It wasn't as though he didn't have enough of the Aiskala Orbs to add to his collection but the Diabi was tired of sitting still! He wanted to to hunt, damn it! He wasn't going to rush Tallulah, the Merkein was working on what he was doing to the best of his ability, but the Diabi just couldn't wait! He was more then certain it was partially to do with the Blood Moon's effect, it was putting him in a bit of a frenzy, making him want to fight, fight, fight, and at this point he no longer saw a reason why he shouldn't do just that. He would go out, he would hunt, he would fight, and he would kill! It wasn't just the orb that he was after right now but he was also after the run that went along with such things. He wanted to get out there, hunt himself down a dragon, make a meal of it, and just revele in the hunt. It was something that he should try to hold off on, wait until he found something stronger and more intimidating to fight but... what the Hell. He was here, the Aiskala were here, and he might as well indulge his blood lust at what targets he did have.
The Diabi was all too happy to charge ahead through the snow toward the first dragon he spotted, diving on it the moment that he got close enough, fighting without abandon. The way he saw it if he got hurt then he had Tallulah there to help to patch him up. He was a good, strong, and magically inclined ally, one that he more then happy to have around in this sort of situation. The battle was one that didn't last nearly long enough for Eyphah but at least in the end he got some meat, a glittering orb, and it had helped to cut down a bit on the blood lust that was surging through him which was a bonus. It was still there and very present but venting had seemed to help. Purring all the while the Diabi speared the Aiskala meat with his tail barb, scooped up the orb in his mouth, and went trotting back to where the Merkein was waiting for him so that he could beg healing off of his friend.
