"Well, what do you think?" Isambard was feeling rather proud of himself. The residential blocks were well under way and in the town centre half the road of shops and businesses was complete. All he had to do now was rally the people, of course it would be first come first served. He would give them to those who sold essential goods and services first of course, then the others. There would still be space for a market for those who missed out.

Most of the shops were uniform, a front sales space, a back store room, small office and living space upstairs. There were a couple set up to be restaurants or bars. All good workers needed entertainment after all, some way to unwind and relax. He was stood in the centre of the reception room of a grander building, just off the main square. One had had designed for a specific purpose. There was a bar to its left, a hotel to the right and more shops and restaurants opposite.
“I know it’s not the Rose Garden but it will do for now.” It would have to do, until he grew in power and they were able to move on, to find a place to rebuild Albion. “Central, near other services.” he looked back at the petite, blonde djinn, waiting for her reaction.

Elora looked around the empty space. It was literally walls and floorboards, it smelled new, an odd sensation, she had been so used to the Rose Garden in its historic, beautiful building. This one was utilitarian, box like rooms, though it was certainly something she could work with.
“What do you think Cyrus?” She asked Isambard’s hulk of a right hand man.

Cyrus stood in the large front room and breathed in the scent of fresh paint and fresh cut wood. Letting his eyes roam the blank canvas, he did not answer Elora right away. He was not entirely sure why she was asking him his opinion.
"It's clean," he replied softly and shifted to fold his arms over his chest. "There's a lot of work to be done."

Elora smirked a little at Cyrus' rather obvious reply and nodded.
"Indeed, it will take a lot of work." She walked across the room, the silks of her rather lush skirts swishing on the bare floor. "I was rather hoping for something a bit more complete. I'm not an interior decorator."

Isambard snorted at her reply.
"Maybe not but you could have a trophy in shopping." he gestured to the finery she had managed to conjure up from the market. "Beggars cannot be choosers Elora, you have a building, a blank canvas. I want you to revive the Rose Garden, I am sure there are some women out there who would like to ply their trade in a reputable establishment." He grinned. "We need to put the word out, get people in these shops, build business up." He walked over to Elora and reached out to tuck his finger under her chin. "You, my dear have the perfect face for advertising." He said as he tilted her head back.

Elora smirked up at him.
"Pick up where it all left off then." She replied. "I'll need Cyrus' help to get this all up and running."

Cy's attention was drawn to his fellow djinn as the swish of her skirts echoed lightly through the room. He watched her a moment, then turned his eyes to his lord as he addressed her concerns. He understood his lord's thinking on reviving the Rose Garden, but he felt something within him bristle slightly as he made it clear that Elora was to return to her previous lifestyle. The intimate touch to her chin caused him to shift uncomfortably and look back to the blank walls.

"Why can't you hire out some help?" he frowned lightly to a knot in the wooden floor.

Elora stepped back from the god and walked over to her fellow djinn.
"You don't want to help me." She pouted as she slinked over to him. "And I thought we were friends."

"Of course he'll help you." Isambard answered for his henchman, turning to look at the two of them. "We get this place ready, we have a base of operations, somewhere for people who think they are something to go. People get comfortable and they want more."

Cyrus looked down at the whisper of silks that approached him and held her eyes. He could see the tease and pout within them and utterly ensnared by them. Of course he would be helping her, he just didn't want her to start thinking that he would come every time she called; even if, deep down inside, he knew that he would. Glancing briefly to Industry as he spoke for him, he breathed in deeply and nodded in agreement.
"We are friends," he said simply to her and held her eyes briefly before looking to the floor once more.

Elora bounced a little and clapped her hands together in delight.
"Excellent, the Rose Garden take two. Thank you my Lord, I will not let you down."

Isambard nodded. That was why he had chosen her, and Cyrus, Nisha, all those he surrounded himself with, they were loyal and he knew he could rely on them to help him achieve his vision, no matter what they had to do to achieve it. Djinn had a big weakness, luxury, riches and status. Cyrus was a bit of an odd one, he was unfailingly loyal. Elora however had to be watched.
"Good, Elora, anything you need is yours, get out there, make yourself known. You know the routine."

Cyrus watched Elora's excitement out of the corner of his eye and then looked to Isambard.
"Anything, my lord? I think you forget how dangerous that word can be when offered to Elora," he smirked lightly and looked back to her. "When would you like to get started?" he asked, directing the question to Elora.

Isambard laughed.
"That is very true, luckily she can only have everything within reason, anything this world can provide." He shoved his hands in his pockets and walked towards the door.

"Well right away I think, we'll need to procure some furniture and furnishings first I think." She had a vision of how she wanted things to be, however she was well aware it might be a bit of a mismatched paradise.

"I will leave you to get on, I have some other business I wish to take care of." The god replied, opening the door and stepping out onto the street.

Cyrus smirked at his lord's reply and turned to face him as he started towards the door. He was always a little torn when he wished to leave him behind. He did not much care to let him out of his sight, even now. Breathing in, he gave him a small smile and bow of his head. As the door clicked shut behind him, he turned back to Elora and suddenly felt awkward.
"Should... we head for the marketplace?"

Elora smiled at Cyrus and nodded.
"Yes, I think that would be an excellent place to start don't you? Perhaps we can find a carpenter or something to make some furniture, I'm not sure that's the kind of thing we are just going to find lying around." She thought a moment. "I might even work a little bit of magic, what do you think?"

Cyrus smirked lightly at her question and glanced around the empty space. Placing his hands together, he closed his eyes. He was a bit rusty, he realized, from not having used his powers in a long while. But it did not take long for him to feel the fires within him course through his veins. He opened his eyes and looked to Elora with a small smile on his lips. The colors of his eyes danced like flames and smoke began to fill the room. Within moments, he could just make out the outline of her through the cloud that swirled around them. In his mind's eye, he pictured the Rose Garden and all of its finery. With great effort, he pulled his hands apart and just as quickly as it had appeared, the smoke vanished.

The room around them was no longer a blank canvas. Rich fabrics draped from the walls and windows, furniture made of gleaming dark woods and luxurious cushions dotted the space, and all around the room were vases of roses. She had always kept fresh flowers in the house she had run and it had been a small touch that he had randomly appreciated. Though that was what made her so successful, her attentions to small details.

Looking around the room, he felt rather pleased with himself. It had been a long time since he had created something with his magic... too long, he decided. Though he had never really had anyone worth receiving his gifts before.

"What do you think that I think?" he smirked as he turned his eyes back to her.

Elora watched him with a grin, as he summoned the fire within him. She could feel it, the power and the warmth that eminated from him as he summoned the magic, she watched as the room turned from boring and plain to colourful and exactly how she liked it. Luxurious and sumptuous. She was djinn after all, life without shinies was no life at all.

"Perfect." She grinned, turning round to appreciate it all. "Why did I not think of this before, we can furnish it with magic, it will be a lot better than anything we could get from the ratty market, have you seen some of those homemade monstrosities they sell?"

Cyrus smirked as he watched her turn and appreciate his handiwork. He was glad that she seemed so happy with it. He had changed a few things, but only in a minor way. He had always thought the Rose Garden had needed a touch of masculinity, considering who the clientele mostly were.
"I have. I have them in my room as we speak," he smirked lightly. "What will you do for the girls' rooms?" he asked, his eyes drifting towards the back of the establishment.

"Well perhaps you should work a bit of magic on your own room." She replied, walking out of the comfortable reception room and through to the back where the staircase was to the next floor.
"I am thinking elegant, but not too over the top." She stopped at the first room and placed her hands together, she called the power of the flames within her and closed her eyes, slowly the room changed from empty to simply elegant, a double bed, dressing table, wardrobe, pretty wallpaper and furnishings. "Something like this."
