Without the shield surrounding Deus Ex, warm sunlight streamed into the meeting room unopposed through the large windows. Along the long table that took up a majority of the room, Lance had wheeled up to one side towards the end and was currently shifting through a large pile of paperwork. If greeted, he would acknowledge those entering with a distracted nod and half-wave before pursuing a particular fragment of text.
As the last of the hunters filtered in, Lance looked up and rubbed his eyes. "Mornin. Aria's currently on mission again, leaving me in charge of this. So." He raises his hand in a vague gesture. "Let's have it. Anyone got a project they want greenlit? Or something they need to get off their chest? Anything? Anyone?"
Lance paused, rubbing the side of his face. "Damn, I knew I should've grabbed coffee before this."

The OOC Welcome to the Quarterly Division Meeting, where hunters may ICly propose various projects they would like to undertake! In here they can ICly get approval, funds, workspace, off-island mission approvals, minions, and equipment they need to pursue their projects! Rank is a definite factor in what they are allowed and provided with! Feel free to hit me up via IM or PM if you have questions for me, or feel free to ICly give Lance a poke.

Nevada shuffled in sleepily, finding a seat and sliding her way into it.
She didn't quite have a thought or project to bring up right away, and instead rested her head in her chin, watching Lance with blearily green eye.

Cass was so ready for this, having a stack of papers in a folder with her as she came in, quietly setting a cup of coffee next to Lance as she passed by him (as if knowing coffee was needed) before sitting down with her own.
After which she raised her hand. "I had a proposal I was asked to put more preparation into and have done such." she said.

Roland shuffled in quietly moving past Nevada to take a seat beside Cass settling in for the early morning meeting. It seemed most people where still filing in for the whole event and Cass was ready to go with her proposal.
"I'll take a stab at mine after Cass goes," He nodded to the hunter beside him before settling into his chair a bit better. It was going to be a slow morning that was for sure.

Molly had been thinking about her utter embarrassment and half thought out idea since the last quarterly meet…but then she came to another conclusion. She should really be focusing on making it to full Hunter first. Regardless, the curly haired hunter skittered in, because it was important to support her fellow Mists and to see what everyone was up to. After all, maybe someone needed some help! She’d always be around to help. She gave a soft but cheerful greeting to everyone who was currently there, and then took a seat at the table quietly, next to Nevada, offering the trainee a smile before she paid attention to what was going on.

She didn't know what her A game would be--but she did bring her new swiss army knife.
That was what Stormy was toying with when she took a chair not near the other Mists, but rather one closer to Lance. Just a little more separate. She hadn't made much of a sound going in, just slipped to her current seat after seemingly coming from Molly's shadow. Someone had been practicing their tailing skills a bit too much lately.
The way she fiddled with the swiss army knife revealed her restlessness. Flick went the knife. Twnng went the corkscrew. Shhhk went the saw. People here knew what they were doing, had proposals, had a plan. All she had was an idea--a desperate hope more like. Given how Aria had treated unorganized projects last time, Stormy was hesitant to even mention it here. But for now there was time to discover what her fellow Mists had in mind.
It was hard not to simply go over and sit with the group, but the ache was her own personal punishment. Stormy was a clingy creature, and she decided it was high time she started breaking the habit.

This was perfect. Candace sat in a seat with the others, carrying two completely filled notebooks she had been writing in for the past...god she couldn't even remember how many months now. Things she had been wanting to do but missions and tears in the sky taking away everything had made her hold off on actually executing. Getting formal approval would be perfect. "I have something as well regarding training," Candace told Lance with a smile. She heard a flick and looked to the source, spotting Stormy playing with something. Oh! When had she gotten one of those? Her smile fell and her brow furrowed with concern. Was she okay?

As soon as the cup was on the table, Lance gave it one look before he snatched it up and drained it. "Ahhh! That's more like it!" He shouted, slamming the cup down on the table. It may have bounced once or twice and maybe gain a chip or two. And a crack. Energized, Lance snapped his fingers towards Cass. "Lay it on me." Lance nodded towards Roland and Candance, acknowledging them. "Once thing atta time, that way I can more or less keep the numbers straight."

Cass smiled brightly before she opened up her folder, taking out 2 pieces of paper that were stapled together - one of two copies she had in her possession - and sliding it across the table towards Lance.
"To spare you some reading, I'll just summarize the contents, but you can have that for your records - since our last quarterly meeting, I have spoken to Doctor H about taking up a room in the rebuilt therapy wing and he has put room 108c," she put a keyring on the table as well, "in my name. I would like to put this room to use for hunter psychological therapy, as after we lost Killzone we had a void left in the work he was doing and after personal need made me realize we could use someone taking up that slack, I made it a personal goal to take up even a little bit of that."
As she spoke, she glanced from Lance to her copy of her write up, drawing a finger down it to make sure she was covering all of her bases.
"The location will allow for immediate medical attention should any session between myself and a confidant get out of hand for either of us, as well it puts us close enough to the training grounds that if burning off steam would seem to be a proper course of action it would be a quick course of action with a less than five minute walk." She tapped bullet points on her piece of paper as she spoke, continuing on after a moment.
"The only assistance I would need is in furnishing, which I am willing to take up some of the burden for as this is my own pet project, which would consist of things that could be scavenged from the old school and very little that I would have to really acquire new or second hand off island, as well as assistance in getting word of mouth in that there is a counselor-slash-therapist-slash-what-have-you on the island again."
She glanced over the second page of her written proposal before letting go of the first page and putting her hand on top of it.
"Over all any financial pull on the division would be very small as I've tried to take care of as much of the heavy lifting as I could to get things organized." Cass looked up again, "And that's it, unless there are questions." she smiled.

As Cass spoke, Lance skimmed over the proposal and tapped his fingers. He didn't like how she said void, as if there was something more to it than it seemed. Killzone was a good man in Lance's eyes, and he did regret not having an opportunity to talk to him more. Then again, if he had spent time with him then he likely would have remained in the Sun division as some sort of quartermaster instead of an Assistant. That in and of itself wouldn't do. "Isn't your..." Lance twirled a finger, searching for a word that wasn't along the lines of ball-and-chain slash blood pact slash matching lovebird slash otherwords for the word he was looking for. "Husband part of the Moon division? He could help you out and help you work on building." Because clearly anyone in the Moon division was a master carpenter who could make anything out of materials, not just defensive things. And a bed could totally be a defensive thing if pushed up against the door just right. "Regardless, you're clear for a starting budget and what you can find. Aria's got the keys to the portal so I can't guarantee any Ikea trips. You'll also have to take it up with her, 'less you want to ask Dwight or Mark. Your call. Next." An expectant look was thrown towards Roland.

"I'll do what I can on my own until portals are properly running on their own." Cass agreed, but overall seemed satisfied that she was at least placed in a position to get up and running.
In fact, the suggestion to make her husband help her build some things would have been even more fantastic if he wasn't already building their house (again), but she'd see about getting him on some down time.
But either way she was already scribbling notes down on the back of her papers of some rough drawings to get things going. So excited.

Roland nodded to Cass then turned to Lance himself clearing his throat a bit. "I ah, I know Aria prefers we have more paper work and ground work laid out for proposals, and after Cass I'm going to look a little less organized."
He shifted in his chair a bit, "But the first thing we need to do for this project is a research team, I want to look into alternate power sources. With the islands main source gone we've been lacking in both vital systems and things that make day to day life a little more tolerable." He waved his hand a bit, "I know we have bases outside the main island, possibly even abandoned ones like the Antarctic area that I would guess have self sustaining power sources. When we have some minor access to portals getting those would be useful, and even more so finding Artifacts that we can use as well."

Molly just felt even more shamed as she listened to Cass’s well thought out and planned proposal for counseling. Gosh. She really had it together, and Molly well, Molly didn’t. There was no way she could bring it up now. Though she’d been thinking a lot about it…nothing got done about it. Molly looked disappointed with herself as she stared down at the table, and then realized that would probably seem rude, and then snapped her attention back to Roland. She listened, and as she listened, Candace’s words, combined with Roland’s, made a thought strike out at her. Molly’s eye’s widened momentarily as she came to a realization. At some point, Molly had tentatively raised her hand and voiced softly: “I’d like to speak after Miss Candace if that’s alright, please! Um…thank you!” After that, Molly ended up pulling out her green planner from her coat, flipped to a page, got out her pen, and then started to furiously jot things down.
