What does the name mean?

Aljira - Australian Aboriginal word meaning "dreamtime".
Copernican - Solar system revolving around a sun.

How do I pronounce everything?

Aljira "al-JEE-ruh"
Copernicun "ka-PER-ni-kan"
Cluricaun "KLOO-ruh-kawn"
Daiah "DYE-e-uh"
Akala "ah-KAH-lah"
Gaya-dari "guy-ah-DAH-ree"

How can I get a Cluricaun?

Through flatsales, raffles, auctions, events, games, customs and pet trades.
Check out page 2 for any events that might be on.

How many can I have?

As many as you want!

How many familiars can my Cluricaun bond to?

There is a maximum of 3 familiars per Cluricaun and one Cluricaun per familiar.

Are they RP required?

No, but if you decide to RP on a regular basis you will most likely get a free gift. See "RP Perks" post for more info.

Can they breed?

They sure can and same sex breeding is possible.

How long does it take for them to grow?

Fluff stage (only available through breeding) lasts 1 week.
Baby stage lasts 1 week.
Youth stage lasts 2 weeks.
Adults are permanent unless you're a regular RPer in which case you might get an Elder stage. See "RP Perks" post for more info on the Elder stage.
Growing times depend on when your pet was certed, not when it was acquired.

Are the babies really just called "babies"?

Daiah and Akala are actually called kits and Gaya-dari are called cubs. It's just easier to call them all one thing.

GENERAL RULES

Do not fight/flame/whine/harass.

RP RULES

No godmodding

Keep things PG-13. This means no extreme violence, no drug use, no sex and no excessive cursing.

Do not RP any Cluricaun that doesn't belong to you.

If your pet is a cosplay that does not grant it any special abilities. Cluricaun are not magical creatures.

Please be literate.

When making an RP journal please keep it tidy and well structured.

When first starting an RP thread you must include either "[PRP]" (private roleplay) or "[ORP]" (open roleplay) and the planet name at the beginning of the threads title eg. "[PRP-Cobar] thread title"

If you create an RP thread with the intention of RPing towards an Elder or breeding the first post must include links to all certs of participating Cluricaun with the username of the RPer as the link title.

If it is an ORP please include a setting in the first post (i.e place, time of day, the weather etc.).

This world is set in a dream space and humans cannot interact with Cluricaun, only dream of them and they of you.

Currently the Cluricaun cannot travel to other planets so please choose a planet and only RP there for the time being. We will be introducing interplanetary travel in the future c:

The Cluricaun are extremely intelligent and have a spoken language.

They may be advanced but are not capable of using their paws to create elaborate structures, jewelry or clothing. If you ever see a Cluricaun with any of these things it was either stolen or Yhi made it for them.

They tend to live out in the open although some elders and families prefer make-shift huts.

Cluricaun are tribal creatures and prefer to stick with their own family groups but they are also very social and kind and will almost never attack another tribe; instead they will either avoid them or try to share their knowledge and learn from them.

BREEDING

Intent to gift a baby to someone who owns no Cluricaun (100% chance for 3)
Meeting RP requirements (3 minimum and 50% chance for 4)
One parent is an Elder (3 minimum, 50% chance for 4 and 10% chance for 5)
Both parents are Elders (4 minimum and 50% chance for 5)

Have one owner per Cluricaun.
Have 1 completed RP together in the last 2 months (at least 20 posts* combined) and each must have an up-to-date RP Journal.

You can apply for a breeding slot in the regular Customs & Breeding threads.

* average length posts of approximately 300 words. If you write a novel for each post obviously you won't require as many, and if you write shorter posts then you might need more.

ELDERS

There is a minimum requirement of 3 completed RP's (at least 20 posts* per RP) and 1 completed breeding in order to get an Elder.

If you would like to get an Elder please stay relatively active in the thread as well as RP forums.

* average length posts of approximately 300 words. If you write a novel for each post obviously you won't require as many, and if you write shorter posts then you might need more.
