Usually the first thing people see when coming to the island by boat is the tall mountain jutting from the land, then the jungle, then the sandy beach on the eastern side of the island bearing a single, wide dock stretching out into the ocean like a long wooden finger. It's very rudimentary, and looks like it was just built in not very long ago. The sound of the ocean rolling is constant, as is the noise of seagulls circling overhead. A few bundles of salted-over rope sit at the end of the dock, as well as a particularly large wooden crate with a hinged door latched tightly shut.
It's usually quiet around here, with low traffic, as boats are rare and usually at least a month or two in between each other. On particularly good days, it's a nice spot to go fishing.
