Need Heart Scales? X/Y

I found a semi fast and easy way to obtain them.

First get a pokemon with Frisk. Teach it thief.

Next get the Old Rod from the fisherman in the aquarium.

Then leave the aquarium out the lower floor and go out by the ocean. Use the Old Rod and you will always run into Luvdisc. They have a 50/50% chance of holding a Heart Scale and Frisk will let you know if it is holding one.

This is the fastest way i know how to obtain a Heart Scale. Im sure some of you know about this but for those who dont I hope it helps.

Here is a list of Pokemon with Frisk that can learn thief:
- Shuppet
- Bannette
- Gothita
- Gothorita
- Gothitelle
- Phantump
- Trevenant
- Pumpkaboo
- Gourgeist
- Noibat
- Noivern

Frisk as a hidden ability:
- Sentret
- Furret
- Yanma
- Yanmega
- Duskull
- Dusclops
- Dusknoir

After using Game Sync, I just buy all my heart scales from GL. It's a lot easier, and more passive, IMO. After a bunch of trades it easy to get 1-2k miles and just trade for 10-20 scales.

Yeah. I guess this works for people who can't get GL set up or for some other reason.
