Persephone liked playgrounds well enough as a civilian, but as a Senshi, they were just so much more fun. The monkey bars especially. It was too bad there wasn't more room on them, because she could perform some seriously cool swings between bars with her enhanced strength.
And taking a fun break from patrol, which had gotten way too stressful lately, was always a good thing. Plus, maybe she'd run into someone here!

Aludra visited the park most days. It was her chosen area, a place she had sworn to protect with her super magical girl life, and more importantly, it also had a really good playground and sometimes the ice cream van turned up on hot days. She was not surprised to find a Senshi already there (it wasn't the first time), but she was definitely pleased. A good leap and a neat landing saw her on top of the nearby slide, watching the older girl enjoy herself. "Hi there!" She called with an excited wave.

Persephone sensed the approach of the chibi before she saw or heard her, so she was ready with a bright smile when the girl addressed hr from the slide.
"Hey!" She said, releasing her grip and dropping to the ground. "This your patrol route?" She asked, avoiding talking down to the kid as best she could. She wouldn't get anywhere if she was condescending, she was sure. "I'm Sailor Persephone," she introduced herself.

Aludra jumped to the ground in front of the Senshi and lifted her skirts in a polite curtsy. "It is..." She looked around proudly. "And around the streets near here. Sometimes I go to the school as well." Lately she hadn't been out venturing far from her known safety zones. The last meeting with a youma had been a worry. "I'm Sailor Aludra. It's nice to meet you."

Persephone curtsied back, stifling a giggle. That always felt so very fancy.
"Everything alright here tonight?" She asked. She couldn't help but worry for the chibis. After all, her youngest sister wasn't much older than them; it was easy to see them all as more little sisters and brothers to love and protect. "Do you patrol with anyone, or on your own?"

"No trouble yet, but it’s usually pretty quiet." Aludra would be the first to announce how capable she was and how she was a natural at all this senshi stuff, but the truth was, she really didn't know what she was doing. It was only on very rare nights that she let herself worry about what she would do if she got in any real trouble. "On my own. Sometimes I help other Senshi out if they’re in the area… do you know Celemorrow? He’s really nice."

Persephone shook her head. "I don't, no," she said. The name was totally unfamiliar, but if he was helping out a chibi, he couldn't be too bad. She filed the name away for later, to see if she could find him somewhere and thank him for his kindness. It was always good to think of someone keeping the younger ones safe.
"So I guess you go to school around here, huh?"

"Oh well." Aludra brushed her hair back and nodded. "Yep, Knightside Elementary." The young girl had been studying Persephone closely, admiring both her hair and style. "What are you the Senshi of? Can I ask that? Um, I’m the Senshi of Pathways."

Persephone smiled. "Ah, I see. Well, always good to protect the places we call home!" Even if she ventured all over the city, and touched everywhere, because everywhere needed help.
"I'm the Senshi of Pomegranates!" She said, "which is a lot less cool than it probably sounds because unfortunately I don't get fun exploding fruit or anything."

She was, she would admit, slightly disappointed Persephone’s power didn't involve exploding fruit, but pomegranates were great. They were maybe her fourth favourite fruit. "I bet you’re pretty tough even without exploding pomegranates." She said with a smile.

Persephone laughed and shook her head. "Not on my own, but it's sweet of you to say." She said, reaching up to twist some hair aorund her index finger. "Hey, do you have anyone you patrol with?"

Aludra could understand that. So far she'd learnt her abilities were hardly adequate for lone bad guy take-downs. "Well," Aludra chewed on her lip, "no." She looked up at Persephone hopefully, trying not to appear too eager and failing. "Would you like to patrol with me? It gets lonely sometimes..."

Persephone flashed Aludra a smile. "Actually, I've been thinking about forming a team. Pulling people together so we can support each other..." And so she would stop feeling so lost and alone, herself. Maybe if she had other people in the White Moon supporting her, Chaos would stop looking so damned attractive.

Aludra nearly squealed with excitement. With some effort she held it back and instead gave a pleased squeak from between her fingers. This was perfect. A team was a brilliant idea! She would have senshi friends and lots of people to work with. There would be nothing to worry about anymore. She was surprised she hadn’t thought of it herself. "Would you let me join? I promise I’ll be useful!"

Persephone laughed. "Oh, absolutely! I'd love to have you join, I wouldn't have mentioned it if not!" She especially wanted to have chibis on her team, because as far as she concerned, they needed people with them even more than adults.Ruriska FRICK I totally lost this I am so so so sorry! D:
