It had been far too long since she’d been on the battlefield, far too long since she’d even laid eyes on a dragon. Daesat had kept her busy with learning and observing, she didn’t even let her go out to kill dragons. Childs play se called it, and when Xenosa would be ready to be out killing dragons again, Dae would allow her to go. But she’d grown quite a bit in her years with Dae, learning to be stealthy and even shedding her old clothing to new ones which were far more purposeful than the others hand been. As a teenager, she was regal and quite deadly.
When Daesat allowed Xenosa to be out and about once more, she sent her to kill an Ayrala dragon. The pesky dragons that had escaped her at every turn when she’d tried to kill one. Though now she had weapons and skills and she was determined to kill one! She took her time to find the dragons, and not once was she caught when she stalked them. If she got too giddy though, she might miss her chance so Xenosa settled down and waited for the perfect opportunity.
It came in the form of one of the dragons settling down below the tree she was currently using to observe the group. A light step off the branch and Xenosa was flying down towards the dragon, daggers out poised and ready. Both daggers sank into the dragons neck, it screamed in pain, trying to take off and get Xenosa off her back but all in vain. The Orderite had taken out another set of daggers to plunge into the neck muscles once more. With one final cry of despair, the Ayrala died, offering left behind in the form of an orb. Xenosa picked it up and through the other watching Ayralas a sinister smile, I’m coming for you it said.
