Jade was rather curious about their new member, or at least about his battle style, and figured the best way to learn about it, was simple to ask him for a battle. She wasn't really much of a battler, but it was an important skill, especially when travelling the seas.

So, she had asked him, eager to test her skills against him. It would be interesting to see what attacks his Vaporeon knew, and it would give Pyrite a chance to play. It would be good for him.

"Ye ready?" Her pokeball was at the ready, just waiting for the battle to start.
