Teela pulled the mustang into the driveway. She looked at the house with a littlecuriosity however she remained silent. She opened her door and stepped out letting out a hiss of pain as her leg sent a jolt of pain through her.

Teela winced and turned her face away to ward off a blow when he was suddenly there however when none came she hesitantly nodded but after applying a little pressure and her leg almost giving out she shook her head and pointed to her knee. The joint swollen and purple from the injury she had aquired a few days before. Courtesy of a gaurd when she tried to run from him in her cell.

Teela smiled grateful but held up her hand and shook her head. She took one of his hands and placed his wrist against her lips then gestured to knee miming it healing before touching her throat as well once again miming it healing. She pointed to him signing master before pointing to her eye teeth to symbolize vampire and then a question.

Teela laughed this time and shook her head slowly she pointed to his mouth then tapped her eyetooth and then touched the scars on the side of her neck almost invisible if one didn't look closely. She was asking if he was a vampire.

Teela smiled but shook her head carefully using her nail she made a small wound on her wrist. When the blood had welled up she licked it up and watched for her new masters reaction as her knee injury began to fade and then disappear. Her other bruises also faded until her skin was clear. Slowly she mimed that she had been a slave for a long time and had traded blood many times with her previous masters until she could use her own blood to heal herself whenever she was injured. She smiled. "Sorry I am so used to miming that even when my voice is well and healed I naturally do it. It is a defense mechanism." She explained her voice no longer hoarse. Her voice however was more alluring and musical than a vampires and she flinched apologetically.

Teela's face fell. She has displeased him already. Looking at the wound she was not surprised it had already healed. Silently she moved to the middle of the bed and curled into herself not sure of what to any longer. He was neither interested nor curious about her therefore she was with a master that had no need of her. Tears pricked her eyes at the thought of not being needed and she buried her face in the pillows emptying her mind to escape her insecurity. Shuddering she rose again and retreated to a dark corner sitting down and once again curling into herself taking comfort in the darkness.

At his words Teela's head snapped up as anger set her eyes a blaze with fury. With a sweep shee kicked out her leg and slammed her shin into the back of his knees before she stood over him. "And only a coward would buy a slave and never have any use for her!! Only a coward would look at her with such disinterest and only a FOOLISH COWARD would believe that she would be a WEAK LITTLE GIRL after being BORN and RAISED in the slave trade. You may have fought in a war between two but I have fought between one and eternity. Remember that the next time you want to stand over me and treat me like a child." She hissed. She turned storming from the room yelling, "I have lain men with more honor!!!! At least THEY accepted what I am!!!" She slammed the back door as she walked out and sat down fuming only then to notice the two dogs. She became perfectly still and merely extended the back of her hand cautiusly.
