The air was cool and dry, but surprisingly not stale. The room was large, and open, with a vaulted ceiling, illuminated by small spherical lamps along the walls that glowed softly in pale colors. Not all of them were lit, however, and a few of the ones that did give light sputtered and flickered occasionally, and one shone dimmer than the others. Shelves lined the walls on either side of the area where the page stood with the senshi still clinging to him, then formed a maze towards one end of the long hall of a room.
The one wall they could see that was not occupied with shelves, however, was a solid window, crystal clear between metal tracings, with a view over an endless plain of red dust, dunes, and low jagged mountains. Above them, there was no blue sky - only profound blackness.
Red Cliff started to release Medea as he turned to face the window, but kept one arm around her for comfort. His own as much as hers, perhaps, at the sudden alien surroundings. How had they arrived here? Had he done this? Fear welled up in his throat, but at the same time, the red-haired boy was transfixed by the view out the massive window.
"Um. I think I thought us to Mars," he managed, unsure of what other words described the situation.

Medea teetered on the verge of breakdown before, but she fell into the abyss now. "One sec--" She slid to the floor and curled into a fetal position at Red Cliff's feet. She clutched his legs and whimpered. "--Let me just." Hnn. No Medea. No, you can't cry in front of your new friend. "HNN..."She pressed her face against his leg and wailed. She didn't like space right now! She didn't want anything but her bed! Red Cliff, why did you push her so far away? She only wanted to curl up and rest her head against the pillows and sheets and you teleported her to Mars. What was this?
Dark skies. No sunshine here. No stuffed kittens or Thetis curling up against her. Just pale colors lit and large windows. Under happier circumstances, she would have run down this hallway, stretched out her arms and spun, laughing, staring at the ceiling that stretched so high, and tumbled onto the ground, feeling its coolness against her back.
Not tonight!
"I just--" She sobbed. "One moment, please--"
She wanted to love it, but Bischofite's laugh ruined her.

Red Cliff's breath caught in his chest, and he clenched his hands into fists as his shoulders tensed. He had skipped into space by accident. And he had ... basically kidnapped this poor girl he had just met who was already clearly really upset with him. By accident. Much as the red-haired boy really badly wanted to geek out and enjoy the sudden travel into space, he was just too overwhelemed by poor Medea's emotions. He had to take care of her first because, though whatever had happened to her before was beyond of his control, this was definitely his fault.
"Uh- I-" he stammered, wobbling as she pressed against his legs. Crouching carefully, he reached out to put his arms around her. Red Cliff could let her cry, that was easy. There probably was not a way for him to mess that up.
s**t, he felt sort of like crying, too.
"Yeah, um, take your time," the Page muttered, brows drawing down as he wondered how to make this right again. Maybe ... maybe they should stay here, at least for a little while. Maybe he could distract her a bit with this place, in spite of it being his while he knew nothing about it.
But, well, one thing Red Cliff felt fairly sure of, at least: "We're safe here, though." He was quiet a moment, then restated it, trying to sound more confident: "This place is mine, so it's a safe place."
