Mt. Ferros

Forming a border around the west and south sides of Armonia is a long mountain range known as Mt. Ferros. In truth, Mt. Ferros is a dormant volcano, known for its fertile red soil. It's also a primary source of ore for Armonia. Although it's been many years since the last eruption, that doesn't mean the inside of the volcano is any less dangerous -- Mt. Ferros is full of long, intricate caverns, with a temperature so hot that only Fire, Rock, and Ground Pokemon can navigate it without help. Other Pokemon must obtain a Vial of Water to withstand the heat for more than a few minutes. In an effort to encourage treasure hunters to bring in items for the Gracidea Trading Association, Kasimira has a special promotion going on at her shop, offering Vials of Water for free.

For this dungeon, you will roll for 15 rooms using a 20-sided die.

Freunde found herself at the foot of Mt. Ferros once more, not long after her original journey. She had her Vial of Water from her previous trip tucked safely away to use as she explored. She doubted she'd find a Moon Stone inside, but that was all right - there were lots of Pokemon to find, as well as many items to hopefully bring back for Kasimira. She had found quite a few items last time, but none of them had really sung out to her as proper payment for the first Vial of Water she had received.

Making sure her small satchel was ready to go, Freunde headed into a different cavern this time. She wanted to see all the mountain had to offer, and going the same way she had last time would certainly put a damper on that goal.

The slug, however, was not in a fighting mood, and belched one hot Ember in Freunde's direction. Getting the message, and narrowly avoiding being hit, the Nidorina grumbled and went on her way. Her adventure had just begun, of course, so finding and defeating three more Slugma was a possibility. She just wouldn't let it be a priority.

Zubat

As she walked, something dove at her from the ceiling. Freunde jumped out of the way as a Zubat flapped its wings rapidly to ascend again, screeching unpleasantly. Freunde covered her ears as the Pokemon turned and made another pass at her. She wasn't going to let the other creature get away with this torment! Pulling her hands from her ears, she placed all four feet on the ground and held her place, an intimidating snarl on her face.

Empty

Thankfully no other Pokemon showed up right away, and Freunde had a few minutes to collect herself. She knew she was strong, but the past two Pokemon were obviously stronger than she. She scowled at herself and kicked at a tiny pebble as she continued on, ashamed that she thought herself tough enough to beat anyone that crossed her path. Obviously she still had a lot of growing to do.

The Geodude was surprisingly quick, though, and got in a Rock Throw before she could even get ready for a Double Kick. The boulder came sailing at her and, with a surprise yelp, she turned tail and fled. This path obviously held higher level Pokemon than she was! Perhaps back tracking a bit would be a better idea...

The Zubat was quick, though. Another Confusion sent Freunde stumbling once again, and she laid on the ground for a while. This was horrible! She hadn't suffered so many losses in...forever! She had to be having a bad day. Picking herself up once the attack wore off, she went down a side tunnel to try to find some items for a change. All these Pokemon were really strong.
