Azi glance towards the clock as she wipes the sweat from her brow. She figured if she stayed a couple more hours, she be able to make up the practice she missed having to stay after for her Calculus class. Shutting her locker, she rubs at her wrist for a moment, wishing the pain would go away just for a bit. The joys of having brothers that were assholes to her.
She often ended up fighting with the twins, and nine out of ten broke Oza nose this time. But now her wrist was bugging her, and she was having a hard time keeping focused.
With a sigh, she moves over to the sink and turns the cold water on until she was sure it was freezing. Slipping her wrist under it, she leans against the mirror as she hopes this would dull the pain for a bit.Asahi Kumoru What better way to meet, then to have an injured player? >.>

Nisha emerged from one of the bathroom stalls with a bag slung over her shoulder that tried to get her caught in the doorway, but a quick kick from a heeled boot got the offending stall door out of the way in time. She hummed to herself along to music piped through a pair of earbuds as she pumped a pile of foaming hand soap into one palm, then turned on the water to wash her hands. Violet eyes strayed to the other girl's troublingly also-purple wrist at the next sink over, though, and the humming grew more quiet. Finally, her hands washed, Nisha turned off the water and flicked water from her fingers into the sink, then reached up to tug one earbud out of her ear.
"Hey, not to be all minding your s**t, but you have seen a doctor about your wrist, right?"

Azi's gray eyes turn toward the other girl for a moment, a small frown forming before she shakes her head "No, didn't really have a chance. Its nothing serious though, just minor bruising I can deal with." she pulls her hand out from under the water, trying to not wince out loud as she move its a little.
It was a bruise that was all, it couldn't be anything worse.
She couldn't afford it to be anything worse. Turning towards the girl, she eyes her for a moment "So not to be in your s**t, but you new or something? I don't think I have ever seen you in the locker room before." she thought she knew most o the girls who played sports for the campus, so the girl had her vaguely curious.

"I was out here to oversee a rehab session for one of the football guys and I had to pee," Nisha replied, rubbing one arm across her forehead quickly before turning to get some paper towels to dry her hands. "Poor guy was only going to be a freshman, and he hurt his ACL during practice in camp over the summer." She raised her voice slightly to talk over the rustle of paper towel while she dried her hands. "I'm not in charge of his regimen, but I'm coming along while he works through the rehab exercises so I can learn what to look for."
Then, after tossing the wad of paper towel, she turned back to the other girl. "You look familiar, like I've seen your picture in a program somewhere." Nisha canted her head slightly, frowning for a second before taking a stab at sport: "Field hockey?"

Azi nods at her explanation before she gives her a nod. It made sense now as to why she didn't see her around in the locker room. Moving her wrist, she actually wince before she place it back under the cold water again "No, but you probably seen be in a baseball uniform. I play for the baseball team here on campus." she turns her head a little as she glance towards the actually locker room, hearing voices for a brief moment.
"So you into sport medicine I take it? That about the only reason they allow someone to shadow on a football field." she holds her other hand towards the girl "Aziza Jones, but everyone calls me Azi."

"Baseball, right, sorry." She conceded, "I really should remember better. Department's just had me working mostly with the football guys so far, which is great 'cause god knows their knees need it, but the ladies' sports need their fair share of attention, too." She shifted the weight of her bag on her shoulder and grinned at the other girl. "And obligatory kudos for being a badass sportswoman."
Nisha stepped closer, and asked, "Seriously, though, do you mind if I take a look at that?" She held her hands up, palms up, to take the other girl's hand if she accepted the offer. "It would suck if you ******** it up worse and had to quit playing, is all."

Azi gives a small glare towards the girl before she slowly lifts her wrist up. It was either let her check it out, or deal with her coach. With her other hand, she push her bangs from her face as she gives a rather weak laugh "I promise, its nothing. Just some bruising is all." the inside of her wrist was indeed bruising rather quickly, as well as swollen.
"Thanks on the kudos, its always been a major passion of mine since I was a child. Not as big as my passion for cars, but it keeps me from doing anything illegal." hell her man was also on the baseball team, so she got to watch him in tight pants.
What not to like?

"Oh, cool, you're into cars?" Something Nisha had wished she had been able to claim, herself, but she had lacked a teacher on that front. "I know that some of them look really ******** awesome from pictures."
With care and gingerness that did not match her language, she took the other girl's hand, and studied the bruising. "When did you do this?" she asked. "And how? Did you get hit by a pitch or something?" Violet eyes glanced up briefly at Aziza's face, and asked for sake of bedside manor, "Have you got a cool car? What do you drive?"

Azi's eyes shifted a little as she gives a small shrug "I have twin older brothers...who are a*****e. Let's just leave it at that." she didn't really want get into it and explain that she was always getting into fights with the twins some one reason or another. It was just alot easier not to talk about her broken family, and enjoy her life at the university.
Trying not to wince, she carefully pulls her hand free.
A small smile forms across her lips as she chuckles "Cars, bikes, motocross bikes, skateboarding. Like it all really, anything that means being outside, getting dirty is fun for me." she paused as she glance towards Nisha "I'm building a car at my brother's bike shop. Working on the engine at the moment. Still trying to find the perfect frame." oneironym Hey hun, did you want to continue this rp?

"Building a car?" Nisha repeated, clearly impressed. "That's pretty sweet. I can jump a battery if I need to, but I'm no mechanic." Then she laughed a little, flicking her braid back over her shoulder. "And I just drive an old Chevy that I got from my parents."
A wistful sigh. "I figure after I graduate and pay off my debts, I'll be able to get a better ride. Get wildly rich wrapping up football guys' knees and all."
Then she frowned slightly, giving Azi a sidelong glance. "You didn't hurt your wrist while you were building your car, did you? Looks like you should probably at least put some ice on it, if not go to a real doctor, just sayin'."Pixie Krysta Ordreg (( aahhh sorry I am terrible. I got superbusy this semester and it's taken me a while to get back into things ))
