Hobsession definition: A hobby that has become an obsession.
Quote:
You have to be always drunk. That's all there is to it--it's the only way. So as not to feel the horrible burden of time that breaks your back and bends you to the earth, you have to be continually drunk. But on what?Wine, poetry or virtue, as you wish. But be drunk. And if sometimes, on the steps of a palace or the green grass of a ditch, in the mournful solitude of your room, you wake again, drunkenness already diminishing or gone, ask the wind, the wave, the star, the bird, the clock, everything that is flying, everything that is groaning, everything that is rolling, everything that is singing, everything that is speaking. . .ask what time it is and wind, wave, star, bird, clock will answer you:"It is time to be drunk! So as not to be the martyred slaves of time, be drunk, be continually drunk! On wine, on poetry or on virtue as you wish."

Haha, unfortunately studying has taken priority stare After the 18th I'm going to start playing piano like a psycho! I guess my actual hobby would be acquiring new talents and self-improvement.
Isn't that what we live for, though: to improve? This thread is for rambling on about specific stepping stones to reach that goal.
For instance, my current hobsession is herbs. I bought some books yesternight: one is titled Herbal Medicine and the other is Aromatherapy. It's amazing what you can do with the senses! I'd also like to find books on Taoism and Buddhism. Hope that will be soon. *overly inquisitive*

Well. Piano! I'm currently learning this song [link] It's epic! Have any ideas of cool songs like this that I should learn?

Can I build mechanical extensions like dr octopus? No. No, don't fall for her schemes to lure you into attempting the impossible for her amusement. Sneaky...
It's actually a field I'm quite interested in, bio-mechanics, that's why I'm going to study BSc Molecular and Biotechnology after Engineering. Cyborg wooh! No I'm not weird. Leave me alone. sweatdrop
A hobsession? I think music and writing (novels, short stories, songs, and poems) are a given. Others would be my religious (Taoist and Buddhist) studies, painting, meditation, tai chi, and creating fictional things for RPs and my writing (the latest being something called 'biological wax'). I'm pretty obsessed with all of those.
