Well I do not think there is anything wrong with it. Sure there are some who practice evil things during Halloween but evil people can hijack anything. I believe as long as you just treat it as a silly holiday about candy and costumes and friends no harm done but that is just my opinion. smile

I know it's past Halloween already, but...I thought I'd put my two cents in anyway.
Personally for me, I don't celebrate Halloween and try not to have anything to do with it. (Note, keyword here is try. It gets very hard when everything is Halloween-related and you watch two little boys who's parents celebrate it with them.)
I used to be very pro-Halloween, thinking people were silly for calling it an evil holiday. However, then I started going to the church that I go to now, and I learned that every single thing, right down to collecting candy is tied to demonic pagan rituals. For me, I felt convicted and have decided that, for myself, I will no longer participate in Halloween.
However, I also don't judge other people badly because they do celebrate Halloween. I feel that it is not my place to judge. Some people say that churches having Halloween alternatives is also evil, and I honestly don't know how I feel one way or the other on that. For me, I don't feel that it is something that God wants me to do, however, I also feel that something like that is between that person and God, if they feel that God says it is okay for them to do so, then who am I to judge otherwise?
