Roland was cresting the top of a sand dune as the rain gently dripped around him. It was a mostly clear sight on the beach but the clouds at sea where rolling in closer. A hand ran through his hair tugging it back and out of his eyes as he finally spotted Rin in the area dedicated to their fight.
For a moment his gaze lingered, she was still missing an arm, that wasn't likely to change. It felt wrong. Standing on the dune he held out ah and Sylvia snapping into existence.
Taking a running leap he cleared the rest of the dune rushing Rin with a heavy slash.
"I feel terrible doing this..." He stepped back raising his guard, "But if you signed up to fight, then we're going to fight!"HP: 50 DMG 10

Rin was glancing about the dunes for her opponent. Unaware they already had her in their sights. When they dove in, she just had enough time to summon Byr to her hand before she took the hit. It was strong enough she could feel it in her bones and rattling her teeth. She spun back away from the challenger and clipped them with the edge of her axe.
"No one asked you not to!" Rin spat.

The thing with axes is that they where heavy, and even getting clipped by one usually had the added bonus of being tossed around like a paper boat in the ocean when you weren't ready for it.
Such was the case with Rin's clip that sent Ro into a small rotation. Even as he came around though he brought Sylvia around letting the back of the scythe hit her instead of the blade in a quick follow up to her attack.
Stumbling backwards after he shook his head waiting for the world to stop rotating. "I just... it's been a while I don't know how you've been since the whole... incident?"

"That is none of your business," her tone was clipped and annoyed. She brought Byr back around to swing with a motion of her entire body at him. The blade came down far more heavily this time.

The blow was crushing to say the least it dropped Roland to his knees and he had to use Sylvia to haul himself back up out of the wet sand. When he finally got up he used the end of Sylvia's shaft to push Rin away from him.
"I liked it better when you just grumped at me to eat the soggy green beans around here...."

A smirk curled across Rin's face. That'll teach him not to be so nosey about who was missing what parts or why. She went to swing heavily again when she got pushed back - again clipping the man with the blade before being knocked back. She recovered quickly and watched him. Waiting.

The next swing again stumbled him, he couldn't keep his balance let alone land a solid strike when every strike from her axe sent his head spinning. It didn't help the soft sand was clumping sliding under foot in the rain.
Righting himself up again he spun Sylvia end over end at his side a quick pinwheel of blades nipping at Rin trying to keep her from getting another heavy swing.

The swinging kept Rin at bay, as did the falling rain that saturated her dark winding locks, causing them to stick to her features as she silently but determinedly kept going forward. Byr swinging forth to n** hungrily at Ro's edge.

Roland's own brown hair was matted to his face and cheeks. Rain dripping down off it as the steady drizzle continued to soak them slowly to the bone. The axe swept out again but Roland was read this time, he twisted with the weapons swing letting it graze his side as he spun Sylvia above his head bringing her back down over the axe in a wicked slash that buried the tip of the scythe in the sand with a heavy thwump.
He wasn't out of this yet.

Rin let out a loud, if not somewhat shrieked, yelp as the scythe came crashing down. It was powerful and hit hard and if she were human, it would have ended her right in two. Thankfully, she was more than that. She took a quick swipe at him with her axe before retreating backwards. Self-preserving above all else.
She was not willing to take another full hit like the last.

Roland ignored the shriek of surprise as he came down hard, he might be slim and short, but he was still capable of putting up a decent fight thanks to the gifts hunters where given from their weapons. There was one draw back to his attack though, Sylvia was still lodged in the sand and as he moved forward to tug her out he found himself slashed by the axe head again letting out a soft hiss of frustration as he finally tugged his weapon free.

Rin charged right back in before her opponent had to opportunity to ready themselves. She saw your tit and traded you one tat in the form of running, jumping, and then crashing down over the top of Roland's head with a sheer wall of teeth rattling, bone crumbling force - all backing a large glowing and somewhat pissed axe and its hunter (who was even more pissed).

The world exploded into colors and sounds. The rain was too loud on his flesh, his heart beat was thundering like drums in his head, Sylvia's song was stopped in startled yelp of shock as the weapon quickly put up a defense against the surely fatal blow.
He was in the sand, clumps of the wet salt stuck in his hair and face as he stood up reeling backwards hands on his scythe as he tried to make a slash at the three Rin's standing in front of him and barely hitting the real one in the process.

Rin took her hit in stride. She had to keep going. She had to strike again while the iron was hot. Hit again while the other was trying to recover. She ran past, lashing out with Byr as she darted by. Striking him against Ro's side.
