The sun was setting soon, and a soft chilly breeze was coming in which was exactly what the Orderite needed at the moment. The blazing hot sun was still out, shinning down on her as if trying to cook her alive. Fighting the last Kiandri dragon had made her use up a whole lot more energy then she had anticipated, and she could not wait to get out of the desert. This was going to be the last time she ever even thought about coming back here. Soon she’d be able to fight stronger dragons anyways; she wouldn’t have to come back.
Getting up again, Xenosa cast a glance at the desert. There! She’d caught movement; Xenosa started her way towards it. Walking would help her catch her breath and cool down maybe just a bit. This was probably going to be a much more intense fight than with the other Kiandri, she was already too tired for a proper fight. As she got closer, the Orderite did indeed catch a glimpse of another Kiandri. She knew she didn’t have much strength left, and this would be dangerous but if she wanted to get back as soon as she could there was no way around it.
Her walking turned into a full speed running, daggers already in hand as a subconscious defence mechanism. Both daggers missed, which was enough time to give the Kiandri time to turn around and blast her with some lightning, thankfully she’d seen it coming and had rolled off to the side. Daggers in hand she threw some more as she got up, feeling her muscles weakening under her, she stumbled and missed hitting the dragon in the chest instead. The Kiandri went at her again she had to roll once more, get up and this time made sure her aim was proper. The orb lay there when Xenosa was able to get up again.
