Minor Circuit Bout: Unranked: El Temblor Verde VS Rank 500: El Fregar Menta
*As the intense light fades, your eyes begin to adjust the more subtle details of your surroundings. The feeling is a bit disorienting at first, like suddenly being woken up from a dream and remembering you're somewhere else. The smell of limes or apples is much more pronounced. You hear people are speaking a different language. With each passing word, the Magical Language Barrier filters perception to make it understandable. You feel an intense humidity and heat, like a tropical environment. Finally: you notice that you are standing in a marketplace. You have successfully arrived in the matriarchal land of feathered thunder: Pluma de Relámpago.
The marketplace has appears to be made out of a smooth stone arrangement. The buildings seem to be made of the same type of stone, yet cut and arranged differently. They resemble miniature temples. Lining the arcade shopping arcade are various decorations. Piñatas and streamers line the street lamps. Men and boys everywhere dressed sandals and shorts are buying merchandise and treats in preparation for something. There are even a few women wandering about. The difference in social status is much more apparent here. Minimalistic attire vs exquisite gowns and dresses*

Whew...my temperature gauges show that it's a whole lot hotter here than where we were. Good thing I have cooling systems.

 *Berkana appears, and she almost trips.* "Honestly, who thought heels were a good idea? I'd totally wear slippers if I could get away with it..." *she looks around.* "So this is it." *she looks around, enjoying the festive atmosphere.*

As Jien materializes, he finds himself floating above a small boy, who stares up at him in wonder.
[[Hello?]]
The boy grins and shouts a few words to two other children who gather around Jien. He points up at the floating metal man and shouts, "Pinata!!!"
[[Pin...is...that some word for...metal? I have not offended you, have I small human boy?]]
"Pinata! Pinata! Pinata!" All three of the children begin cheering the word. Jien is unsure of what to do, so he joins in chanting the word.
[[P...Pinata....Pinata! Pinata! Pinata!]]
After chanting the word for a bit, the three children pull out sticks and begin thwacking the ever loving crap out of Jien...but since he is a robot...and sticks are hardly a threat, he simply floats and watches the assault with curiostiy.

Very slowly Sara became aware of her surroundings. They were in a marketplace. It was hotter here than in Gaia Prime but Sara but a bit too in awe to notice it...okay that was a lie. Sara noticed it but she was trying to ignore it. "Are you okay Dendrobis?" Sara asked. Hopefully her froggy robo friend had enough coolant in her system to prevent overheating.
Shadow was looking around and smelling the citrusy air. It was nice and warm here and it smelt good. Shadow was not going to want to leave for a while.
Rather quickly the sound of the phrase "Piñata" caught both Sara's and Shadow's ears. Shadow thought it was a funny game. Sara's eyes widened. "Oh dear!"

Makes sense…what Dendrobis just related. With all of the random battles that Kyrie witnessed in the past, she was surprised that someone of even higher authority wasn’t trying to shut the area off from the public all together!
Kyrie chuckled quietly. “I appreciate your concern, but I promise…I am fine with going.” She said rather honestly, thankful for Berkana’s concern. “And you are most correct. Life is about experiencing the world, and growing from the experience.” She then hides her smirks and muffled giggles behind her fan as her friend insists that the pins are safe to use.
When the teleportation effect takes place, the dragoness first attempts to shade her eyes before fully shutting them! “Ooh!” She gasps, only to start fanning herself again to help cool down a bit as the temperature starts to heat up. Mmm...fresh-cut fruit. Ok…maybe Kyrie could snack on a bit of that…
Her lush lashes flutter as the dragoness blinks for a moment before opening her emerald eyes fully. It almost felt like the dream walks she had been taking as of late…wondered if this had all been a dream to begin with. No no…you woke up and purposely went out. No dreaming walking today. Oh…she hadn’t felt such humidity since…well, in several years to say the least. She fans herself some more. “It takes time and practice to walk in heals on such terrain, my dear.” Kyrie says to Berkana with an all knowing smirk.
Her eyes then widen as Jien is suddenly accosted by a handful of small children. “Oh my! I am not sure if piñata is meant to be a good thing or a bad thing…!”

 Wagner slowly opened his squinting eyes at the new scene before him. Despite his propensity to ingest copious amounts of normally hazardous substances without batting an eyelid, the brief disorientation from the transporting light was enough to make him quite queezy, and the alchemist tottered to the side a little as his senses quickly tried to compute the change in scenery and atmosphere. What he could tell at least was that his surroundings were now quite warm, a pleasant sort of warm, and he could smell unmistakable whiffs of citrus and ascorbic acid from the fruits. During the whole process, Wagner's parasitic head had ducked back into his body, mostly to hide from the light, but now Wagner thought on it, it was a really quite good idea. Not giving these strange new people who he had no knowledge of in any shape or form the idea that he was in fact some kind of horrendous tentacle creature was now quite high on his priorities. Though even his nausea and identity concerns couldn't keep the curious alchemist from marvelling at the vibrant surroundings "Goodness, what a wonderfully strange place. I dare say I've not seen the like before"

*A nearby vendor notices the party and calls out to them.*  "¡Buenos días! ¿Would you like to buy a limanzana? ¿Or perhaps a limanzana empanada? ¿Or maybe just a café? ¡Please, don't be shy!"*He has a booth labelled Limanzanas de Alberto. On display are several plates holding slices of a strange fruit. It's lime green on the outside with the insides are segmented like a citrus fruit. At the center is a core resembling an apple's. Though segmented, the "meat" of the fruit looks more substantial than a normal citrus fruit, like a middle ground between and apple and a lime. It has a strong fragrance. It's the same smell that everyone was drawn to on the way here. Next to it are pastries that look like a middle ground between a freshly-baked apple pie and fried dough. In the back is a vat of cider labeled Citdra (18+). The pastries are freshly made, and resembles a middle-ground between an apple pie and fried dough.*

She runs over to the man.* "¡¡¡CAFE GRANDE!!!" eek *she realizes she's yelling and steps back.* "...and one limanzana empanada. ¿...por favor?" sweatdrop

The dragoness peered over towards the booth, piercing her lips to keep herself from drooling. It all smelled and looked quite lovely, but oh! She didn’t bring her change purse! Then again…she probably didn’t have any currency that was accepted in this part of the world! Her fan hid the subtle pout on her lips as she leaned back…taking in a long whiff of air, to at least enjoy the aroma. “It smells quite lovely, sir.” She admitted politely, or…at least as politely as one could be without being able to purchase such treats!
But OH! Berkana's enthusiasm made Kyrie chuckle to herself! heart

crying Argh! If only I could consume food substances. I will have to settle for the lovely aromas in the air...although...hmmm...my systems are able to process fluid...

Yeah! I should be able to use some of that as coolant, why not. I'll take the biggest mug of it you'll sell me.

Jien floats over to the vendor. The children continue to amuse themselves by prodding at him, and thwacking him with their sticks, but it doesn't bother him in the slightest. He addresses the vendor.
[[I apologize, however, I already own a cafe, and so I will not need to purchase one from you today sir. And as I am robotic, I lack the capacity to consume food...though perhaps like my friend Dendrobis, I might try to filter one of your liquids. I will not be able to taste it, however I am certain it will have a pleasing effect on my systems.]]

Sara looked over at the vendor and immediately spotted the pastries. Oh my goodness they smelled delicious. Shadow thought so as well because he flew over to the vendor intending to beg for some. "Shadow!" Sara called out to him afraid he was going to steal one of the baked goods.
Unknowingly, Sara was wondering the same thing as Kyrie. How were they going to pay for these goods. Sara had money but she didn't think it was the correct form of currency. And Poor Jien was being hit with sticks! Sara probably should tell the kids that Jien didn't have any candy inside of him.

Wagner seemed interested in the cider (and also partially in the strange hat of the colourful gentleman). He didn't generally go for alcohol as a drink, but ever the curios chemist he wondered what process these people used to make such substances. He turned to Berkana who appeared to know very much what she was doing "Does this country use the same currency as the rest of Gaia? I'm curious" he enquired "If not... do you think they'd take synthetic diamond?" he continued to ponder, demonstrating his rather gross misconception of equivalent monetary value.

*the man bows to the woman in the púrpura makeup.* "Mi Abuelita Smith taught me all there is to know about limanzana confections. To see a lady like you praise someone like me...I'm truly honored. Please. I must insist that you try one of these items, on the house. It would bring me great joy to do so." *He takes a few steps back as the crazed mujer gets up all up in his business. Then relaxes as she does.* "S..si. Por favor, disfrute." sweatdrop *he hands the woman her caffeinated beverage and confection.* *He hears a voice, but looks down to the frog.* "¿La rana? I thought I heard someone request the largest Citdra I can offer....but...well, I shall oblige them for when they return." *He pulls a gigantic mug labeled 3L on it. He steps up on a stool and pours four 500 ml bottles of Citdra into it, and puts an extra long straw in it. He thought he heard that frog talk, though it was probably just the heat getting to him again. For some reason it seems like a good idea to put a straw in though.* *As he finishes, he sees a talking piñata.* "Perdon...Señior Piñata. No. ¿Piñor....?" *He wasn't sure what to call this...person. That municipality-like name is the best he could come up with on short notice. " *He sighs, doing the same thing for the piñata man. That's ten bottles of his finest Citra. At least it'll pay well.* "Aquí tienes." *he offers the beverages to the "thirsty" patrons.* *He overhears the sickly gentleman, and decides to pour him a regular glass. He pulls holds the bottle several feet above the glass, pouring it slowly, then hands it to him and says.* "¿Oro? I can accept that I suppose. However...¿might I ask for a bit of those diamantes as well?" *The man seems a bit disappointed.* "Please remember the name Alberto. I strive to be the most well known limanzana proveedor in all of Pluma de Relámpago."*he notices the woman in black, and blinks.* "¡Oh mi! ¡You are Señorita Soto! Please, anything you order is free of charge. I'm looking forward to seeing Señor Ricardo Guante's newest Boxador. 'El Temblor Verde', ¿Es correcto ?"
