The other day I read that in some ancient Native American tribes, same-sex couples were thought to be sacred. I just thought it was really interesting seeing how drastically the view has changed. I thought I'd share it ^.^

in lots of cultures that werent christian homosexuality was much more accepted than it was today. it really is amazing how much a belief system can change entire cultures over time

Did you also know that in certain tribes of Native Americans / Aboriginals that those who were two spirited (could be trans or queer) were often regarded with high/special positions?
