20 + 20 (familiarity) +10 (drakein) - 5 (Drakien) - 30 (capture bonus) = 25 Failed.
Construction on the house had been moving smoothly over the course of the past few weeks. Just as previously predicted, Erionda felt entirely at home on the snowy lands of Aisko. The temperature was easier to handle than the over heating sands of Eowyn. If she felt cold, she could always find more clothes. Or cuddle close to Kilian. On Eowyn there was little she could do to escape the heat. Even worse, her magic was weaker in the heat. Firani, while rare, were everywhere when there were no Kiandri. Even though Aiskala and Peisio dragons ran free here. They didn't seem as common as the other species of dragons weaker than them.
She felt the tug of Lanzecki's shivers. The Kiendred didn't find it as easy as she did to survive on the frozen continent. Trembling he followed her. She had given him the chance to stay behind at home. Where a fire rolled in the chimney. Where he could stay behind and help with the work of a heated barn. Erionda paused as pair of Hastar came into view. Smiling Erionda pulled closer. The first had taken off at Erionda's approach. The hybrid wondered if it was because of her presence the first had disappeared. She felt the familiar trickle of magic along her arms.
Drawing within range of the Aisko Hastar Erionda raised her arms. Her freezing magic leaping to life as the creature came in for an attack. Blocking the fist of the hooves that collided with her defense. Erionda shifted her stance and tried again. These were aggressive creatures. Nothing like the first hastar she had tamed. Was there even a way to tame these wild ones? She hadn't yet seen a tamed Aisko Hastar. Perhaps it was an impossible task.
