The Destiny City Public Library was the most central location Pasiphae could think of, and that was the location from which she sent out a text message. She hated to do so, but if her encounters over the previous nights had taught her nothing else... it was that she could not defeat her dark double on her own. This would be the third night she fought. On the first night, she, Sessrumnir, and Melchior had survived, but her Shade had escaped. On the second night, she had only had to face Vespa's clone; the memory of the stings made her wince. Now... she was just jumpy about her own coming again. It had her strength. It had her powers. She could not face it alone.
All of the Jovians were included in her mass text, naturally... but she found herself including two more names. Leda. Chaldene. Why? Because... honestly, she was concerned. She had last seen Leda at DestinyCon and Chaldene... it had been even longer since she had seen him. The Shame Senshi knew that many were having trouble with doubles, and no one should have to face them alone. They might not even have monochrome versions of themselves - she didn't know. She just didn't know.
Not knowing was an agony in and of itself. She didn't know if her help was needed, she didn't know if anyone to whom she sent a message was in a position to come and assist themselves. But in moments of doubt, the best possible way of handling the situation was to reach out. Hopefully, the two of them would be well and could just go home - with a warning to stay aware, of course, just in case they somehow attain one. Pasiphae bit her lip and ran a finger under her left bracelet. She hoped someone would come soon.
As if in answer to her wish, she heard the clack of heels on the roof behind her. She prepared a smile and turned... to see herself smiling right back at her. There was no time to even get out a scream before a gloved hand clutched Pasiphae's throat and began to squeeze.

Horatio raced down the street and towards that energy that blazed like sun, even in the darkness. There were more than one on the way, but they all seemed to be heading in the same direction. A party? With that many play mates? Oh, she was so there!
Now she just had to figure out how to get to the top of the building. She had never tried rock climbing, and she doubted the library would really want her to dig her claws into their walls. She sat down and studied the obstacle, her tail flicking slightly as she tried to determine how to climb it. There was no doubt that she would climb it... just how easily and how quickly were in question.
Ganymede's response to the text message was immediate. She had already been out on patrol, scouring the streets less for monsters these days than for the clones that seemed to be wandering the darkness. She felt the vibrations of her Senshi phone before she could begin to wind down and consider calling it a night, quickly summoning it from its place in subspace to find Pasiphae's text waiting for her.
Ganymede turned just as quickly from one of her comfort zones around the campus of Destiny City University and headed toward the Public Library without another thought.
She'd already faced her clone again that night and bore evidence to the encounter: her train had been ripped off, leaving a small bit of ragged and frayed red fabric behind; her hose bore tears and rips as well, and her miniature top-hat was missing, her hair falling loose, somewhat tangled, her face bearing an expression of fatigue as sweat cooled along her brow. Somehow she had outrun the clone, hid from it, ducked down alleys and side-streets until it managed to lose her among the countless twists and turns of the city, though she didn't expect she'd avoid it for long.
Click-click-click went the high heels of her boots as she tore down the streets, putting an extra burst of speed into her steps when she thought of Pasiphae facing that sort of danger on her own. The Public Library was already in sight; Ganymede could feel familiar energy signatures drawing closer. And there at the base of the building sat a small cat with checkered fabric on its tail and goggles on its head. Hadn't she seen that cat somewhere before?
A rooftop came to mind, dancing there in her memories, and a group of terrified civilians, a ruthless Captain and a live-wire, but Ganymede forced the images away before she could dwell on them. What was done was done. Worse could have happened that night.
But she was sure the cat had been there. Did she know Pasiphae, too?
“You,” she said, and came to a stop. She paused to catch her breath and looked awkwardly down at the cat when she realized she didn't know her name. “Cat,” she said instead, but sounded guilty. “What are you doing here? Where's Pasiphae?”
The rooftop? Ganymede looked up but could not see beyond the edge.

What had started out as a routine patrol quickly went south at the appearance of both his and Ganymede’s clones. While he tried staying within a reasonable distance to her, their clones ended up pulling them in opposite directions and soon he was no longer able to determine Ganymede’s energy signal from any other Eternal. Not that there were many Eternals around that he could feel, but there was definitely one nearby.
Without the use of a phone, Valhalla didn’t realize there had been any call for the Jovians to meet up, and being separated from Ganymede didn’t help matters. Still, it wasn’t difficult to realize, even from several rooftops away that someone was in trouble.
From the distance he couldn’t tell who it was, but there seemed to be the faint aura of a clone nearby as well, and he was willing to help anyone fend those strange doubles off.
A beam of green light was shot across several roof tops, and Valhalla grimaced, knowing that his attack missed. It was a long shot, but hopefully the clone would know to back off…
More importantly, he hoped that someone else would get there before him to aid the senshi in trouble.

Chaldene wasn't exactly sure what was going on but a gathering sounded ok to him, he had nothing else going on aside from wandering about powered up. The text from Pasiphae was a surprise but not a bad one - just a simple surprise. It had been awhile since he'd seen the eternal senshi.
With his thoughts focused on her, and what this meeting would be about and who would be there, he headed in the direction of the city library. He was both nervous and excited; though more nervous than excited. It was as he drew closer that he started feeling various energy signatures - where these the others he would be meeting? More senshi like himself? He was terribly nervous, and it only got worse as he got closer, and he wondered where he would fit in with them all?
Also, and more disturbing he felt something dark...something negative. It wasn't like that General, thankfully, but it was still dark and he disliked it. It had him slowing in his approach to the library as he was hesitant and nervous - scared even. What was going on?
As he found himself, all too soon, in front of the library his green eyes went from a blond haired figure dressed in white, black, and red. At the senshi's, as it was most certainly a senshi, feet was a cat. No doubt that was a cat much like Sheena - a guardian cat.
After a moment he finally spoke up, though his voice came out with a shake and a certain amount of hesitancy. "Did you umm...get the text also? From Pasiphae?" Coming closer, moving to stand even with the blond haired senshi.

Leda jumped when she felt her SenshiPhone vibrate, which incurred a glancing blow from the low-hanging awning she stood beneath to catch her breath. After huffing in mild discontent, she finally withdrew the phone and looked over the text with mounting surprise. How long had it been since she first met Pasiphae? She was just a basic senshi then, completely lost and equally confused. But now... Pasiphae didn't know of her increase in power, did she? Leda suddenly smiled, uttering her own quiet exclamation of triumph as a fist shot into the air - once again glancing off the awning.
Once Leda finished cradling her hand to ease the throbbing pain, she carefully shuffled out from beneath the awning and took to the rooftops in hopes of navigating to the proper location. Leda vaguely remembered the route to the library, and even with her vantage point she couldn't readily spot it. Being in such open territory often led to feelings of unease, as she knew any opportunistic Negaverse officer could easily ambush her and deal a crippling blow. She knew, but she didn't - as she hadn't yet experienced such an occasion. And now with the advent of doubles, she found increasing trepidation in wandering across the edges of roofs, where she was easily visible to any onlooker thanks to her bright uniform.
A sudden beam of vibrant green light shot through the distance, and Leda gasped, stalling in her approach. With both hands plastered over her mouth, the skittish super senshi looked about herself for any other potential beams. Upon finding nothing, she stood stock still for several seconds, nearly stretching to a full minute, before she resumed her pursuit of the library. Inwardly she wondered if that beam originated from a shade, an officer, or worse.
Upon cresting a nearby home, Leda discovered a harrowing scene unfolding atop the library: Pasiphae, a figure she recognized immediately, wrapped her hands around Pasiphae's throat - and Leda understood with certainty that one was a double, but... How could she tell?
A cluster of power signatures grouped together near the base of the library, where she recognized one of their number with a modicum of relief. Still, her heart pounded in her chest for the urgency of the situation. Pasiphae now faced her double, and Leda stood awkwardly on the adjacent roof wondering what she could possibly do about it. With a hesitant whine, Leda finally descended to the ground and sprinted toward the collection of possible allies. Her hands gestured wildly as she approached, seemingly without rhyme or reason. "Everyone! Pasiphae's in trouble! On the roof! She's, um, fighting herself!" Now breathless, she huffed out the last of her answer before pointing emphatically toward the library rooftop.

Horatio's cheeks puffed out as she sucked in a breath, her tail lashing about to drag her checkered flag across the street. "I'm Horatio, not 'cat,' and even though I know you're an awesome winner because of that time with the Negacreep, we gotta work on your name remembering. I know you're Ganymede and... oh, oh Pasiphae? There's a lot of people coming, so it'll take a second but... hold on, I'll check."
That set up the Guardian Cat's game: identify the upcoming Senshi. The first to join besides Ganymede was a nervous little winner with a white and blue get up. It took a moment of intense concentration, but eventually she mewled, "Chaldene! Hi! No, I didn't get a text, but I don't usually carry my phone. I just felt a bunch of winners coming and--oh, oh, another one!"
The steampunk girl that appeared, breathless and speaking of Pasiphae fighting herself was familiar, and despite the dire circumstances the Himalayan waved a paw in greeting. It was the last jovial sign within her before her fur puffed up to attack size and her claws unsheather, "Thanks, Leda! That doesn't sound good at all, so let's get up there and break it up. ... and someone gimme a ride up because it's too long to climb!"

A flash of green light made Pasiphae's clone look over to the far roof. Its colorless eyes desperately sought out the source of the interference. The moment of distraction was enough for the struggling Senshi beneath the Shade to loosen the grip on her throat, and she half-choked, half-screamed, "P-Pasiphae Shameful Isolation!"
The familiar snap of bead and hum of the energy shield had never been more comforting than now. Safely within those maroon walls, the Eternal Senshi began to cough and suck in air, a gloved hand resting on her throat. The shield would not last long against the Shade that began to pound against it... but it would last long enough for her to regain her composure.

“Right, Horatio, sorry!” Ganymede quickly apologized. She felt mildly embarrassed by the correction but only showed it in the slightly harassed look that adorned her face. It was difficult to keep track of so many names under the best of circumstances; she thought she could be forgiven for not registering a name she would have heard on a night she didn't particularly enjoy thinking about, if she'd even heard it then at all.
She didn't have special cat senses, and was pretty much in the dark as to who the other two approaching Senshi were until Horatio picked up on their names. Then she felt relieved. They didn't exactly have the time for any awkward introductions.
Then again, she thought it was kind of awkward to be fighting alongside people she'd only just met, but it seemed they were all there for Pasiphae, and for Pasiphae she could deal with the moderate discomfort of trying to interact with people she'd only just met if it meant saving her friend.
Ganymede initially moved to give Horatio a lift, but thought better of it when she thought of those sharp little claws accidentally scratching and nicking at all the bare skin her fuku exposed. Instead, she nodded toward Chaldene, whose clothing provided extra cover.
“You mind giving the ca-- er... Horatio... a lift?” she asked.
Then it was a fast dash up to the roof, motioning for Leda and Chaldene to follow with Horatio and using what ledges and awnings she could find to support the jump. She landed on the rooftop feeling quite a bit more steady than was usual for her in battle (and quite a bit more steady than she probably looked in a ripped fuku with noticeable pieces missing). It didn't take more than a glance around the scene to take it in—Parisphae enclosed in her shield with her shade working hard to break through.
A part of her wanted to shout out to distract it, but words tended to fail her in situations when a friend was in danger. So she acted instead, and rushed toward the shade to throw was she knew was a very unskilled punch.
