2. Please post only in character. Out of character comments may be made to me via PMs. Likewise, if you would like to drop off gifts or notes in a PM and allow me to post at my leisure, I very much encourage that.
3. If there is any way for you to approach me for RP in a different thread, or in AIM, or through some other medium, please do so. I far prefer for my diary to have posts of consolidated roleplays, rather than a post-by-post account as we go back and forth. You are, of course, more than welcome to use The Menagerie to do this.
4. If we roleplayed a scene and I have edited it to post in my diary, you are always welcome to copy and paste the portion you participated in to your own diary, rather than being forced to edit it yourself.
5. The only people welcome to post in this diary, humans and non=humans alike, are people I expect or hope Annora to regularly interact with. If you are not on this list, it is not a personal slight against you. It is merely that Annora either does not know you or does not expect to regularly interact with you. All invitations have roleplay somewhere backing them up. If you believe you should be a part of this list, contact me via PMs to discuss.

Looks: Annora has a sweet, heart-shaped face framed by soft silver-white hair and three fins - two at the side of her head and one at the top. Her fins are a turquoise-green, and can also be found beginning to spread along her arms. Her eyes are a deep indigo, and very wide. Her skin has darkened from a soft, pale blue into a much deeper azure. She has two silver markings - one on her cheek, and one on her opposite thigh. She favors bathing suits, loving to swim and almost never dry.

Soft blue skin. She is currently bald, with three fins on her head - one on the very top, similar to a mohawk, and one on either side, approximately where her ears would be. Her cheek has a soft, silver mark on it - birthmark, perhaps? She has deep indigo eyes, and a dark line along her forearms and legs.

A wooden harp. The Zephyr Harp is a form of travelling harp around 28" high and weighing approximately 4.5 lbs. The wood is old and worn, stained in some places and warped in others. There are no strings, although in the right light, the mind almost believes that they're there, nearly invisible.
Positive characteristics: Annora is cheerful abd vibrant, but rarely still or particularly quiet. She can make up games with only the slightest hint of inspiration, and although she's learning to entertain herself, she's very definitely a people-person, loving to cuddle or hug or otherwise show affection to anyone nearby she trusts.

She's a joy to raise - mostly quiet and undemanding. She seems, even at this early stage, to be eager-to-please. (I'm praying it lasts.)
Negative characteristics: Annora can be very loud at times, and very clingy. She's got a stubborn streak a mile wide, which has led Trio to adopt (as her mantra) something she first heard from Youkochylde, "I will not be outstubborned by my daughter!" Annora prefers to be the center of attention, and very often will demand to be in the spotlight.

Her crying, when it comes, is nearly painful. Granted, it doesn't come often, but...

Taste in books/music/etc: Annora likes listening to Trio stumble over the words to Fox in Socks, but her favorite thing to do involves singing with Trio - particularly any piece of music which mentions water, such as "Down in the Meadow".

Personality: Trio is usually cheerful and exciteable, and adores opening her home to new friends. She does have her darker moments, though she generally prefers to have them in private, disliking showing such things to others. Trio depends on the others in her household to help her out, and most of them do. Many of her companions look out for each other, although the occasional disagreements have sometimes resulted in rather strong tension.
Notes: She has many Gaians she cares for, but few ever penetrate far enough into her defenses to be truly and fully trusted. Even her closest friends do not know the full story of her past, and none have met her family, though it's obvious that she adores her fathers.

Personality: Formerly rather quiet, depressed and reserved, Shiro has recently discovered a wonderful reason to let out the effervescent, warm, outgoing personality he'd kept locked within. He loves people, loves music and loves the water.
History: Even Shiro himself doesn't quite know his full history, where he was born, or even his real name or who his parents were. Somewhere between the age of twenty-five and fifty, he lost his memory in an accident, and woke up in a flat, black land. He was found when he was still confused and frightened and taken to the demon realm, where he lived for fifty years. He escaped there and fled when he could to Gaia, where he has lived for the past century.

Personality: Etain is shy and quiet, but a happy child. She likes following her big sister Annora around, letting Annora lead the way and choose the games. With Annora at her side, Etain is usually not afraid to speak up or suggest things.
Notes: Etain's a very creative soul, and while she follows Annora around, at the same time she seems to have a lot of ideas that Annora never considers, and she's got a way of suggesting them that doesn't make Annora feel as though she's competing.

Personality: Makana is also shy and quiet, but she seems less inclined to follow others around and more inclined to help those in need. She particularly likes caring for and helping those much smaller than her, like her little kinoko Mouse.
Notes: Makana's gentle and caring, and seems fascinated by small animals.

Notes: Nico seems to have become the apple of Makana's eye. She adores him, and spends as much time as she can helping Shiro and Trio with him.

Relationship Status: Sort-of-involved with Kujaku
Personality: Kikuei is quiet and wary, and though he's grown a lot closer to Trio, he's still wary of losing another guardian the way he lost euphoric. He tends to be a bright, energetic soul when he's not being overly cautious.
Notes: Kikuei has caught the attention of Niyati, god of the past, and she's responded by ensuring that he grows much more slowly than normal. Although his mind is that of a teenager, his body is still that of a child.

 Annora recieved the Seraph in an Egg when she was very young, and it's taken quite a while to hatch. But now that it's hatched, Annora seems to like the idea of taking care of the Seraph within herself.  Shiromaru purchased these Feesh from an old friend, ChibiSchuldig. While Trio's surprised that Annora's not absolutely fascinated by them, their very presence seems to calm and relax Annora. Perhaps it is the taste of the world she never really knew?

The possessions displayed here are only her latest, or the ones important in this stage of her life.
This page for her belongings has been deleted thanks to an a*****e who hacked my site. I'll be rebuilding the collection as I can manage.
     
Trio got these toys from a Dream Realm celebration a while back. When Annora saw them, she wanted to play with them, and Trio couldn't resist.
Trio and Annora saw this adorable mp3 player while they were out shopping and couldn't resist purchasing it. It took a little longer to get it filled up with good music for Annora.
While in a charity shop, Trio discovered that one of the services offered was a custom tassle. Since Annora was so taken with playing with them, she decided to order one for Annora...
  
Trio visited the Black Party Ogre hosted, and came away with these three plushies that she thought Annora would enjoy snuggling.
 
These two Tahnee plushies have joined the army in the young girl's room. The purple boy was a special gift from Prolixity. Odd... they resemble a couple of members of Trio's household!
Tamtun sent over this beauty to swim in Annora's pond. It should be a wonderful pet for the little siren.
 
Annora played so much with her own tassle that we returned to order a few more to give to friends. At the same time, we also chose to order two more for her - one that reminded her of Etain, and one that reminded her of Keelan-fel.
Vashtya gave Annora this adorable little unicorn plushie.
Tamtun sent this pretty little egg to Annora for Christmas. Annora keeps returning to it and playing with it. Thank goodness it's unbreakable!
 
 
These wonderful items were given by Jaden, Talistan, and Naukhel from the Changeling shop as Christmas presents.
This adorable Leviathan plushie was given to me for my birthday by Gullien, since she knew that Annora would like it. biggrin
This pretty charm is something that Annora's taken a shine to. I suspect we may just see it in her hair soon enough.
Prolixity has discovered how much Annora likes jewelry, I think. When she opened the box from him, she discovered the lovely bracelet within.
Tamtun gave Annora this lovely little diary to post her thoughts in. I'm sure it will come in very handy over the next few months.
On a shopping spree for the various kids, Trio picked up balls for everyone. This "wave" ball seemed perfect for her little 'waterbaby'.
Annora helped to pick out these toiletries, and spent a surprising amount of time deliberating over the various soaps.
Annora's bed is so full of stuffed animals you can barely see the pillows and blanket...
Annora doesn't really spend a lot of time looking at books, but she likes the way the light looks against the walls when this lamp is on.
Trio picked up these charms for all her children, and this charm was Annora's.
Another journal for Annora to scribble in. Perhaps someday, she'll use one for a diary!
Trio thought that Annora would like a windchime, since she seemed to like them so much. She's been extremely protective of this one, shooing away anyone she thinks gets too close.
Trio picked up this charm bracelet for Annora from The Invisible Couch. The charms are:

Trio hung this right over Annora's bed, where it could properly catch her dreams.

Shiromaru - Water demon and Trio's next door neighbor. When he isn't over visiting, Annora's begging to go visit him.
Raighne & Ulare - Two of the Nereids down at Envy's pools. They've taken Annora under their fins and are guiding her.
Quellious - Visiting Quellious combines two of Annora's favorites - water and music.
Keelan-fel - Annora's fascinated by this young centaur. Although the two couldn't be more different, she's very comfortable around him.
Etain - Annora loves singing to her, and Etain seems to love listening. A match made in heaven.
Youkochylde - Annora met him first when she was very small, but she recently got to meet him again, and he won a friend for life by admiring her halloween costume.
Raven - This pretty teen paid attention to her and listened to her. Obviously, Raven MUST be a friend!
Saara - The little Fourth Wall sugar glider is cute and snuggly and Annora has already decided that she likes Saara very much.
Makana - Annora still isn't entirely sure what to think of the kitten that's taken over her home, but the fact that Makana doesn't seem as interested in being the center of attention certainly helps.
Kikuei - Annora's not quite sure what to make of him. He returned to Trio after apparently quite a while away (a lifetime, if you ask Annora!), and seems very skittish about everyone. And yet... he plays MUSIC!
Moss - Annora thinks Moss is rather cute. And he likes it when she sings! What more could she ask?
Alicorne - Alicorne was still too tiny to do much more than coo at Annora when they met, but Annora thinks she's awfully pretty.
