Brenny had dashed though the woods carrying a black bundle. That bundle was actually a Pokemon. A sleeping mew, at that. While normally active, Tania had been through a lot the past few days. She had suddenly found herself homeless, in the chill of Autumn. She had made her way as far as Brenny's apartment, one place she remembered spending time with her Daddy, and had collasped.
Luckily for her, the celebi boy had come outside just at the right moment. He had been planning to take cookies to Uncle Grayson. This--this was more important. And as Dea lived closer, Brenny had rushed to her home. "Dea!" He called, pounding on her door. "I found a kitty! I think she's sick!"

Fluffernutter heard shouting and was curious what was going on, so he walked to the door and opened it.
"Hello Brenny. Did you say a kitty? Can I see what she looks like? What color is she? Mama is in resting. You can come in. I am sure she won't mind. Follow me,"the Sentret boy told the Celebi as he motioned for him to follow. He opened the door further and allowed Brenny to enter the house.

Brenny allowed Fluff to see the mew in his arms by shifting slightly. "She's blck. I've seen her before, she was with Urban. But I can't remember her name. She was like this right in front of our apartment," the celebi boy fretted as he followed the sentret. "Is she dead? I thought maybe Dea could help. I was going to take cookies to Uncle Grayson, but a hurt Pokemon is more important. He can wait. Karma told me he's well fed anyway." He grinned at the memory. He and Karma had pretended to catch Grayson, and Karma had said he was a well fed Pokemon.
"Can you help?" He asked hopefully. "I hate to wake Dea up, but..." What if the small black pokemon's life depended on it?

Fluff looked over the Mew, he had never seen one that particular color before and it fascinated him. He heard Brenny talk about Greyson, who was Fluff's 'grandfather' and about needing Dea's help.
"I can wake her for you. I am sure she would understand about this. She is good at helping others. I am sure she has something that can help. She would be able to see this was an emergency,"Fluff replied back. He ran into the back and came back out with Dea a few minutes later.
"Fluff said something was wrong,"Dea said sleepily.

Brenny wasn't altogether sure Dea would understand being woken up. He had met a few people who tended to act like angry ursarings until they fully awoke. But when Fluff returned with the woman, the celebi was relieved. He flashed her a smile.
"Dea, look! I found this kitty in front of my apartment. Someone told me she just collapsed. Do you think she's sick?" He fretted. "I've seen her before, at my lemonade stand. She was with my other friends. I can't remember her name and she won't wake up..." Brenny looked up at Dea hopefully. Surely this mother, this relation of Grayson, had encountered something like this before?
"She only reacts if I move too fast. Then she grumbles."

Fluff looked over to Dea, wondering if she had some kind of idea on what could be done.
"Is there something that can be done? Do you think that she is sick? Mama, will she be alright? Do you think she is still alive? Could she be sleeping?"Fluff asked in his excited kind of way.
Dea patted the top of her head and then walked over to the Mew. She looked her over and wondered if she were cold. She went to get a blanket, making sure to use her cane to keep from falling over. She returned after a few minutes with a blanket in her hands and she wrapped it around the Mew.
"Bring her over to the fire, the cold weather could have affected her,"Dea explained.

As the blanket was wrapped around her, Tania's body began to tremble. She opened her eyes and gazed about the room. She flew out of Brenny's arms and darted left, then right. "Momma, daddy?" She called, frantically. For a moment, the mew had called to remember that she had been abandoned. Upon remembering, the shadow mew stopped and hung, briefly, in midair. "Gone. They're all gone." Momma, daddy and Tris. Gone. They had left her. And she had gone to Brenny's--a place she remembered having fun with her father and her uncle.
She fell then, but Brenny was quick to catch her. He frowned in concern. "What's wrong with her?" He demanded, as the mew's eyes closed. "What does she mean, Urban's gone? Did he do this?"

Fluff looked sad when he saw how sad Tania was, he didn't like seeing others feel like that. He took Dea's hand that wasn't holding her cane and held it tightly, looking up to her with watery eyes.
"Do you think her family left her? Do you think they miss her at all? Maybe we can help her find a new family. Like you did for me, Mama. She looks so sad to me. We have to help her,"Fluff pleaded.
"She is probably tired, well, depending on how far she flew. Poor thing also seems to be missing her family, so hopefully we can help her,"Dea answered.

"They left her," came a cold voice from behind Dea. Timmy, it seemed, had emerged from his burrow of blankets to join the conversation. His expression was hard. How could Urban have done this? How could Sol allow it? They were children, not things to be tossed away at the slightest whim. The skitty boy had always been fond of Urban, but now--now he couldn't see the arrgon as anything short of despicable.
He studied the mew silently, and sighed. "Her name's Tania. She and Tristanm a minun, were being raised by Urban and Sol. I guess they got to be too much. Left them like someone leaving a sack of garbage." His eyes flashed angrily. Timmy knew what it was like to be on his own. He had been, for over a tear before Dea had found him. But these innocents had no idea. They didn't know how to stuff newspaper in their clothing to keep from freezing. They didn't know what was safe to eat or not.
Brenny was silent for a long while, before looking to Dea, and then Fluff, then Timmy. "I'll take her back home to my house when she feels better," he said. "My daddy won't mind. Mei left and we've got room on the bed. I'll take care of her, just like Daddy does me."

Fluff swished his tail back and forth as he listened to Timmy explain who the Mew was and where she had been.
"Why would someone do that? Why couldn't they have done what my old trainer did for me? Mine had to move away with her family. She gave me to Mama to care for me. Wouldn't that have been better?"Fluff asked.
"It would have been, Fluff, but not everyone thinks like that. Thank you for letting us know who she is, Timmy dear. I have not met Urban, I do not believe, but I have Solange. I wish I knew what happened, but now all we can do is resolve it. Brenny, if she becomes too much for you and your father, let me know,"Dea replied.

Timmy sighed. He looked to Fluff, and shrugged. "I don't know," he said. "My trainer was old. She died after keeping me as her pet for a long while. I was wild after that, till Momma found me. Not everyone is as nice as your trainer or momma." Tania was a prankster, but the skitty had always been fond of his niece. And his nephew, for that matter. He glanced at Dea, and pulled on a jacket. "I'm going to look for Tristan," he explained. "He may have had the same idea Tania did. I'll be in contact." He went out the door.
Brenny nodded. "She'll be fine," he assured her. "But if we need help, I'll tell you."
Tania began to stir. She stretched. "Brenny," she grumped, "Why..?"
"I brought you to Dea. You collasped in front of my place so I brought you to her to help."

"Alright, please be careful out there, Timmy. I know you can take care of yourself, but I can't help but worry,"Dea called after him. Then she turned her direction to Tania and Brenny when she heard the Mew speak.
"Are you okay, Tania? Brenny was worried when he brought you here. Hi, my name is Fluffernutter. Mama will make sure you are okay. Do you need anything to eat? Maybe you would like something to drink?"Fluff suggested. Dea reached over and patted his head, he really was a helpful kid.

"I'm okay," Tania muttered, climbing up onto Brenny's head. Shari buried her paws in his thick curls. "They left me," she said. Her expression trembled, and her eyes shone dangerously. "Tristan too." She made a face at the suggestion of food and drink, shaking her head. "No thank you. I'm not really hungry." How could she eat, with all that had happened?
She yawned. "I am awfully tired," she said. "Maybe a place to sleep for a few hours?"

"Brenny told us they left you. I am sorry that happened. Brenny says you can stay with him for awhile. I am sure you can sleep her for a bit though. Mama is a very kind person. She adopted me when my old trainer had to move away. Maybe someone will adopt you too,"Fluff spoke.
"Yes, I can put you in a guest room, if you want,"Dea nodded in agreement.

"Me and Daddy will adopt her," Brenny said firmly. "We will. We don't have as much room as you guys do, and we share a bed, me and Eliot, but we can take care of her. Daddy will like her. He'll make her happy like he makes me happy." Everyone deserved a daddy like his Daddy: the celebi boy was beginning to realize not every daddy was as nice as his. He knew, without a doubt that his would never leave him. They were happiest together.
"Sleeping would be nice," Tania said, with a yawn. She looked down at Brenny. "You'll wait for me?" She asked.
"Sure! Fluff and I can watch Monsters Inc. I got the dvd!" He pulled it out of his bag. "Do you think there really are monsters in closets?" He asked in a whisper.
