A solitary figure lurked in one of Destiny City's playgrounds. A sliver of moonlight slipped from behind the night-time clouds to momentarily reveal Sailor Celemorrow's face. He had been lying in ambush for a drug dealer he knew frequented the location. The drug dealer had yet to show up, however, and the black-clad senshi wondered if it would be better to come another night.

Of all the things Alexandria had thought he would turn out to be in life, a magical, knightly soldier was somewhere down at the bottom of the list under Gigolo. Of course, there had been that odd, feverishly weird period a couple of years ago when he'd turned into a cat... but he still wasn't entirely convinced that it had been real.

This though, this was real. Frighteningly so. But under that fear was an odd sort of elation. He was going to be a hero. Just like his favorite DnD character. He was going to help people. That and that alone was what had drawn him out of his apartment tonight. The chance to do something good.

On a whim he'd headed for one of the city's various playgrounds. He didn't really expect much to happen. If he was lucky, he'd run into a lost pet and be able to return it. That would be nice.

Celemorrow squinted as a figure moved into view. Could that be the man he was waiting for? An annoying buzzing in his mind suggested otherwise. It was like that feeling he had when he first met a Page.

The thought left a sour taste in his mouth. This may not be the drug dealer he was hoping for, but this was just as good. Silently he charged, fist raised and ready to strike.

Years of being a shut-in had not been kind of Alexandria in terms of general shape. Oh, he wasn't overweight. He ate right and jogged about once a week. But the fact remained that he was still soft and his reflexes were slow.

He noticed the charging figure when it was nearly atop him and gave a small, startled yelp and stumbled backwards catching the fist in his shoulder. As he fell, he was already beginning to bluster.

"Hey, wait, OUCH! Truce, truce! Holy s**t, truce!"

Sailor Celemorrow carried a special hate in his heart just for the Knight faction and was not particularly inclined to ease up on his assault just because of a little blubbering. However, he was curious what this page could offer.

"I will not agree to a truce without hearing your terms first."

He backed up, slipping off his hat for easy access to his mirror shard, should he need it.

"You have two minutes to give me a good reason why I shouldn't rid the Earth of you."

Give him a good reason? What the hell was even the ********? Still, the guy had asked for a reason, so Alexandria allowed several reasons to pour forth from his lips.

"Well, for one, I didn't do anything to you personally. Or at least I don't think I have. Dude, I just came out here to try and do a little good. You know, looking for lost pets and possessions to give back to the people who lost them. I just want to help people if I have to be some weird, magical person. I don't fight people outside of game night and even then, that's more mental, y'know?"

Sensing that his two minutes were quickly running out, he got carefully to his feet and nervously ran his fingers over the small silver key they held.

"Look this is maybe my second night out and all I've had as far as explanations go is a lot of garbled s**t I don't understand. You're the first magic person I've encountered since this started and I don't even get why you seem to hate me."

This last was said in a rather forlorn voice. Alexandria knew he wasn't a people person in the least. The fact that he'd been able to attempt pleading for his life without stammering was, he thought, the least his anti-social brain could do for him.

"It's not like I was exactly given a choice in this magic s**t, you know."

Novelty and ignorance wasn't a good excuse in Celemorrow's eyes, but he noticed a potential note of non-commitment.

"You didn't choose to transform and 'patrol' tonight? You didn't choose to ally yourself with kidnappers and murderers?"

Perhaps what he had been told about the Knights was a bit untruthful, but he had no reason to doubt it. It sounded right, anyway - what with the White Moon agents being brainwashed and all.

"If you want a truce, you'll have to promise me something more than just being new and stupid."

Oh this was just getting stupid. Alexandria closed his eyes for a moment, trying to keep from saying anything too inflamatory.

"Look, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. What the hell is this s**t about kidnappers and murderers?"

Okay, so much for neutrality. Perhaps for the first time in his life, Alexandria felt a desire to punch someone's nose in. Maybe it was the dark, oddly flickering aura grating on his nerves. Or maybe it was having someone who'd only a moment ago had asked him to give a reason as to why he shouldn't be murdered in the streets suddenly taking a high road and accusing Alexandria of being pals with unsavory types.

Drawing himself up to his full, beanpole height, Alexandria's face became serious as he spoke in quietly earnest voice.

"I choose to ally myself with Order. With those who go out to help and protect innocents. You don't strike me as that type."

Then, with a strange, mocking little smile, he bowed slightly to the other.

"I don't have to promise you a damned thing."

So that's the way it was going to be then? So be it. Sailor Celemorrow pulled his mirror shard from within his hat.

"You have chosen a lie."

As he called forth the wraith which resided in the reflective surface, he noticed a glint from Alexandria's key. He would have to watch out for that.

"So does everyone at some point. 's Human Nature," Alexandria replied with an expression on his face that was either a smile or a grimace. This was going to be ugly, he just knew it.

Quickly tucking his key into his belt, he backed up and managed to stumble a little, falling on his a** again. Oh yeah, he thought. That was going to keep him alive. Except as he scrabbled to his feet, his hand found a small rock and he brought it up with him.

"So what lies have you chosen?" he asked.

And then he threw the rock. At this point, as long as it connected, he didn't think he really cared where. Head, face or the hand holding the whatever-it-was. Just let it connect, he prayed as he dove a little to the side, frantically searching for more rocks.

Sailor Celemorrow sent his mirror wraith to assault the page, refusing to respond to the query presented him. It was an asinine question, he felt, and not worth the recognition.

As he watched his wraith scream towards his opponent, however, he felt a sudden pang of pain in his shoulder, causing him to drop his mirror shard in the grass. Rocks? Rocks?! Fine, then. Stooping down, Celemorrow felt around for his mirror shard as well as any rocks he could find.

Okay, shoulder, he could work with a shoulder hit. Frantically, Alexandria found a couple more rocks and slung them with questionable accuracy. If he wanted to get out of here, he was going to actually have to try and fight. Oh, this was not going to be good at all...

With a deep breath, he threw himself at the stooping boy. If I can knock him over, he thought. Please just let me get out of this mess alive.

One of the rocks snagged and tore Celemorrow's billowy sleeve as he found his mirror shard. The second rock struck his hand, causing him to suck his teeth in pain.

The wraith turned around as Alexandria passed it and assaulted the page from behind, hungry for the powerful energy within the boy.

As the page charged him, Celemorrow grabbed the shard with his good hand and swiped at the boy.

Not good. Not good. Notgoodnotgoodnotgood! Alexandria scuttled backwards as the shard sliced into his chest, cutting the shirt and leaving a trail of hot pain. And... was he gradually getting weaker? He couldn't be sure, but he didn't like the gentle lethargy that was beginning to creep through his limbs.

Yep, no question about it. He made a Big Mistake the day he plucked the tiny silver key out of the air when it appeared in front of him. There was no help for it he was actually going to have to do more than throw a rock. Biting his lower lip hard enough to draw blood, Alexandria sucked in a gulp of air, hunched forward and bulled into the strange boy, aiming his shoulder for the soft flesh of the stomach. It was a dirty tactic, but hey. All was fair in love, war and keeping his a** from ending up murdered.

Standing up as his opponent backed away, Celemorrow barely had a chance to gain his footing when Alexandria's shoulder dug into his stomach. The Dark Mirror senshi folded over on top of the Page, breathless. Everything hurt. Everything hurt and it was all this worthless Page's fault.

One hand was full, the other hand still stung and his entire body ached. All Celemorrow could think to do was to wrap his arms around Alexandria's waist and fall backwards.
