her head swimming from her wounds, the heat, and exhaustion. A dark shadow drew the hybrids attention as she found one of the two remaining dragons lunging for her.

Curling up into a protective ball, Erionda formed a thick sphere of ice around her body. Sharp pins shot out all around her protective shell. The dragon landed on its death. Cracking the ice shielding the hybrid within from any further danger.

Uassae's assault on the final dragon was short lived as the creature succumbed to it's fate. The final orb rolling accros the sand to be collected by the younger grey Keindred.

The Aeduan Drakein hovered in the air for a brief moment before lifting in search of anymore attacks that may proceed now that they had successfully killed eight of the Gaili dragons. His blue eyes scanned the blood stained sand. Once satisfied the danger had passed Uassae angled back towards Erionda's protective shell. Lowering to his belly he let out a soft rumble.

His body was covered in scratches, minor, thanks to his healing capabilities. Lowering his head between his front paws. Uassae allowed his body to relax. The dragons were gone, they had successfully killed them and Rio was still alive.

Erionda's breath was deep. The frozen water melting against the heat of Eowyns sun. She didn't mind that so much. Cold droplets that escaped the melting ice splashed against her cheeks. Leaving streaks behind as they escaped her face. The ice shell around her emanated a cool air, giving the Aiskala hybrid comfort after the long hard battle in the hot desert sand.
