¤ Ninjutsu: Takezo meets the standards for Ninjutsu, but can't do anything special. Sexy jutsu was taught to him by his Sensei.


¤ Taijutsu: Knows Mid-level gentle fist style. He uses the transplanted eye mostly for throwing senbon/ analyzing evidence. Plus, a few unorthodox techniques learned form his Sensei.


¤ Genjutsu: His specialty. Since he hails form the Kurama clan, he is a natural user, and utilizes it to wear down and manipulate his targets. Fortunately, he does not have the separate personality that curses the clan.


¤ Other:
Possesses a single Byakugan, a dōjutsu kekkei genkai which granted him near-360° vision, along with x-ray vision, and the ability to see chakra networks. The Byakugan however, does have a small blind spot located at the third upper thoracic vertebrae — a weakness of which Takezo is aware of.

History:


Takezo Kurama was born into the once prominent Kurama clan. Their kekki genkai is famous for allowing them an extreme genjutusu ability, of which he was not exempt. The few remaining members of his clan gave him a close sense of family however, Takezo believed that he was bound to be judged under the shadow cast by the reveal of the Iduo within his family.This was until, he met Hiro Hyuga at the Konohagakure Shinobi Academy. Hiro was friendly, which is a rare trait within the Hyuga clan. Though he was born into the branched family, Hiro never succumbed to believe that his destiny was decided at birth. He tutored Takezo in his weakest field, taijutusu. Takezo was encouraged by Hiro's determination and, in return for his tutoring he helped him with genjutusu, in which he was failing. The Byakugan of the Hyuga can not pierce genjutsu, and Hiro utilized it within each of his endeavors. Hiro taught Takezo to use a taijutusu technique that used less bodily strain, while remaining effective. Though based ofhe Gentle Fist style, this version remains beneath the original, having less power without the Byakugan. It was in this shared training, that Hiro gave Takezo the nickname, "Taki" to lighten his spirit. Their friendship allowed Takezo to open up and be energetic, to the extent that they became known for their mischievous nature. It was sheer luck they were placed on the same team after graduation. With a sensei like Konohamaru, they quickly learned rather unorthodox jutsus.


Though being best friends, and team mates the Hyuga clan disapproved of their closeness. The inability to pierce genjutsu concerned the Hyuga, if the two were to brake apart the Iduo may be used against them. Despite this, the two maintained their friendship. The Chunin exams, resulted in success for the both of them and the several missions that followed quickly gave the reputation of their combined specialties. Soon after they advanced to Jonin, the option to join ANBU was presented to them. Hiro's bind to his clan moved him to join, so that he may forge his own path, even at the price of sacrificing his identity. His abilities quickly brought him to become a Hunter-nin. Takezo agreed to join ANBU as well, but because of their duties they were separated for the first time. Keeping their bond, each marked his mask with the symbol of the other's clan.


Time passed with them apart, until they joined together for a mission Takezo never will forget. It is recorded that Hiro requested his friend to assist with eliminating a missing-nin who specialized in genjutsu. Splitting the squad into groups, they spread across in search. It is known that Takezo and Hiro encountered their target and that, in the battle, it is reported that Takezo lost his right eye. What occurred after is unconfirmed, though it is known that Hiro was killed. Before he died, he had his right Byakugan transplanted into Takezo. The details of the mission still remain uncertain, to ANBU. Soon after the mission, Takezo applied to become a hunter-nin and was quickly accepted into the position.


Personality:


Takezo has an unusually laid back attitude, despite his occupation. He often takes time off in the local saunas and tea houses of Konohagkure. To ANBU's surprise, he is able to participate in these public venues without revealing any clues to his occupation. Such is his skill that he is permitted to attend public affairs without his mask, but is required to disguise his right eye to match the other. However, while on duty he follows protocol ( to an extent). To his delight, he enjoys playing pranks to lighten situations, and practices his Kabuki skills to tease friends. During sparing, the unorthodox techniques he learned for his sensei, Konohamaru, are employed and provide much enjoyment to him.
