Yuki is a direct descendant of the Li Clan. And Despite being half Chinese, because of her mother, a Chinese noble, Yuki still was respected among the noble Li members and welcomed into the family with open arms. Growing up was not easy for her. Even though her father was the son of a soul reaper and even one himself, he wanted Yuki to have a "normal" life and not pursue her shinigami career; since infancy, she showed signs of not being normal, like having an an abnormally high spiritual pressure at a young age and she could also see spirits. But her father told her it was only her imagination. In time, she would grow out of it. Wanting to distance her and everything relating to the soul society, Yuki 's father decided to take his family away from Japan when Yuki was only 5 and moved to Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong, Yuki aka Méi fāng, learned the ways and customs of the Chinese, taking in her Chinese heritage. Even though her father tried his best to keep his parents away, they watched over from afar. No matter how normal Yuki 's father tried to make her life, she still was able to see spirits as she grew older. On a family trip Yuki and her parents were going to visit her grandparents, after 15 years of no contact. But due to bad weather, the engine failed, causing the plane to crash on impact. Yuki was only 20 years old when she died,along with her parents. After death, she found herself roaming the site of the crash where she encountered her grandmother.
Who simply smiled and escorted her granddaughter to the soul society to reunite with her parents and where her new life as a shinigami would begin. After years of training, she graduated at the top of her class, becoming a kido expert and one of the few captains skilled in the arts of Kung-fu. Yuki having mastered the art even before death. Now, she proudly wears her haori as the squad six Captain, taking pride and honor in her duty to the soul society as a captain and shinigami. Yuki has no recollection of her past, only from what her grandmother had told her and from that, she developed a strong hatred towards her father.

• Hand to Hand: In the field of Hand to hand, Kung Fu to be more precise, there is no one that can compare to Yuki. Having trained the art since her childhood days, she is a master at it. Honing her skills in combat, rarely drawing her Zanpakuto for battle unless needed.

Weaknesses:
• Despite having a strong physical defense and offense, Yuki is limited to her abilities. Having a frail body and heart, the more energy she uses, the more damage it does to her body which in return pays for it later. Faint spells, Blood clots etc.
• Another flaw she has is her peaceful and kind nature. Yuki always prefers words over actions above anything else. Fighting is the last resort for her. She seeks to resolve things with peaceful outcomes.

Shikai Description: Like Kaname Tōsen's Suzumushi and Kisuke Urahara's Benihime, Aurora posses more than one ability in Shikai.
Shikai Ability:
Miu (Raining Beauty)- Yuki calls out her first attack by holding up her free hand to her mouth and releasing a rush of air that freezes anything it come in contact with; she not only uses this as an attack but she can also use it as a distraction while she prepares her next move.
Dansu no hane (Dancing Feathers)-Yuki calls out her attack by slashing her sword sharply in front of her or slashing her free arm; it allows her to create multiple daggers made of ice that attacks the opponent from multiple directions. When one of the daggers strikes the opponent they slowly start to freeze them alive.
Haku Kokuryū) Yuki can quickly create an ice dome around her allies and herself to act as a defense using her blade in a x motion. It can block up to a certain number kido or shikai attack. It can't defend against everything. It's a thick dome of ice, one can think that it can be quite durable against most attacks, both Shikai and Kido. As to how many before cracking and breaking, I'd say at least 3 shikai attacks before it weakens and shatters. There's too many Kido to name but it's quite strong against most of the known and practiced Kido.
Ōbu no Kōu: (Rainfall of Orbs) From the tip of her blade spills a large amount of luminous, flowing ice that lets off a brilliant glow as it touches the ground. The ice begins to merge into one small, glowing orb, and on Yuki's command, it explodes, sending a shower of luminous ice crystals that pierce the foe.
Shiramayu: (White cocoon): Upon calling out the name of the attack, Yuki's Zanpakutō will gain several white ribbons along the shaft of the weapon; each several feet long. She swings her weapon, causing the ribbons to elongate and begin moving. Anything touched by the ribbons becomes frozen, even the spiritual particles, or the atoms, that make that object or being up, preventing them from not only moving, but also from using their power to escape. The ribbons then completely wrap up the frozen target. Yuki states that once the target is completely wrapped in the white ribbon, they will die. There are three ribbons that appear when she activates this technique, meaning she may use it three times before it disappears and she has to wait until she uses Bankai next to do it again. She calls this move her trump card. This attack has effect only on the victim, not on the zanpakuto. Zanpakuto cannot be frozen or affected by this attack. If the person is able to use their zanpakuto still even though only a part of them is immobilized, they can stop the attack by attacking the user which is Yuki.

Bankai Description:
Her blade changes from silver to an all frost blue color
as she finishes the incantation and the colors disperse from the sword in a burst of feathers. Yuki's uniform changes as well, an all black skin tight suit infused with ice. Bankai allows her to manipulate ice to an even more improved degree than her Shikai. Her Zanpakutō's powers still take the form of attacks, but are improved versions of the Shikai attacks. Yuki''s spiritual power now becomes far colder, freezing any liquid within range of her reiatsu. She is careful not to release her Bankai around Humans, or small children that dwell in Soul Society, as her reiatsu in Bankai is cold enough to cause severe frostbite. In addition, if a limb is cut off, it can freeze up due to Aurora's blade being so cold in Bankai form.
Bankai Ability:
Musei Shi (Voiceless Death ): Yuki points her blade in her opponent's direction, unleashing a wave of ice which takes the shape of a butterfly in a single blast. This ice butterfly has a "ghostly" quality to it, and it erodes the life of all touches. An example was when it was able to lay waste to entire forests in one fell swoop- however, it has no effect on inorganic structures. Once shattered, the butterfly can split into innumerable smaller versions, which each hold a fraction of the original's power. When first destroyed it takes form as 100 smaller butterflies but when each are destroyed again they will not reform.
Hashira o bakuhatsu (Exploding Pillar): Yuki calls out this attacks name and slams her sword into the frozen ground. This attack is unique in that it does nothing at all until the opponent makes a move. The moment they do, an ice pillar rockets out of the ground, slamming into the opponent. Other ice pillars form around the victim, spinning slowly around them in a circular fashion. Under the command "Devastate" (荒らす arasu), the pillars begin to spin faster and move in towards the opponent, crashing into them, and forming on large pillar, which shatters, seriously injuring the victim inside. This attack can ONLY be used in Bankai since it uses a lot of spiritual power.
Howaitozōn (White Zone): This attack stems from Yuki's control of her frozen territory. Unlike other attacks, this technique does not require the sword, stemming pure from Yuki's mental control of the area. With this dance, she can completely control the area, from creating spikes, bars, shields, or whatever she pleases from the ice at hand.

Life View: The Positives almost always outweigh the negatives and with the guidance of her lord master, she can do anything she puts her mind to. As long as she is with her "family", she is unstoppable.
Personality:She's elegant, feminine and very lady-like in manner, but does not hesitate to fight when necessary. Despite this, she is a kind person under her cold exterior, especially to children, since she was orphaned at a young age. Miriam hails from the city of Rome. Orphaned at the age of 4 when her Quincy parents died protecting her from a group of hollow; her mother dying at the hands of a shinigami. She was taken in by the Vatican and raised by the nuns of St. Mary's Catholic church. One of the largest churches of Rome. Growing up wasn't easy for Miriam. She lived and breathed the bible and church. If she made a mistake, she had to repeat the prayer all over again. Being raised by strict nuns, she had no freedom and could only find refuge in the bible or when alone. Finally at the age of 18, she was able to leave the church and go wherever she felt she was needed. Having traveled across Europe to help those in need using her medical skills she learned in the church and to spread the word of the god. In Moscow, she came across a seemingly homeless drunk who had been nearly beaten to death and left on the street to die. Miriam took him in and nursed him back to health. Unaware that the man was a Spetsnaz veteran of the Soviet military. After making a full recovery, he was very grateful to the young nun and decided to show his gratitude by teaching her all he knew about self defense and weaponry. Usually it went against the principles of the church and of a nun but because times were getting touch and she was a young woman travelling on her own, he felt she needed to know how to defend herself, so Miriam agreed. Even though in doing so, she'd no longer be considered a sister of the church. For two years, she underwent rough training with the Spetsnaz veteran. Taking on small exercises and challenges to improve her speed, strength and endurance. After the two years of endless training, the veteran decided Miriam was ready and her final test in order to complete the training would be to kill her own teacher upon request by the himself. Being a ex-nun ,Miriam refused at first but to change her mind, the man attacked her and by instinct, she fought back. There was no doubt he had succeeded in teaching her to the best of his ability because in the end, Miriam won the fight. After that day, she changed into a different person. Having violent outbursts at the sight of blood or when feeling threatened. She left Russia in hopes of forgetting the painful memory of losing her teacher and eventually came across a member of the Wandenreich on her journey to Japan. Having been confronted and told the truth behind the deaths of her parents, who were murdered in cold blood by the shinigami and the hollow attack had been a set up from the beginning. Her father having been a Sternritter and mother a former Soldat. Upon learning the truth behind the origin of her loss and who she was, Miriam didn't hesitate accept the man's invite back to the Wandenreich HQ where she would develop her Quincy skills and join her fellow quincy brethren. Five years after her leave from the human world and "coming home", Miriam developed into a full fledged Quincy thanks to her mentor, the current ruler whom she has devoted her life to serve and protect as his loyal guard. Miriam has shown to be considerably fast and dexterous, being able to carelessly avoid attacks with upward leaps and maneuvered her hair to cast an attack even in midair, after being strongly thrown away. The speed at which she can move her hair is high enough for her to stop a flying bullet.
• Reishi Absorption: When it comes to Reishi Absorption, Miriam is a natural. Often coming up with creative methods when it comes to absorbing Reishi. Such as inhaling to the point where reishi is absorbed through her mouth, calling it the kiss of death. However, primarily absorbs spiritual energy from the atmosphere, combining it with her own spiritual energy.

The user is able to use air itself to slice enemies, focusing a current of wind, or in some cases sound, to the point where it takes on a sharp edge, which the caster launches at foes. If it requires swinging around a bladed weapon to perform, which in this case, would be Miriam's Iron Claw and or sword. It can also be used by sword-wielders who are skilled enough they can make a sword's cutting power extend beyond the blade itself in a shockwave.

The user uses small pieces of their own hair in the air, sets them on fire and makes them explode.
Flame Kiss
The user manipulates their own hair, forming it into a burning hot shape that can then be branded onto a surface to leave the desired mark. When used on the skin, this mark is said to be permanent, much like in real human branding.
