'Share The Good News Until The LORD Comes!'

Greetings to the army of the Lord!

Every day we read of attacks on innocent women and children by people bent on destroying Christians and their friends. On nightly television news, we witness wars, earthquakes, floods, famine, and various viral epidemics around the globe.

Jesus talked about such things in the gospel of Luke chapter 21, verse 20. Which reads as follows from the King James version of The Holy Bible:
"And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh."
In the next several verses, the Lord gives us other examples of what to look for before Jesus returns for His bride.
Look at Luke 21:25 - "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Luke 21:26 Mens hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."

Before that time when Jesus again plants His feet on the Mount of Olives, there will be wholesale panic and devastation on the earth. The economics of the whole world will collaspe and the haters of Christ will run amok in the four corners of the world.
Listen to what the verse of Luke 21:28 states -"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."

Jesus will return in the clouds with great power and glory!!!

There is a wonderful song of hope for the family of God; a song of encouragement in the face of unfathomable heartache and anguish.
The song contains these words: Years of time have come and gone; Since I first hear it told, How my Jesus is coming back again. And if back then it seems so real, then I just can help but feel, How much closer His coming is today. Signs of the times are everywhere, And there's a brand new feeling in the air. So keep your eyes upon the Eastern sky, Lift up your head, Your redemption draweth nigh.

Let us work harder in the tempestuous days ahead and take advantage of every opportunity to share the promises and the provisions that God offers to those who trust and obey.
Time maybe running out on this old world.

Lord, we would ask you to draw us ever closer to your will and purpose. Enable and empower each of us to share the salvation message with boldness and a sense of urgency. May each of us bend every effort to bring praise and glory to the Lord!

This is a very interesting spiritual commentary, with a good usage of the scriptures to make your point in your subject.
If you do not mind sir, I would like to move this post out to the main forum floor for every one to veiw it and to respond as well if they choose too.
May the Lord bless you sir for being so up front and in touch spiritually with carring forth the Word of God.
Blessing be with you always,

Cool post Coop.
Ya think about what just happened today~ Mount Etna in Italy just blew it's top.
Yesterday on Friday which was early "Japan Time on Saturday" they had like a 8.9 earthquake again.
To which I am glad that I was home here in Jaxbch Fla when it happened and not over there on an assignment.
I mean there was a few small quakes that happened when I was over there last month, but nothing that major.

Plus ya look around almost every where in large city's and small towns, people are killing each other over nonsense.
If ya don't believe what the Bible says or ya don't believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life and realize that He is coming back soon; Then your either daft or have been living under a rock your entire life which still makes ya a loon in my book.

If ya don't know Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord, Savior and Redeemer; drop me a p.m. and we will talk about it and let you find your way home to heaven.

Christian Huggles Y'all!,

Shabbat Shalom. smile
Quote:
And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.

~Jeremiah 19:9, KJV

Read on, brother. Everything Yahushua told us, as well as His apostles, was quoted straight out of the OT. The Gospels hadn't been written yet - they were still living them. As we look back in the Torah that the Master was teaching, we find all of this.
And as John the Baptist said in John 1:23 (KJV),
Quote:
He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

But it wasn't anything new. As John mentioned, it was a quote from Isaiah 40:3 (KJV).
Quote:
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Now... desert and wilderness are used interchangeably here. In most instances, this is an inference to the lack of Yah's Word among the people.
Please read to get the full context. Test everything. I don't watch the news on t.v. anymore, and haven't in years. Too much politics and horsefeathers. But after being on the road for the past couple of years, I can tell you first hand that it's... not good...
Be ready. Be diligent. Be watchful. Be true to Yah...
Amein.
p.s.
If you get the chance, check out some of the earlier writings, like the peshitta and the dead sea scrolls... very... interesting...

Mister Cooper,
I found you're post to be most interesting, and jokingly speaking; I have to ask-have you been reading my sermonettes?
lol wink
We all seem to be on the same page on a lot of the same spiritual and scriptual view points.

All joking aside my brother in Christ. This is a very well thought out lesson plan and sermon that you shared with us all here and I thank you for that.
