I need this community, and I need you guys. I've been feeling like s**t and less like RPing because of all this stuff.

First off, may I say that I am -extremely- pissed off that someone deleted the Black List. You better how just moved it to the damn VIP Lounge, because I've been working on reading that for a -long- a** time. I made it to page 50 the other night. There's fond memories in there, for me. I don't care if you lock it. Don't delete it. You delete it, I will end you.

Next, I'm going to say something that really needs to be said, and it pertains to much more than just whatever the ******** exploded in the Blacklist.

The Guild Management has the final say on what happens to titles. Not the holders, not the storyline members in it. The Guild Management is the final yes, and without it, you're not going anywhere. This is the reason so many guilds have popped up over the past couple of years, and why I run mine with a real relaxed eye on the titles. But mainstream guilds do their thing, their own way.

To address the real issue, if Chrono halted the storyline while Jed gave it the go, then that's on him. He didn't have the right to do that. But if none of the management gave it a guaranteed "Yes, this will happen," he's not ******** you over. Because you didn't have any more confirmation than Angel's "hey, let's do this." I don't know the entire situation, and this is not a thread giving you the opportunity to pour your heart out about how great it was, or how you had to stop it from happening. That's for you to settle with the Guild Management.

This has been an ongoing problem for years. In fact, the Angered Alliance only started because Joey and I couldn't get our storyline ideas cleared anywhere we went, so we basically went on strike until we found a guild that would usher in our ideas (big kudos to King back then). FG's tag titles isn't the first storyline to be "******** over," and it sure as hell won't be the last. I'm going to tell you like Jed told me back in the day, in much less words.

Compromise, or get the ******** over it.

Sorry to be blunt, but it's true. If you can't compromise with Management, take your storyline elsewhere. I know it wouldn't have worked in this case, but it will in just about every other. Management runs the guild -with- the roster. If the roster tries to run the place without the Management, it will be ruined. If Management tries to run without a good/happy roster, then the guild will die.

What this boils down to is something we -all- have been preaching, but no one wants to actually do it. ******** work with your fellow RPer. You can say "Oh I just wanna leave, this is bullshit, I hate it here," but guess what? As much as we all think it's a shithole and it's toxic, we're all still here. We either give a ******** about eachother (Yeah, even Chrono) and want it to survive, or we're all masochistic. You decide. Personally, I come back here because despite how much I hate most of you, I love you guys. Now shut the ******** up, pick up the shattered pieces, compromise and make a new goddamn storyline.

And give me back my goddamn Blacklist.

And I can sympathize being frustrated; I'm there with you on that. However, rather than dragging it out for all to see, wouldn't it be better to just send a message?

Yeah, it definitely would be (although I still see no resolution happening). Perhaps it was ego trying to convey my emotions to the community, but I still can't let things go unnoticed if they continue.

Huh... Gone for 3 hours and I come back to read probably the most wonderful news I've seen on Gaia in a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time.

NO MORE BLACKLIST!! Yay!!!

It's odd cause I was just thinking about this the other day. How the Blacklist has this unseen negative effect on this community as whole. It's like the Oil rigging term, "Seepage". For example like Oil, the Blacklist seemed to be a substance everyone of us has found useful at one point, either it be to let the community know you who the next troll is [Killa-Mo], or even for a good friendly chuckle at the expense of our friends. However if we take a step back from looking at the immediate effects of what the Blacklist was capable of, we see that through it has it's uses, it is in fact very bad for us.

Like Oil, once used it negatively effects someone, or something, or both. Through the effects aren't instantaneous, if we look hard enough we see that the fumes from the of the Blacklist does leave this "Toxic" aftermath. It slowly eats away at our oxygen, slowly I mean slowly, takes away all the good air to breathe. Those negative fumes eat away at all the good things that help this community breathe. These fumes seep into nearly everything we do here, rather you want to admit it or not, or don't even realize it. The Blacklist's fumes do spoil the fun.

I mean if you think about it, when we first posted the blacklist it was literally a place we could go to say.. "Hey... don't work with this guy." Or... "Hey this guy is not good at this I'd stay away from him." Or even... "This storyline sucked."

WE as a community willing allowed ourselves to openly bash other's characters, storylines, management technics, and even our own personal lives. That what the blacklist was for to black ball anything, and I MEAN ANYTHING we didn't like.

WE are all to blame, WE willingly allowed this community to seemingly rip itself apart, and WE seemingly want to keep it like it is, cause from what I've seen NO ONE wants to move pass the bullshit, the bashing, and the whining.

Hopefully with Harli, or whoever made this decision to do away with the blacklist is the first step in the right direction.

... Fine, keep my Blacklist locked. But move it back out so I can continue reading, I enjoy the memories. emo
