She just scowled.
Really? More mud?! And she'd just cleaned up too! Oh she wouldn't have been surprised if this had something to do with Ian. Or maybe Bix had been peeping on her previous match.
Fini sighed heavily, glancing up at the darkening sky and avoiding as much of the mud as she could for the time being to, and gave her opponent a lopsided grin. Which morphed into a bigger one as she got a look at the woman. Who looked strangely familiar and yet... she couldn't quite place why yet. Alaska. Why did the name sound familiar?
Well, it would come to her. Maybe. But there was a battle to be fought. Hopefully the aches and mild pains from her previous battle didn't slow her down too much. With a nod to her opponent, Fini made her first attack, summoning Vashi once again and moving in close to slash at her.
"Wait... are you Nevada's twin?" She asked as it clicked.

The mud didn’t surprise, but it didn’t mean it pleased her. She furrowed her brows as she reluctantly stepped through the mud to get closer to her next opponent, who seemed just as displeased at the arena as she was. Well, it had been raining earlier and the winds were stronger too. A part of Alaska was glad she had short hair tied up in a ponytail to prevent her hair from whipping about. Unlike Fini, she hadn’t quiet dried off from her first battle since she figured she would be getting dirtier again, so what was the point of changing now rather than later?
As the wind howled, the sun trainee raised her head to the dark side before looking back at Fini. The stranger nodded, and Alaska solemnly returned it with one of her own. She gripped her leiomanos tightly when Fini made the first move, swiftly moving in range to slash her side. Her lips pressed together, but she said nothing as she swung and bashed her on the shoulders.
“I am. Impressive of you to notice.” Most people didn’t, which didn’t totally surprise her. Her hair had been dyed a number of colors and she had marked herself with tattoos. Now people could definitely tell the difference between her and her younger twin.

Though she'd dried off between matches, the evidence from her last match was still splattered over her clothes. But at least the mud on her face was gone. Though not quite out of her hair yet. She huffed as some of said hair whipped her in the face, loose strands falling from the ponytail she'd tossed it up into earlier. A brief flicker of her gaze went to the sky, wondering if it was going to just open up and pour on them.
Fini winced as her side was hit, but grinned at Alaska none the less. Except for when a splash of mud got her leg pretty good. SIGH.
"It's in the face." She admitted. "I just saw some resemblance there. And Nevada had mentioned before you were her sister." She'd just forgotten her name.
Trying to get some firm footing, Fini stayed in close range and swiped Vashi horizontally at Alaska, grinning excitedly despite current conditions and mud. "I'm Fini. Which you obviously knew, but hey, proper introductions never hurt, right?"

Finn had tried to stay near Fini after he last battle, helping her at least get her face cleaned up though he was almost positive that it was completely pointless to do so. Still, it was a vast improvement over the mud that had been splattered across her features before, clean enough to be very tempting to continue the small celebration they'd started after her last match up.... But no, he was back to behaving himself, for the most part. She had another fight to get to without a lot of time in between, and he pretty much just followed after her, checking the bracket board just long enough to see that Jack had somehow managed to win his match and would be going into another as well. Finn was actually somewhat torn about which he should go and watch. On the one hand, Jack was his bro and Finn did tend to put bro's first. On the other hand....what he had with Fini was new and while he still couldn't put a label on it, he was loathe to screw it up on the first day. But he could heckle Jack. But he could kiss Fini. ..........He followed Fini to her match. ....................A match in an actual mud pit. Gross. Grossgrossgrossgrossgross."Hit her in the ovaries, Sunshine!" He had to yell it really loudly because he was not coming anywhere near that mess if he could help it, and stood really, really far away. Far enough not to get mud thrown at him. Syusaki /whispers he's a butt I'm so sorry ;;

“Well, considering we’re identical twins…” Her voice trailed off. “A bit too late for proper introductions, but pleasure to meet you.” Alaska took a step back from the other woman while she spun her leiomanos around in her hands. Unexpectedly chattery today. Geez~ Is my Alaska growing up into a fine, amiable woman? Shut up. Hehe~
The raven-haired woman stepped forward for a retaliatory hit, but a sudden shot caught her off guard mid-attack and she stumbled forward. Somehow she managed to catch herself in time and looked up to spot a semi-familiar face. Any sort of cool courtesy wiped off her face as she glared at Finn and promptly flipped him a middle finger. “How about I kick you in the balls after this, hm?”

Seriously, Dorian had only come because Finn had stated something about Fini and mud pit battles. He had watched Chelsea wrestle around earlier in said mud, and decided that someone might have to be there to hose the ladies down after the battle.
You know.
Just in case.
"You 'ave something against mud?" He muttered after Finn was done with heckling at the loudest he possibly good, giving him an amused once over.
Turning to Fini, he gave her a little thumbs up, not quite as noisy as the man next to him.

She gave Alaska a sheepish smile. "Right. Yes, you two are. But it's nice to meet you as well!" She'd have to tell Nevada later she finally met her sister. That would probably make her happy! Hey, and at the rate she was going today, maybe they could go have another laundry date to gossip and b***h about Deus in general!
It was probably a lucky fluke that a certain someone's shout saved her from getting hit too hard. The blow glanced off her arm and Fini back peddled to get a little space between them, almost slipping.
Finn, what were you even doing way back there? Wait who was that with him... Dory! Fini gave the Frenchman a little wave back.
She opened her mouth to say something to Finn, but Alaska beat her too it. And Fini just blinked at the other woman, closing her mouth. Whoops! Apparently Finn had pissed her off in some way. Which... didn't completely surprise her. "Erm... sorry." She muttered, going in for a quick slash while Alaska was off guard.

“It’s fine,” she insisted, poker face and all. “Most people rarely catch on as quickly as you do, so there’s no need to be embarrassed.” A lucky fluke for Fini, but hardly fortunate for Alaska. She was trying to do her best here! Really, Finn, really? A sideways glance revealed yet another companion of Fini’s. Eyes narrowed and her mouth pressed into a thin line as she hid her annoyance. Waitwait. Are you maybe jealo— Alaska mentally shoved the reaper ghoul to the back of her mind as Fini attacked her. She stumbled backwards, nearly falling into the mud but catching herself in time.
“It’s fine.” Her nostrils flared. What a sly attack, but in a real battle fairness didn’t matter as long as you landed a deadly blow on your opponent, so she remained silent. The runes of her weapon flared to life and Kit’s laughter echoed in Alaska’s mind as she bashed Fini in the side.

There was still a sheepish look about her face, but Alaska didn't seem too bad. Definitely not as bubbly and full of cuddles as her twin, that was for sure! "You're also from the Sun division too, right?" She asked, pretty sure that was what Nevada had said.

Sly it may have been, but she was a sun hunter too! And if there was one thing she had learned from her missions and battles, it was take any opening you could grab. Alaska kindly repaid the hit in turn and Fini outwardly hissed softly, grip tightening on her sais swords. And then she whipped Vashi around and lunged lower, aiming for Alaska's legs, though it would leave her more vulnerable to attack.

Finn really just could not wrap his head around why some guys found this mud wrestling thing sexy. What was sexy about a couple of women covered in ******** wet dirt? Watching them go at it like this could maybe have been considered hot, but only if they had both been dressed in bikinis and perhaps fighting in a small pool of water. Dorian got a shrug, before Finn turned his usual cold gaze towards him. "I don't mind my women dirty, but this is a bit much." He admitted, though if the other man meant in general.... "No. I can't say that I like mud very much." At Alaska's shout back at him, Finn grinned widely. "What was that, cupcake? Aw come on! You should be flattered that I finally figured out that you're actually a woman!" Because she could have fooled him with that hair and those tats. Seriously. He then sort of remembered that Fini was right there. His gaze flickered towards her and his smile faltered just slightly, because he realized she might not appreciate what he was saying, especially if she was actually on friendly terms with this woman. Maybe he should have gone to watch Jack's fight. Okay never mind, Jack was here. This just got way more interesting.

“I am.” A short and sweet answer. She tried to step back to avoid any oncoming attacks, but Fini had already darted forward for another attack toward her legs. Her eyes widened and Alaska immediately tried to counter with her own, but found herself distracted by yet another shout and slipping into the mud. The voice was different, but just as familiar.
Her teeth visibly gritted together as she glared at the newest spectator. <******** you all. Alaska sucked in her breath, trying to stand back up and deal another attack, but instead continued to stumble and slip. <******** you all. ******** you all. ******** you all to hell. The peanut gallery was doing nothing to calm her down, and as rough and tough as she liked to be, she had to wipe the tears pooling in the corners of her eyes before anyone realized better. Don’t pay any attention to them, hun. Kit cooed. They can just go jack off.

So she'd been right! A fellow Sunny! Fini gave her an appreciative smile at this. That fell just as fast as it appeared as Alaska slipped into the mud. She winced visibly and would have offered a hand to help her up, but an attempted attack came her way and she slid to the side to avoid it.
Oh and there was Jack. Lovely timing.
"The only b***h that will be in the mud is you, Jack darling!" Fini called out sweetly. Had he won his match? She'd... forgotten to check the bracket board. Whoops!
Finn was ignored. Because she would talk to you later.
Geez. Was Dory the only good one out of the three?
Fini didn't take the obvious advantage shot she could have, stepping back and letting Alaska get her balance again. "Ready?" She grinned, giving the other woman all her attention. When she was sure Alaska was ready, Fini used both sais swords to attack, moving them in opposite directions to slash wherever she could reach on Alaska. At least, that had been the plan.
Her foot sunk deeper into the mud then she'd expected, throwing her off and her knee crashed into the mud and a hand shot out to keep her from going all the way down, getting splashed in the face in the process. Goddamnit! Not the face again!
