[ MUSIC AND COLOR AND SQUISHY THINGS GALORE ]

Off to the side is a rather bright booth, despite the undead managing it. Several counters are host to various games based off each Student Council Member, ranging from the easy to the eye-clwing annoying. Music, light, and color mark their corner, as well as the eyes of countless minipet plushies staring you down . . .

[ GAME ONE: GOT A BONE TO PICK? ]

The president’s booth is perhaps the simplest of the bunch, at least at first glance. Rather than a table, there is large wheel propped up in his designated space divided by lines of what may or may not be actual bones. A grinning draconic skull serves as the arrow that indicates what section each attempt yields, ice cold shards glowing in its eye sockets. It’s practically eager to decide your fate and bids you to come close.

Use the following while playing:
WHEEL OF (MIS)FORTUNE

HOW TO PLAY
Rp your character coming up to the wheel and spin! Roll 1d100 (you may roll multiple attempts in one post) and match the table below:
  • 1-40 = You hear a hollow laugh from the skull. Before you can figure out how something with no vocal chords is managing this, a hidden machine spits an ember of cold fire at you. (No win)
  • 41-60 = The skull’s eyes turn green and indicate for you to take off a particular shelf of prizes. Choose a prize from Tier 1!
  • 61-70 = The skull rattles at your success and indicates you towards a particular shelf of prizes. Choose a prize from either Tier 2 or 3!
  • 71-80 = The skull rattles at your success and indicates you towards a particular shelf of prizes. Choose a prize from Tier 4!
  • 81-90 = The skull rattles at your success and indicates you towards a particular shelf of prizes. Choose a prize from Tier 5!
  • 91-100 = The skull rolls its eyes and earns what looks like a black aura. It gives you a devious (?) look as a gnome offers up what looks like a stub of paper. You’ve won a ticket towards the custom raffle! Fill out the form found in the prize booth post.

[ GAME TWO: HEART OF THE (TAROT) CARDS ]

The vice president’s niche sticks out in the booth as being devoid of both color and sound at first glance. A board of black and white tiles stretches out on the grass like a chessboard, each one bearing an odd symbol. For those who had been part of the Seven Kings experience, some of them look awfully familiar . . . most especially for those of the Black Kingdom.

Use the following while playing:

NOT A PAWN IN YOUR SCHEME

HOW TO PLAY
The goal of the game is to make it across the board without dying. Fortunately, you are provided with a vest that holds a health bar for you to keep track of, rather than, say, dissipating you. If you reach 0 HP before finishing all of the rolls, your attempt has failed and you must try again. Note that you can never go over your max HP!

Everyone begins with 40 HP. Traversing the board takes five turns. Roll 1d12 for each step you take across (you may roll multiple per post) and match it to the following table:
  • 1 = You stepped on the image of a grinning man: The Fool. The tile immediately bounces you back to the beginning with a maniacal laugh, and you can practically hear the sound of your hp bar zooming all the way to 0. It beeps helpfully just in case you didn’t get the picture.
  • 2 = You stepped on the image of a crescent with a face: The Moon. You are healed for +10 HP as starry light floats up from the tile.
  • 3 = You stepped on the image of a figure wielding a sword: Justice. An actual sword slides out from a slit in the center and strikes you for -20 HP.
  • 4 = You stepped on the image of a large circle with a face: The Sun. You are healed for +10 HP as warm sunlight emanates from the tile.
  • 5 = You stepped on the image of a woman with two chalices: Temperance. Luckily for you, nothing happens! (No change)
  • 6 = You stepped on the image of a horned and spade-tailed figure: The Devil. If you are a non-demon species, you take -10 HP as the tile saps you of energy; if you are a demon, you are healed for +10 HP instead.
  • 7 = You stepped on the image of an armored skeleton on a horse: Death. If you are a non-undead species, you take -10 HP as the tile saps you of energy; if you are a undead, you are healed for +10 HP instead.
  • 8 = You stepped on the image of a woman in billowing robes surrounded by fog: The High Priestess. If you are a non-ghost species, you take -10 HP as the tile saps you of energy; if you are a ghost, you are healed for +10 HP instead.
  • 9 = You stepped on the image of a figure with a raised wand: The Magician. If you are a non-reaper species, you take -10 HP as the tile saps you of energy; if you are a reaper, you are healed for +10 HP instead.
  • 10 = You stepped on the image of a beastly creature with open jaws: Strength. If you are a non-monster species, you take -10 HP as the tile saps you of energy; if you are a monster, you are healed for +10 HP instead.
  • 11 = You stepped on the image of a wizened, hunched man holding a walking stick: The Hermit. The tile seems content enough to leave you be. (No change)
  • 12 = You stepped on the image of a winged figure wielding a trumpet: Judgment. A loud blast of noise assaults your ears for -20 HP.

If you make it and have:
40 HP: Good on you! You’ve won a custom raffle ticket! Please fill out the form found in the prize booth post below!
30 HP: Not too bad! You’ve won the choice to any one plushie available!
20 HP: At least you made it! You’ve won a Tier 3 plushie!
10 HP: By the skin of your teeth! You’ve won your choice of Tier 1 or 2 plushies!

[ GAME THREE: PRY IT FROM MY COLD DEAD HAND ]

The secretary’s section is close to the prize booth for the sake of convenience; Mort can keep a better eye on it this way. His space is small but it contains one rather large object: metal plated, sleek, and sparking, a clawed hand sits upright on its stump of an arm and wiggles its fingers at you.

In its palm sits its eye, a saucer of green energy you’re pretty sure is exuding quiet malevolence: a pommy plushie is caught in its grasp, its stitched smile clearly asking for help.

Use the following while playing:

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
Odin's # of rounds won:
[Your Name]’s # of rounds won:

HOW TO PLAY
Some may remember Odin, the ill-tempered arm most wrestled during Fright Night a year ago. Looks like Mort tried to upgrade him in hopes of making it less grumpy. (It didn’t work). It’s your job to run in and save the pommy before Odin squeezes the poor thing to stuffing- less death!

Roll 2d100 and match them to the following table. The first dice corresponds to your effort while the second corresponds to Odin’s. If yours is higher, you win the round!
  • If you are Y2, you may add +5 to your roll
  • If you are Y3, you may add +10 to your roll

You must win three rounds in order to rescue the pommy without damaging it. If Odin wins three rounds, however, you lose and unfortunately the pommy is not saved. In the case of a tie, Odin wins the round.

If you win three rounds regardless before Odin does, you’ve won a pommy plushie of your choice!

If you win three rounds and Odin didn’t even get one, however, instead you win a custom plushie raffle ticket! Please use the form found in the prize booth post below!

[ GAME FOUR: BUST A MOVE ]

The public relations booth is clearly the source of most of the noise: or, well music rather. Even when not played, the Dance Dance Deadolution console happily shuffles snippets of its repertoire in the background. It flashes occasionally, beckoning visitors to come and dance like nobody’s watching. (Spoiler: someone always is. Probably Odin.)

Use the following while playing:

DANCE, DANCE!

HOW TO PLAY
Pick a song out, link it in your post, and dance! This game can be done in pairs or solo! Roll 10d4 to find out your score.

Bonus Combos
  • For every 3 consecutive evens or odds (must be in a row), add +3 to your total (ie. 1, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 1, 2 nets you +6 for the triple 3 and the triple 4)
  • If you roll all evens or all odds, add +15 to your total score (ignore the +3 bonuses)

If your score is:
35 or above = You’ve won a custom plushie raffle ticket!
    30-34 = You’ve won a Tier 5 prize!
25-29 = You’ve won your choice of plushie from Tiers 1-4
24 or less = You’ve won . . . the satisfaction that you did some exercise?

[ GAME FIVE: TITLE ]

There is a small section of booth that holds nothing but a name tag. It says:

Thackbot.

[ THE CASE OF THE WANDERING GAMES ]

It looks like some games are entirely held off-booth.

This is where they pretend to keep track of them.

[ PRIZE BOOTH ]

The area is filled to the brim with color and soft cuddly things, making it stand out like a sore thumb against the rest of the booth (a bed of red dead roses against all the nonliving really). When the prizes aren't busy being handed out by Mort, the Student Council secretary, visitors meet with a rather dour gnome while the zomboil works on stitching more together. Some might even recognize the snide voice as the one who had manned the Ring the Bell game at Prom . . .

"--And that is why I would kick your a** at laser tag." Amrita finished proudly, dropping a heavy box so suddenly onto the booth that it blew dust everywhere. She clapped the dust free from her hands, turning on her backward toes to both face and look up at Alex. She gave him a moment to consider her argument, using that space of time to lean back against the dusty old booth.

"So, sorry, but you are wrong." The smile on her lips, however sweet, pretty much proved how not sorry she was.

Despite Amrita's words, Alexander was grinning from ear to ear. How had they even gotten on this topic of conversation, exactly? He couldn't quite remember, and really to him it didn't really matter. What did matter, was that the ghoul was completely wrong. Alex knew he had some mad skills with first person shooter games, and how was laser tag really any different?

Except, you know, the part with actual getting out of a chair and moving around.

Details.

With a crate still clutched in his own long and slender arms, he dropped it alongside Amrita's box while letting out a sharp bark of laughter.

"I guess you're entitled to your own opinion, even if that opinion is wrong." He tossed back at her, the too sweet smile answered with the same large grin he'd started with.

"Though if you're so sure of yourself, then I guess there's nothing I can say to make you change your mind."

He squinted at her with mismatched eyes, and leaned forward, putting himself down to her level. "So how do you propose we settle this little disagreement."

"Oh, Alex," Amrita sighed, giving him a pitying look as if she had just heard the most ridiculously disappointing thing ever. She crossed her arms under her chest and shifted her weight to one leg. "I'm rarely - if ever - wrong." She fought her own urge to grin, finding his infectious, but the corner of her lips twitched to a hint of one anyway. He leaned down to her level and she tilted her head ever so slightly, her fingers teasing against her own skin.

"Well, the easiest way would be for you to come to your senses and concede defeat here and now~" She suggested innocently, finger to her lips to play it up even more.

"But if you insist..." The ghoul turned away from him to tear open the box behind her, digging through it until she produced what looked like a plastic, green gun.

"We could always settle it the old fashioned way~" She pressed the muzzle square in the middle of his chest and pulled the trigger which, naturally, did nothing but make a soft click noise. The weapon felt familiar though, like an old friend. Her serious expression broke into a grin, and a small chuckle. "But I'd really rather you just give up now, and save me the trouble." The gun was spun in her hand and twisted until she held the barrel, presenting the grip to him.

"Hrm yes well if my quiz score is any indication, I am hardly ever wrong either." He countered, reaching out to tap her on the nose, still grinning away like, though with a slightly more cocky glint in his eyes. Hey, he had done well, and he had a right to brag about it a bit!

"Ha! I will never concede." He straightened up slightly (though still remained slouched) and crossed his arms over his chest.

His arms uncrossed when she turned away from him, and he craned up to see what she was doing, taking a shuffling step closer and eyeing her curiously until.....

Aw yaaaaaaaaa, laser gun! When she pointed it at his chest he laughed, and made no motion to push it away. While guns normally made the undead boil nervous, he knew that these ones were harmless and would not make loud bullet shooting type noises.

Unlike the guns he'd wielded in the tear. Those had been jacking awful.

With the same grin as always, he reached forward and took the gun from her hand, their feel as familiar to him as they likely were to her, though still slightly uncomfortable in a way.

"Of course you would rather I gave up now, because you know if I don't, you're going to loooose." He taunted, turning and pointing the gun at various objects and firing it while making pewpewpew sound affects. Aiming the gun at one of the Mort pommie plushies, he pulled the trigger again.

"BAM! Head shot!"

Okay so somebody was clearly excited about this.

"So are we doing this then? What are the rules?"

Mort stared balefully at them both. It was fine to use the vests he had specifically made for Amrita's game for this little dispute, but shooting him was not cool. Not even plushie him.

He grumbled and stitched at a plushie with more force than necessary.

That test. Amrita's eyes narrowed at the memory of it. She would have done so well, too, had there not been a jackin' trap door under her seat. She still did very well, but she could have done infinitely better and she knew it. It was a sore spot that Alex was unknowingly picking at, but she wasn't about to rise to it. Instead she heaved a sigh and let the anger melt off of her for now, and when she reopened her eyes they were still narrowed, however now playfully so.

"Then don't you go pouting when you lose." She gave an animated shrug and a shake of her head, like it was a big pity that he was even trying. He was laughing again, and she once more fought the urge to grin and join him. Instead she turned away from him once he took the toy gun, and started digging again. The only time she stopped was to look where he was aiming, and then at the real unlife version of the poor toy, who was sewing a little more viciously than before.

"Now now, there's no need to drag Mort into this." The ghoul tsked, clicking her tongue before going back to what she was doing. After a few more minutes she turned, practically throwing a green vest at him. "Rules?" She parroted, looking thoughtful as she slipped into her own vest - a black one that otherwise looked identical to Alex's.

"Except for the obvious first to die loses?" It was more of a rhetorical question than anything, but one that was given nonetheless. The moment he had his vest on her gun was raised, pointed at the sensor on his chest.

"There are no rules." She grinned at him, and without hesitating, pulled the trigger.
