((Open RP. Remove, hope you don't mind her moving your cub down X3; ))
She'd expected more time, to be honest, before her two sons were born. Time enough to make her visit atleast. But who was Rahima to argue with Fate? Ewansiha and Nogea were born already - currently groomed from top to tail and hidden in a little grassed over ditch. As a mother, she hadn't felt right about leaving them up on the mountain border alone.
The red female sat before this little den, thankful that they were still young enough to be tired from the journey down. If she could just spot Ithi...or even Laana or Denge, who both knew her...maybe she could see this Maji before they woke up. Maybe she should go find him herself but it seemed rude, since she and her family were already trespassing.

Ithibati hadn't been too far from Rahima, she never went too far anyway. The place wasn't that big and to be honest Ithi was worried about the two cubs. Trotting back towards teh den where the cubs were born she saw the femme and smiled, bowing her head a little. "Heya!" She chuckled before trotting over to see her friend.

"Ithi." Relief spread through the elder female and showed itself in a smile. The gods only knew why she was so nervous. It wasn't as if this place were ruled by a tryant. Just, she'd had word of Nyekunudu...
"My dear." She nudged Ithibati's shoulder. "Would you please take me to see the Mistweavers today?"

Ithi smiled and gave the red femme a nod. "Yes follow me." She then turned and head back into the trees and all the wonders of the land. It was time that Rahima and Maji met.

Pausing to check on her young ones one lat time, Rahima followed her friend swiftly. Hopefully this Maji wouldn't hold Nyek against them. Oh please...
"Thankyou Ithi"

Ithi smiled and nodded before leading the red lioness further into the misty lands and up to Majis cave. Scents and things told her that he was either in or had been recently. She sat outside and called out softly, "Maji, may I speak with you?" She didn't want to anger him, that wouldn't be clever.

The lion had been sleeping for once, laying gracefully along the plush moss-covered ground of his private cave. It was rare for anyone to catch him sleeping, he didn't seem to enjoy it all that much with so much to do, so many prayers to offer to the gods, and so many new additions to the pride to get to know but he was mortal afterall and entitled to a nap now and then.
Thankfully, he was a light sleeper. Ithil's voice stirred him well enough from his slumber. He rolled himself to lay on his belly rather than his side, his mouth parting to let loose a slow yawn. "Yes just one moment, Ithi." He said sleepily, getting to his paws and moving to the side of the small pond that sat in the middle of his room. Call it vanity or call it simply trying to look the part, but he wouldn't be seen with a mild case of bed-head. He took a moment to comb his mane out a bit with his claws, yawning out the last bits of sleep. "Alright, you may enter."

While she waited for Ithi to enter the cave - she'd follow, she reckoned - Rahima offered a swift silent prayer to any gods that might be listening. All she wanted was permission to stay a while, sanctuary, that's all...Ithibati had suggested actually joining the pride but that was too much to hope for, surely.
Or perhaps she should go in at the same time as Ithi. Oh, who knew, Rahima had no idea how formal or informal she should be. She felt like a cub taken to watch a hunt for the first time.

Ithi smiled as she heard Maji's voice and then he said to enter. "Rahima follow me, let me talk first, then you ok? Maji is nice, oh and do your best not to mention your disowned son." She whispered to the red lioness before bowing her head and entering the cave.
She walked slowly to begin with, letting her eyes adjust to the cave but it didn't take too long before she was standing infront of Maji. "I am sorry for disturbing you, this is my friend, Rahima. She wishes to talk to you about joining the pride." Ithi knew Rahima well enough that she wouldn't just ask to join, so Ithi made sure that she would, after all, Ithi wasn't letting Rahima go wandering with new born cubs!

((Sorry -_-; I've just been really busy lately both on and off of gaia. Family issues, work issues, and the like. I'll try to hurry it up for you Edit.)) Maji sat himself upright, his back curved gracefully down to his haunches, his head lifted up proudly, and a faint but gentle smile upon his maw. He still had a few issues with Ithi but the lioness had shown some improvement recently. Perhaps he was too uptight over the whole situation, misunderstanding happeend all the time... of coruse he was till worried for Laana. Perhaps he would check on her later on that day.
"Another entry?", he said with mild interest, "Well then, it seems that our small family is expanding. Show her in if you may."

Ithi nodded and ran back to drag Rahima in towards Maji. She smiled and bowed her head to Maji. "Rahima, I will leave this to you, I feel that its your place to do this not mine." She nuzzled the red femme and left the cave sitting outside where she would wait for her crimson friend.

((No worries Thal. Just hope things get better for you.))
"Thankyou, dearheart" She nudged the grey female before walking into the cave. Oh Ithi! Such a dear soul but that just made this a little harder...the crimson lioness didn't wish to impose upon this peaceful pride.
"Maji." She used his name as a greeting, it showed in the tone of her voice. Rahima bowed her head briefly, ears flicking back slightly. Her worries manifested themselves in holding herself more gracefully than normal and trying to be on her best behaviour.
"...I'm Rahima - not of the Firekin, by the by." She offered a small smile. Hopefully obvious. It had been a long while since she'd seen Teleka and had lost any scent of that pride that may have clung. All she smelt like now was of the den, her cubs and perhaps of Ithi. As for her father - he'd quit the Firekin before he ever met her mother so he didn't count.

He smiled as the newcomer came into his room to meet him, bowing his head slightly as a polite greeting to her. He'd never seen a red-pelted lion before, it was a bit unerving to see one at the very least but she had assured him that she was none of the firekin, whom he'd only been able to hear bits and pieces about through the wondering rogues that seemed to have begun migrating into the lands. "A pleasure to meet you, madam." He said softly, lifting his head up, "To what do I owe the pleasure of your interest in these lands if you don't mind my asking?"
He lifted a paw to fix a bit of mane from falling into his face again, "You are, of course, welcome here, but it's always nice to learn of how the outside world has come to know of this once forsaken place."
