My name is Heather and I'm 31 years old . I grew up in Battle Creek, MI and then moved to Richmond, VA for four years. I have recently moved back to Battle Creek and am staying with some family, but I hope to be back out on my own soon.

I'm a was Preschool teacher for 6 years who worked with the scariest age there is....2 year olds. I loved my kids, but I've been working in child care for about 6 years now, and I'm thinking of changing careers, just not sure what to. Currently, due to my recent move, I"m working at a local factory. I'm hoping to use the opportunity to really step back and figure out what I want to be when I grow up. ^^

I've been married for 6 years now. We don't have any children, but perhaps someday we will. We do, however, have a cat named Flops, who is a passable substitute for a child....in his case, a loveable, affectionate but moody teenager. wink

Outside of Gaia, I love to read. My favorite genres are Horror and Fantasy. I love Stephen King, Clive Barker, Terry Goodkind, Piers Anthony and Robert Jordan. I also love poetry, with Emily Dickinson and e.e. cummings being two of my favorite poets. I have even been known to dabble in writing poetry when the muse strikes, which isn't very often. My poems tend to be deeply emotional and heavily influenced by Dickinson and cummings. I've also been working on and off (mostly off >< ) on a story based on one of my RP characters. If you're interested in checking it out you can go to Aria na`Hael's Profile, where you can read her bio and her Travel Journal.

As you can tell, I also love to RP. For the last year, I've mostly been involved in one, long term Gaia based RP, but once I've got more time to be online, I'd like to find a couple more to be involved in.

I also love to watch Horror movies and play RPG's and survival horror games on my Playstation2. I'm also a huge fan of tourist traps. I love amusement parks, wax museums, haunted houses and discovering new malls. I like to say that when it comes to entertainment, I have the tastes of a demented 12 year old. twisted

Well, I guess that's about it. There's more I could say, but if you want to know more, you'll just have to get to know me. That's fair isn't it? biggrin

This is my kitty Flops. He''s a dumbass (in fact, that's what my husband calls him. I swear, he probably doesn't even know his real name. biggrin ) But I love him. He's very friendly and affectionate and he loves meeting new people. biggrin

Thanks. I don't mind it being small. I kind of like the idea of "getting in on the ground floor" of a new guild. xd

That's ok. Its not the size, its the environment. If the memberes are intersting, nice and supportive, then a smaller guild can be just as much fun as a big guild. In some ways, smaller could even be a little better, since its easier to monitor and tends to be much truer to the purpose of the guild instead of overrun by people who don't really care about the purpose and just want a place to post for gold.

Thats a lot of what we're going for. We dont care if we get big, we just wanna keep a good atmosphere.

Yeah, I know the feeling. What did you think of Crossroads of Twilight? I think it's been my least favorite so far. It just seemed like not much happened, like the whole purpose of the book was to set up for the next one. That's why I have such hopes for Knife.

Honestly, I haven't read any of the books recently. I read Crossroads of Twilight when it first came out and haven't read any others since then. I remember the overall story, but as to specifics I'm pretty lost now. I'll probably pick up at book one again at some point in time. I do the same thing everytime a new Harry Potter book comes up, read from book one on.

I do that too. Wheel of Time has so many minor characters and there's so much deceit going on, that if I don't I forget who's bad, who's good, who's bad but pretending to be good and who's just a plain old b***h. I think I've read the firas four books about five times each now. biggrin

Hehe, yeah. I was lucky to have started reading them when there were already about eight books, and since I was a lot younger then it took me a while to get through a book so by the time I was done books nine and ten were out. He did the prequel though before writing eleven, so it threw me off. I have yet to read the prequel as well though.
