"Dia de los Muertos"

This year, both auctions include a slow-grow pet. Slow-grow pets grow no faster than ordinary growing pets offered by Dream Dancers, and only grow when their owner(s) ask. Please keep this in mind.

Our first auction duo is by elfstar89, and is honor of Dia de los Muertos and the day before, Dia de los Inocentes, the day in honor of children and infants who have passed away over the past year. Quite the lively festival that originated with the Aztecs of Mexico. The bones they wear are armor of sorts, and they are decked out in marigolds, gold, and precious stones. The relationship between the two is NOT set in stone; siblings, mother son? You decide the relationship between these brilliant pair! Do you dare to bid for this fearsome and beautiful duo?

"The Flood"

The second auction is by Geyser Eelborn for a trio of stars. First and foremost are a pair of mares representing the goddesses Hathor and Sekhmet. The exact mythological relationship between the two is contentious at best...sisters? Alter-egos? Split personalities? It's hard to tell. But the biggest myth the pair are involved in is a flood story in which Sekhmet goes psycho and then gets really schnockered, turning her back into Hathor. The annual flood coincided with the festivals that honored the dead, adding "drinking" to the list of ancestor-honoring activities.

The yearling represents Ihy, Hathor's son and the god of music. He's the son of one of the mares--whose is up to you. Heck, let's throw in a bidding ladder. If the auction gets to 4mil, we'll throw in a pet based on Nefertem, Sekhmet's son. If the bidding gets up to 15 mil, we'll throw in pets based on Ihy and Nefertem's fathers, Horus and Ptah (yes, both of them. Heck, why not, you are spending a lot of gold, after all!).

- Starting bid is at 100k.
- Lowest bid increments is at 1k.
- Trade goes to Dream Dancers if you should win.
- No bids until the Auction has started.
- Co-bidding is encouraged, as there are two pets.
- You may only own one, not both.
- You CANNOT bid if you have already won an Auction Pet!
