Thought I should post something here. I won't able to post that much this and the week to come because I'm right in the middle of some midterms. Will try to post at least once or twice a day, but might be a bit slow sweatdrop

A (semi) formal excuse for my continued absence.
Kay, so my mom has both cancer and a failing liver. Due to the nature of the cancer (multiple myeloma), she's been rejected for a liver transplant. ALSO due to the nature of the myeloma, it's not a thing they treat for some 5-7 years after you're diagnosed, but her liver will fail long before then.
We just had what she's convinced us is our last Christmas with her, but now she's not so sure. She was turned down for a transplant here in Washington, so there appears not to be any hope there. BUT, if she can get OK'd for a transplant in another state, we'll be packing up there and heading out ASAP. It's all very hypothetical right now, but as you can imagine, it's a little bit stressful.
Please bear with me. I miss you all, and this is an extremely trying time for me and mine.
