Another night and once the again the moon was blotted out in the sky. It had been mentioned on the human picture boxes, but Liryn hadn’t needed them to tell him that it wasn’t normal although he wasn’t sure what was causing it.

Just as he wasn’t sure where that fake-Liryn had come from or why it had decided to attack him the way it had, although fortunately two eternal senshi had come and helped him.

It was a shame that neither of them had been his senshi, but he guessed he couldn’t have everything.

And it seemed that he hadn’t been the only one to be attacked by a fake-them, there had been mentions on the human picture boxes about that as well.

It had given something else to occupy his mind in addition to his quest to find his senshi - after all finding out where all the grey-cast fake-people were coming from was something that Liryn would very much like to know, although not as much as wanted to find his senshi.

And with all these clones running around finding his senshi was something he needed to try and do as quickly as possible.

Liryn had been paused for a break when he sensed the senshi, the aura darker than the ones that he had so far encountered.

He didn't move as the senshi headed in his direction, instead looking up at the other with his purplish eyes as the red and black clad senshi crouched down.

"I'm a guardian cat" he agreed. "But you're not my senshi." He felt a bit of disappointment at that, that his search was still ongoing. Destiny City was big though and there was only so much that his four small paws could cover at any one time.

"I'm Liryn" given that the not-his-senshi was here, Liryn figured that he may as well introduce himself, adding as he figured he may as well ask "You wouldn't happen to know why the fake-people are running around?"

"Sure" Liryn wasn't about to turn down an ear scritching if one was on offer - he liked a good ear scritching.

His tail drooped a little at Tantalus' not nice comment as he gave a slight cat nod "They're mean" he agreed. "My not-me tried swipe me across the nose" his voice was a little indignant as he spoke, nose-swiping something that was beyond the pale in his book. "I just hope that my senshi isn't having to face theirs alone" for a moment his tail drooped a little further at the thought of his senshi being out there without him, especially with all the not people running around, but his voice was determined as he added. "But I'm going to keep looking until I find them."


He tilted his head to allow Tantalus better access should the other decided to go ahead with the offered ear-scritching as he said "It's nice to meet you though Sailor Tantalus," before adding curious "What sort of senshi are you?" The aura was dark - he knew that much, although not much beyond that.

Liryn purred a little as the dark senshi scritched behind his ears, content enough to sit for a little while - well at least as long as the scritches continued to be forthcoming.

"I was lucky that two eternal senshi helped me with mine" he said in response to Tantalus' comment about people not having to fight their Shades alone. "It didn't seem too interested at them, although it was upset that they kept interfering."

He didn't immediately answer Tantalus' question about specific senshi, but he did file away the other's comment about being a Dark Mirror away knowing that he would recognise the aura if he came across another such senshi, as he admitted "I don't really like Chaos much, but you seem okay for one who follows that path." And he knew how to give a good cat scritch too.

Eventually with a lazy wave of his tail he continued "And to answer your question about specific senshi - I don't know if other guardian cats have a specific senshi." His tail continued wave to and fro lazily as he added "But I have one." It wasn't something he could really explain, the certainty that he felt - it just was. "And they are somewhere out there." Purplish eyes looked further down the street. "I just have to find them."

"Yes I will" Liryn said in answer to Tantalus' query about knowing his senshi when he met him, before thoughtfully considering the second question. Apart from knowing that his senshi was out there somewhere and the certainty that he'd know his senshi when he saw him, Liryn had very little to do on - he didn't even know for sure what his senshi was the senshi off, although for some reason that he again couldn't explain there was a part of him that thought that it may have something to do with crafts.

And he'd actually only awoken a couple of senshi, Mizar and Naos, but chosing to awaken them had been something of a hunch on his part and he hadn't been able to tell that Mizar was the senshi of hummingbirds and Naos the senshi of liberty until their civilian counterparts had henshined up.

"I think it may be different" he said finally, "But I can't say for sure, I've not done that many awakenings." Okay something of an understatement - he'd only done two.

Well one awakening was less than the two Liryn had managed to do - but it was hard to say whether the two that he had under his paws truly made him any more experienced given that two was really not that very much in the scheme of things, but Liryn was optimistic that he'd pick things up.

At Tantalus' sigh he gave the dark mirror senshi a gentle headbutt, "It's okay" he said. "I know that if I keep searching and searching that I'll eventually find them and I'm not going to stop until I do."

He reluctantly shifted to his feet, reluctant because the scritching had been great, but knowing that he couldn't take too much time away from his search "And on that note I guess I should be off" after all Destiny City remained a big place and sitting and chatting, even with scritches included, wouldn't make him find his senshi any faster. "It's been nice talking to you though Tantalus, I wish you good luck with the not-people." After all even though his not-him seemed gone, there seemed to be quite a few others still running around.

His bit said, Liryn butted Tantalus again before turning, his mind on the next place to check as he trotted away down the street.
