User Image Home was hectic. She had enough for the time being. Her family was visiting her parents, and that meant an assortment of "soul music" that wasn't always agreeable for the strange vixen. So, she had left, heading off to deities know where in an attempt to just escape the multitude of sounds that had found its way pounding into her brain. One sound was fine. Three was also fine. But seven? No. That wasn't quite what she needed today.

And so she walked. She wasn't sure where, she was primarily following the sound of the roses. Anything that lived made a song, and she was intent on diving into the roses tunes. Or follow, either word worked. Her own rose garden had already been tended to, and while she would normally be found resting amongst it she was also content just exploring. Maybe she'd pick up more seeds on her way back?

She wasn't too worried about becoming lost, she knew she would be able to find her way back according to the songs. It was relaxing, knowing you could go anywhere that had life and return home without worry. Maybe her ability was weird, but she found it comforting. It was all she knew, a world of music and life. She wouldn't want it any other way. She didn't want the reality most people had, one where apparently music did not escape life. One where people had to trust in lies and believe in words spoken by others. Often, words were false, but she had the security of the truth within the music. What was it like not knowing? What was it like living in a world where words meant everything?

She didn't want that reality. She loved her world. She loved just knowing. She loved the beautiful music people held within them. She didn't want this world where everything was a huge mystery behind it. It wasn't as safe as her existence.

Mm? Was that noise ahead? She heard a faint melody, one that seemed kind yet slightly rough, perhaps even deep, suggesting at a darkness that wasn't easily shown. A person? It sounded male, and perhaps another noodle. Should she stop? They didn't sound naturally hostile, yet she wasn't sure what would happen if she kept approaching. She didn't want to intrude, and while she only heard one melody she didn't know if they could be busy at the moment.

Hm, what to do?

A bladed tail flicked, then buried itself in the side of a tree. With a grunt it was pulled out and furry of fist found their target on pad that was tied to the same tree. The figured leaped back and held its ground, a heavy sigh deflated the figure slightly as the stance dropped.

Bandit did his training every morning. It helped relieve of the irritation he felt every morning for no reason. He retreated into the shade and fetched his bottle of water and happily drank the cool liquid. He continued to breath heavily as he recovered his breath, once he did he examined the damage to the tree. The gash in it wasn't as deep as he wanted to and made a mental not to strengthen the muscles in his tail.

He let out a sigh and pressed his back against the tree and slide down. He wiped his brow from the build up of sweat and closed his eyes. He would rest for a little, the figure out a different way of training. He was growing tired of fighting trees.

She had heard the movements of someone training, though she refrained from approaching for the time being. She was busy listening to the faint sound of the persons music, and how odd it was. She liked it, honestly, and was curious as to what the person looked like who bore it.

So, slowly, she walked forward, head dipping down to gaze through trees until she spotted a male settled against the ground. Should she bother him? No. She wasn't much of a talker, and she wasn't quite sure how to speak to this male. What would she even say? How did one start a conversation? Did she even want to? No. Not really. She just wanted to listen to his music, and that was it. It was a pretty sound, if odd, and she was currently content focusing on solely that. So, with an awkward twitch of her wings, the woman leaned against a tree and listened to his music quietly. She only hoped he didn't turn around and see her just.... staring.

Cooled off and able to move comfortably again, Bandit rose from his spot. He looked around and didn't notice anything. He let out a sigh and finished the water that he had. He rubbed the back of his neck, he had an unsettling feeling that he was being watched. He didn't feel like he was in danger, just, being watched. He ran fingers through his sweaty hair and fixed it. Why did he feel like this?

Wait.

How had Korbin not seen this? How had she not realized it was Bandit? How had she not seen that tail and realized it was him? What a fool she was! Even his music clearly screamed his name. The vixen shook her head, stepping closer and, suddenly, she moved quietly through the grass, dropping onto her knees behind him and resting her hands rapidly onto his shoulder.

"Boo." Wow. That had been so monotone, so lifeless, and so awkward that she almost shuddered. She was trying, okay? She was trying to be normal.... like her siblings. They were normal, right? Of course! Well, she hoped so, because she only had them, her parents, and her strange cousins for examples.

Bandit blinked as he felt weight on his shoulders. Then then voice of Korbin rang in his ear. Of course! Who else knew where he trained? He gently placed a hand over hers and let out a long peaceful sigh. He was always happier with her around. He carefully moved and offered her a seat next to him. He turned to her and gave her a warm, yet awkward smile. "I'm glad it was only you."

His touch caused her to freeze, hearing the sigh of relief and flicking one ear with curiosity. Pleased. He was pleased she was here. Accepting the offered seat, the woman flicked her tail around her form and toyed with it as she shifted to become comfortable. His smile flashed, and she blinked at him, as usual for the monotone like female. However, her wings fluttered rapidly, showing her own pleasure instead of any smile.

"Did you think I was someone else?" She questioned curiously, head tilting just a fraction to the side.

"At first I did. Though my senses told me that it was someone who meant me no harm. I figured it had to be you." Bandit reached over to pull a small sack closer to him and reached inside. He pulled out a box across a box of animal crackers. He had a feeling she would come see him, more like hoped, but he came prepared. "I brought these for you." He offered her the box of crackers. He know she liked them so he always had a box on him if he just so happen to find her.

Her hands extended, gripping the box of crackers gently and nodding towards the other ."Thank you." She quietly responded with, beginning to open the box. An ear flicked as she listened to the others "music", inwardly smiling at the familiar tone she had grown so accustomed and affectionate towards. Her hands opened the box, tilting the box and emptying a handful into her palm, extending it towards Bandit.

"Here." Her eyes clearly said she wouldn't take no for an answer, wings fluttering lazily against her back.

Bandit didn't have the heart to tell her he had another box in his bag. He smiled at her and graciously accepted the cookies. "Thank you, Korbin." He ate the cookies slowly and enjoyed the taste of the cookies and the company of Korbin. "What brings you here. Do you need me for something?" He knew she had a special trait to her. She could listens to another's 'song'. She was special, and he loved her.

She shook her head as she nibbled on a cracker, tail flicking side to side as she viewed the small snacks in her palm. Did she need a reason to be here? She, as she had many times, just followed that sweet tune she enjoyed.

"I just followed the music." She mused quietly, almost indifferently. Still, anyone who knew her would know it was special for Korbin to not only enjoy the music, but sit beside someone in complete peace. Her fingers tapped against one another before she flicked her eyes up to view the other, head tilting.

"Should I leave?"
