After dropping off the hair trinket with Junjie's mother Tilawen had wandered about the different lands until she finally decided that her father seemed intent on hiding from her forever. This ended up with her being rather unfocused and unsure of what to do next. The surely woman didn't talk to anyone and preferred being alone, though she was finding that her thoughts would wander back to Junjie..wondering if he was okay or if he had gotten himself hurt.
Perhaps it was due to her being distracted and disinterested in the world around her that she didn't notice she was being stalked. A kiandri dragon had spotted the young woman and had begun to trail her progress and she wandered through the hot desert. Her dark skin made the heat almost intolerable but she found the discomfort was almost better than feeling nothing at all. Lately she had been trying to suppress any emotion what so ever though a little warning in the back of her head told her this was a terrible idea and that she shouldn't pursue it.
A roar brought her out of her thoughts as she dimly turned around to notice a dragon lunging towards her. Raising her staff she summoned a ball of fire though there was lightning arching towards her. As both elements struck each other and caused a slight explosion throwing Tilawen off to the the left which probably had been for the best as the dragon landed exactly where she had been moments before. Quick on her feet, she launched another blast of fire at the dragon only to have it dodge her and then send another flurry of lightning in her direction.
At this rate the woman was going to be charred to a crisp either by the lightning or by her own fire as another explosion rocked the air before them. Thrown once more Tilawen figured the smoke hanging in the air would provide ample cover as she quickly retreated. No matter how many times she managed to tell herself she couldn't let her guard down it felt as if she had no other choice in the matter but to flee.
