this is where we can plan out the plot for our room (Epcot, sym and official room co-hosts only please) Notes on what we have so far: Setting: Space Station Zodiacs: Leo The Lion (Epcot Illuminations) and Capricorn (Symbolon) Constellations: Corona Borealis (Wintry Tea) and Lepus the Hare (iNk_mAy) Other stuff: Corona is on the space station because she secretly is looking for Theseus. Unfinished Ideas The space station is looking for new life in the universe
The space station is tourable as a model of the epitome of modern science
They hit a meteor shower
The space station is overrun by aliens
Zero-grav dancing lessons/dancing
Possible Plot #1 Leo and Capricorn used the opportunity to have their space station open for touring around the galaxy during the ball. Guest can enjoy the ball with the view of the stars and planets passing them. The big surprise at the end of the tour is watching a supernova.
Leo is laissez- faire with the tour and keep going off track and taking detours which leads to problems.
Maybe problems…
Flying through a meteor shower.
Getting lost.
Lots of detours.
Capricorn is very organize and wants to stick to the schedule. She tries to keep Leo in check and keep damage control.
With Ophiuchus members around maybe they cause problems by tempting Leo to do other things or cause damage to the ship?
Basically the goal is to make it on time to see the Supernova alive

K gaiz plot time. Spew any ideas you have and keep in mind that the main plot is a popularity contest in order to head the zodiac council for the next thousand years with Ophiuchus disrupting teams as best he can in hopes of joining the council/being head.
I'll put up any ideas I've had up tomorrow, it's almost time for me to call it a night.

Well first things first: WHY is the setting of choice for Leo and Capricorn a space station? For Caprice I think it could be a couple of things or a combination of them, like she enjoys the organization involved in making modern technology work or she and Leo were named as patrons of the space station and so helped indirectly to keep it running or something.
My point here is to get the setting in place before we add plot to it, if this feels off-topic.

Okay, yeah I was thinking what if during the party there is a power struggle on the ship between Leo and Capricorn, while Leo is captain and Capricorn is navigator, capricorn wants to try for control? I feel that it may add that they are not the same, and are in fact opposites

If Caprice is orderly and methodical, does that make Leo spontaneous and easygoing? And how can we tie this into a plot that guests can interact with?
A power struggle is straightforward enough, but Caprice wouldn't try to take over unless something was actually wrong; so long as things work fine, she'll be irked but not driven to action. Which means there needs to be a serious problem that Leo doesn't see as serious. What kind of problem would that be?

I realize that we are not there yet, but keep in mind that our plot will be compartmentalized into specific points we can introduce one at a time, and that our timeline will be spread over three days.
Also, Wintry and iNk, why are your constellations hanging around the space station? Are they friends of Leo or Capricorn or simply wandering? We can have relationships that exist before the start of this event; Leo and Capricorn have been paired in the head-of-council election/contest things in the past.

@everyone :: If possible, I'd like one or two more basic plot ideas so we can vote on them before fleshing them out.

Symbolon Wintry Tea Oh, not i understand. I just didn't know what you were asking before well Corona Borealis is the northern queen. So that could be put into the plot idea if possible
