Entering the large top floor Lab Voldo set his captains coat on the hook on the far wall. His zampactou wrapped like a mummy in a crimson sash on his back. Tussling his hair softly Voldo looked to the massive computer. "Computer interface, Access Archives. Cross reference all data logged with the word ZODIAC" the computer lit up and began rummaging through electronic files. Meanwhile Voldo walked over to the lab table and begun mixing and assembling a variety of liquids, powders, gels, and tools. The second squad was good at getting information but the 12th squad was even more skilled at getting to the innermost secrets of things. "

Returning from his battle Voldo enteres the massive room filled with technology each wall with computer screens and wires. He steps up to a massive computer as he sighs. Hopefully with Hakora behind him he would be able to assess which viruses did what damage and repair it. Its risky to just attempt healing not knowing severity. IF any of his organs failed there was no healing that and he would have to replace them with synthetic ones. "Computer! Please upload all data recorded from Squad two sector B and runn them through analysis. Then compile a simulation paired with individual personnel data files." the Computer flickers to life and with incredible speed starts scrolling binary code whilst several screens around the massive center one start flipping through video photage, forming personal data, and other things.

Hakora entered the room, still very irritated that the man attempted to grab his ear and ready to hurt him if he tried again. He say on the table. To say he felt sick was an understatement, but looking at him you wouldn't know. He watched the captain and then spoke to himself outloud. "How did they even enter here so easily? How is the cat zodiac still alive and who is he?... Wait a second.... The dog, oh wonderful. Captain did you secure his zanpaktuo? Is his weapon still here?!"

Eve had been mid-banana split when she received the hell butterfly notice so she decided to carry it with her and was taking a bite as she walked in "This had better be good." In reality she knew what it was probably about having sensed the pressures going down in squad two which she had not joined due to well, the very captain she was now in his office had been present and she found the fighting style of making your own comrades sick while you fight quite demoralizing and disrespectful. So she decided to ditch her group for a banana split. She had hoped when she arrived to find at least one of the beings they'd been engaging in present as after all this was research and development, but as she could see this was not the case. To allow such an escape to go down was unheard of. Where was Squad 6 at? She'd hoped not sulking from the loss of the mock battle and forgetting the duties. But anyways she continued to eat on her banana split while waiting for the others. After all, it would be such a shame to again waist a perfectly good banana split.

Voldo typed on the computer in fast tempos as he listened to Hakora. One could almost expect anger veins appearing in his forhead. " Pleas Captain Hakora lay on the table whilst me and Squad 4 examin the damage. Your lucky i managed to get you an autoimmune booster before you got infected. Hopefully the damages are not severe to the point of surgury"
He looks at the other Shinigami. "If you insist on eating sugary substances in my office ill ask you please do it over there where you wont make a mess in my lab. God only knows what damage it could cause"
Voldos powers though massively destructive were part of who he was. He was not going to appologize. He walked over to the operating table and waits for Hakora to lay down. He pulls down the overhead scanner. "If your damage is too severe i will have to operate. Im afraid that even a Captain of the 13 courts gaurd squad cannot regrow organs. I will have to replace them"

Hakora lifted an eyebrow at the demands of the captain. He wasn't use to being commanded, but Squad 12 members weren't known for their kindness. Though that wasn't fully true and in walked the exception. He wasn't close to Eve, maybe seen her once or twice a month and mostly small talk. Unlike her superior though, she actually cared for her comrades. This gave Hakora an idea. He spoke as he began to lie down. "so if I be a good boy, do I get ice cream as well?... Wait a second..."Hakora say back up with a jolt and induced some coughing. It could now be seen he was developing black bags under his eyes. The sickness was taking ahold of him, but his own immunity and willpower was slowing the process to a crawl. He went into recon mode as he felt a Reitsu pressure being flared. It wasn't combative though, more like a call to come. He jumped out of bed."looks like we don't get the luxury of rest, back to work."Hakora coughed again and then vanished heading for the sokuoku.

Eve couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at the rather comical way the squad 2 captain spoke as he laid on the table. She smiled and replied," Sure I'll take you out for some," then just as she took another bite she too sensed the presence of a familiar being. She didn't say anything but flash stepped out of squad 12 glad to be out of this aggravating place.

Sensing the same as everyone else he sighs and puts his captain cloak back on and follows suit. He had no intentions of fighting so he would observe. However Hakora would need serious surgery the longer he kept that illness. What ever viral agent infected him though gone did its damage. IT seemed to make some sort of autoimmune damage causing him to become severely ill. Sadly this would mean eventually in mabey months or years... his kidneys would fail and he would need immediate surgury. Thankfully he could make some sort of medication to give him a longer span of time before then.

Voldo Returned to his office with his new guest either there or shortly behind, either way he was already lost in though.. He flings his Captains Coat onto a Coat hanger which oddly seemed out of place in this highly technological office. With a snap of his finger all the Computers and screens turn on as well as the lights. He sighs and walks over to what looked like a surgery table and starts sorting through various items. "please take a seat here on the table. Its policy here at the lab to run basic tests on new people to make sure they don't carry any internal explosives, viral agents, yada yada. In the meantime you may talk about what ever you wish." weather said subject was in earshot or not was not on his mind.

As Xamthos arrived not far behind, he followed the Captain's instructions and sat hisself down on the table, looking for all the world like a kid (albeit a huge one) getting ready for a check up. Legs swinging gently and all. He understood the whole 'standard procedure' thing and since he had nothing to hide and was almost permanently in absolute perfect health, he wasn't worried.
"So, uh..." he started. Xamthos had never been very good at making small talk. "In case you didn't know, my name is Xamthos. I'm the Monkey Katena. Even though there's twelve of us that exist, there's only four others that you might meet. They are Raven, the Dragon, Faun, the Goat, Kiyoshi, the Dog, and Endou, the Horse. There's a thirteenth, the Cat Katena, but during the battle that ended with us being sealed away into the constellations, we were all led to believe he was slain. As I'm sure you noticed, it seems he was not. You already know what most of us look like, so distinguishing between us should be no issue." Xamthos figured he might as well start at the beginning, with the names and positions of the other Katena. If he was gonna tell everything, in his mind it would be best to start out with the simple stuff first and then work his way into the more complex and specific details.
As he sat there, Xamthos's tail was absentmindedly swishing not unlike the tail of a content cat, and the pair of ambidextrous hands that replaced his feet were, equally absentmindedly, flexing and wiggling with an uncannily fluid graceful ease.

Voldo listened to the boys explanation of the other members of the Katena as he sorted through needles and other tools. He took a tiny flashlight and examined the boy's eyes, tested his reflexes, the usual for a physical. He then pulls out a suringe and looks at Xamthos. "i need a sample of blood, if you dont mind."
So far the young man seemed very healthy. However there were countless tests that COULD be done. However he would stick to the general basics for the Head Captain's sake. He looked at the Computer and sighed. "Computer, please access file codenamed Katena and compare stats as they are inputed." the computer blinks a few times then starts flickering through dozens of binary files on the massive screen.

The brief exam barely phased Xamthos, but the part about needing blood drawn gave him pause. He was not at all afraid of needles, merely did not enjoy the idea of a metal tube being inserted into his arm for the purpose of removing some of his blood.
"Considering the fact that I don't exactly have a say in the matter, I appreciate the consideration," he said with a faint grin as he extended his arm and relaxed a bit. "By the by, when Raven came back from her ill-advised tussle with you and Captain Shinari, she seemed very ill indeed. Captain Shinari didn't seem to be in very good health either, leaving only you to be the cause via process of elimination. What'd you do that could have such a profound effect on both friend and foe alike?" the question was not accusing, far from it. It was almost reverent and certainty incredulous.

Whilst drawing blood he listened to Xamthos' words and a grim look fell upon his face and finaly was replaced with a smile of recognition. It was obvious to anyone through such eliminating factors that he was responsible. It still however took him offguard with the question.
"among the 13 captains I alone have a power which cares not for good, or evil, friend or foe. As you know our powers are based on the essence of our true selves." He paused bottling up the blood and running it through a scanner. "when i was alive i was a doctor. The world had been ravaged by war and disease. My heart ached seeing that no matter what we did as medical practitioners we could not save them. My powers are based on the suffering of the people who died without hope."
as the machines whirred and the screens flicked Voldo turned to face Xamthos. "among the seretei there is rumor that i am a sadistic captain who enjoys watching people suffer. Mainly spread by squad four medical devision. They have yet to find methods of curing my powers and even then damage done after it is sealed is often beyond repair by them and i myself must attempt to save people.... The 12th squad has a long history of sadists and crazy captains. But i however believe that science in the hopes of benefiting others is better than for the mere sake of knowledge"

Xamthos listened, almost feeling a little sorry for Captain Hiabara. At the end, he felt a compulsion to share something about himself in return.
"My own Zanpakutō, En'ō, would be classified by your standards as a constant-release melee-type Zanpakutō. He has no blade in either his Shikai nor his Bankai forms, and as you can see is naught but a glorified staff. However, a simple and otherwise harmless blow will cause agony beyond your scope of comprehension. It can deflect low level Kidō, and hampers the ability of anyone struck by it to use whatever part oftheir body was hit. I despise violence, especially the act of killing unless there is absolutely no other option. That is why En'ō is second to none when it comes to forcing one's opponent to stop fighting without hurting them. So it would seem Captain Shinari was right. We're not so different, you and I."
Xamthos was aware of the fact that the computers around them were more or less recording everything he was saying. He had to do his best to ignore that fact, as it made him feel rather exposed. But suddenly henwas reminded of something.
"Why does Captain Banshou hate me so much when she's never even seen me before I came to Sōkyoku Hill? It seemed to me like she was seriously considering defying the Captain-Commander's order not to attack."
