Amarus was tapping her fingers in order across the surface of the water at one of the larger Maul fountains. She was here to meet Raleigh, and she had a table on four boards with wheels with her. It was not an unusual activity for the ghoul, or at least it didn't seem to be. The table was their diamond table and someone (maybe Amarus) had scratched a pattern into the surface of the table, painted it purple, and then covered it with a pane of glass. It glittered, as if she had made it look like diamonds itself, but really it was something she'd found at The Collection and thought was kind of awesome.
She wasn't the type to have a lot of trinkets, but she really liked their club table, and it was on wheels because well who would carry a table across campus and into the maul, how weird.
Rolling it around was totally normal.
She was fairly pumped about the whole thing, and couldn't wait to get Raleigh his screamccino so they could go for a walk back to campus, talking about plans. She loved plans.
She suddenly wished she could tell Enzo what she'd been up to. It wasn't related to business, though.. would he even want to know what she was doing in her spare time? She shrugged one shoulder and pushed those thoughts to the side easily, as though parting a veil of water with her hand, reaching into the very real fountain in front of her as she did so. "Forget that," she mumbled to herself, and did just that.

Raleigh had left the academy after his classes were wrapped up for the day. He had left the jacket on since he was quite cozy. He gave a light yawn as he walked to the maul. He looked around the entrance, but no sign of Amarus. "Hm..." He said then walked into the maul. He looked around to spot the lotus eater ghoul, but it seemed busier than usual today at the maul. Raleigh's ears perked up when he spotted her at the fountain. "Hey!" He called out with a wave to see if she would notice him. He walked over until he was close enough to see the table. He raised an eyebrow at to why she would have taken it from the school all the way to the maul. "Ready for that screamaccino and some spookies?" He asked politely since he hadn't really gone to the maul with any, but himself.

Amarus was not, in fact, where she'd said she would be-- this was not unusual, Amarus often wandered off. She was usually nearby, at least, and easy to spot: the glowing aura and her bells made it very easy to find her unless she was trying not to be noticed. Amarus almost never put thought into wanting to be stealthy; it just didn't occur to her. It was all whatever to her.
Amarus heard a familiar voice and tilted her face towards where she thought it had come from, listening. She had shut her eyes, at some point, and opened them to see Raleigh waving. And raising an eyebrow.
"Sure, to both of those things, though ah I usually only make spookies I have made myself-- I do not much care for sweet things, but the ones which I have made are worth it," she said, a slow smile tilting the corner of her mouth. She took hold of the rope that was attached to the table.
"Shall we?" she asked, taking a few steps forward before she realized she had no idea where she was going.
And also that it would be a lot of fun to ride on the wheel table. "...if I get enough momentum on this-- if we both push it really hard and then jump on, I bet we could ride it through the maul," she said.
She wasn't kidding. Her eyes gleamed with the feverish joy she felt when she was scheming.

"Then how about just a screamaccino? My treat!" Raleigh said as he got close enough to hear Amarus talk about how she could make spookies. He did enjoy spookies with his drink. "After you, my ghoul." He chuckled lightly as he followed next to her. He pointed towards the way they should go for their drink. "That does sound like fun, you up for it?" Raleigh asked as he looked at the table then back at her. He was up for something different. Maybe they could make it an event or something like that. "You want to take turns or do it together?" He offered since he'd like to push her first.

"If you are offering, sure," she agreed, reaching out to clasp Raleigh's upper arm and squeeze as if saying thanks wordlessly. She was glad when he pointed, because she had no clue which direction it was in. She really never drank coffee, and had no use for it, though perhaps the caffeine would delay her natural impulse to pass out all the time.
"Of course I am up for it!" she said, shocked and maybe in her own way even a little offended. "Are you challenging me!?" She had meant it to be a group activity, but now she was pretty sure she'd race him to it. "I wanted to do it together, but now I think I'm going to beat you to it, and you'll just have to catch up while I go mad with power." She started to push the table as fast as she could.
[[OOC: Wanna play a game?! Let's have a table-contest! Roll 2d10, whoever got the higher score on the first die roll managed to push the table to running speeds first! If the 2nd die was an even number, that person successfully mounted the table and now the other person has to race to catch up e ue Let's say we do this once for every corridor we have to go down to get coffee, you can choose how many-- MINIMUM OF 2, OK <3]]

"And what if i am?" Raleigh said jokingly as he was always up for a good challenge. He wanted to see just how strong she really was. He stretched out his neck as he watched Amarus go first into pushing the table. He smiled wildly. "I'll show you my power, but beware of my antlers." He said calmly.
He charged towards the table then pushed it with all his might. It sped up quickly until he grabbed onto the edge, jumping on top with grace and ease. "Beat that!" He called out teasingly.

"It is because you have hooves," Amarus said, her mouth twisting into a grimace before it broke back into a smile and she chased him down. It made absolutely no sense, what she'd said, and not even she thought it made sense. She was just making up reasons to assuage her pride. Sure, she may not have pushed the table fast enough, but she was certainly fast enough to catch up to it.
"You'll have to get off to change its direction eventually," she added, attempting to sneak in and grab control of the diamond table from Raleigh when he inevitably had to dismount and change the table's trajectory, or risk smashing into the wall.

Raleigh couldn't help, but laugh at her comment about his hooves. "Then I'll push you after I move the table!" He said as he moved the table so it wouldn't crash into a wall or into anything else. " We're almost there!" He called out as he mounted the table at a decent speed. He practically surfed on it until he got to the cafe in the maul.
Raleigh hopped off and stopped it at an empty table close by. "Looks like I won this round, but I'm still buying you that screamaccino I promised you." He said as he gave her a light punch on the arm. He smiled lightly since it was a lot of fun and hopes to do it again one day. "I heard there's a school festival going on soon. Is our club going to be there?" He asked as he offered her a seat as he went to the counter to order their drinks.
He brought back 2 screamaccinos and a little bag of spookies. "Has anyone else joined our club yet?" He asked as he set the drink down infront of her then sat down next to her.

Amarus, in her own way, was probably sulking. She really hated losing, and wasn't often very graceful about it. Unless she deserved it, at which point she took it as a lesson to improve-- regardless, this time, she was happy to play a game with Raleigh and even though she had lost she really had been pleased with how quickly he took to the game.
And that he didn't try to stop her. She hated interference-- how dull, after all.
"We will have a rematch, and I will have mastered the art of table-surfing. That is all," she replied, before smiling back and returning his punch. "Yes, though I am not sure how much I can get done on time... this organization thing is new to me, admittedly," she said.
"We have four members, including you and I, now. Siku and Rosy are the others; Siku is a good friend of mine, while Rosy... seemed familiar, I do not know."
Frezir Timelines: I can't freaking remember where this was at in it, so WOOOO CARTE BLANCHE orz Also goodness I suck, an entire month to tag. I guess that'd be because I was sick a lot, + freaking trying to do ghost dorm stuff plus aegis booth. Too bad I only got Aegis done in time for like one week, lol. *sob*

"I'm sure you'll get it done in time. Besides you have me to help as well." Raleigh said with a light chuckle as he gave him a punch back. He laughe a little when she said that there were more members in the group now. "That's great! More the merrier. I shall have to meet them sometime." He added before taking a sip of his screamaccino. "Now back to business. How are we going to approach on advertising our club to other students?" Raleigh questioned as he tried to think of a few ideas that could help with getting more members. " How about a one time free card for those with simple requests? If they like it enough then they'll definitely come back for more." He suggested.
