Allan was dressed in his Bleach captain gear, which pretty much meant he looked the same as he usually did. He walked to the center of all the Sun Hunter assembled, while Simon stood directly opposite from Rep. "All right everyone, form a line, single file now! Your goal is simple, to use these," he pointed to a line of wooden sticks, which looked exactly like the ends of wooden brooms that had been sadly looped off their only useful side, "to make it rain candy. Everyone gets one try, no cheating now. The shinigami who makes the pinata burst with their power of Bankai will claim the Third Seat in the Sun Division and also get a month's supply Tofu Pocky!" He paused. "Don't be fooled by pinata-chan, she is a mighty rival, only the strongest attacks will break through!"
The Sun lead saluted. "Ganbatte! Shine strong in your kokoro and remember with the power of inner spirit and believing in yourself that you can break through all odds! May the passion of your kokoro burn strongly to outshine your foes!"
OOC
THE GREAT SUN CHALLENGE
- The rules are pretty simple, the person who breaks the pinata wins! Just follow the steps and go through with it! Break to the finish!
- All players must grab a wooden pole. When it is their turn, it Allan approaches them and playfully grabs a blindfold! Because it took him forever to learn how a pinata works, and he hasn't quite gotten the concept of it, he blindfolds you (when it is your turn) and then picks you up and spins you around by throwing you in the air so fast that you do multiple backflips. Thankfully he catches you with ease, though at this point it's a miracle if you can tell left from right.
gaia_crown [ Step 1]: Roll 1d20 to figure out how well you do while spinning. You only need to do this ONCE.
- If you roll 5 or under: You SEEM to know which direction is up. You groggily make it forward, and and Allan seems to be shouting something encouraging at you which probably means you're heading the right direction.
- If you roll 10 or under: You hear Allan's voice from somewhat far away. The area you're stepping in seems a little uneven, and you swear you just put your foot in on mud, or something extremely squishy - are you sure you're going the right direction?
- If you roll 20 or under: You are entirely lost. At some point you might have bumped into someone else in line, but you're not too sure. Is it just you or is this pinata shaped like a brick wall?
gaia_crown [ Step 2]: AVOID SIMON'S SHOTS. Again, Allan hasn't seemed to quite grasp the concept of pinata, and Simon doesn't seem too patient on that concept either. As you try to blindly grope around on your stick to find where the pinata is, Simon begins to shoot at you! Roll 1d20.
- If you roll 5 or under: It seems that you were lucky and only got a few warning shots! Either that or Simon found another target.
- If you roll 10 or under: Ouch! That really hurt! You feel something sting again and again - wow that is really distracting!
- If you roll 20 or under: Simon has designated you as his target practice dummy for the next thirty seconds as you experience what it is like to be a living pincushion. Thankfully they're only Fear bullets so no harm no foul - right. Maybe. It's hard to tell with that blindfold on.
gaia_crown [ STEP 3: ATTEMPT TO FIND AND HIT THE PINATA. Finally you are on the last step! Pull through with the last of your efforts! Roll 1d20 and once again match your dice roll to the results.
- If you roll 5 or under: Under some sort of miraculous fluke or luck, you manage to find something pole shaped, or rather, your "bat" hits something pole shaped. That must be it! The pinata! You manage to hit something, though its questionable whether or not that was a pinata or a tree.
- If you roll 10 or under: You're a little lost but no worries! You'll recover in no time, right? You search around for something before you feel the target with your pole! You did it! Congratulations, you just hit some other Hunter in line (feel free to quote any Hunter in line).
- If you roll 20 or under: You are entirely lost. You wander off into the distance, and by the time you figure you are lost, you have somehow made it all the way into the ocean where a bunch of mermaids apprehend you, and not the nice kind. You return with several bite, claw, and scratch marks, barely victorious.
gaia_crown [ STEP 4: ] TALLY YOUR RESULTS! At the end/ third post, make sure to TALLY your results and post a TOTAL AMOUNT. The lower the result, the better you did!
