With school starting up again, there was a plethora of youngsters all over Destiny City during the waning hours of the day. Heading home, going about their way to after school activities while there was still light. Avior wondered if he would have been doing that as well if his parents had not forgotten about him. His sisters were enrolled at Crystal, and his little brother was at the elementary school. And He himself was left forgotten with no more than a little 'whoops'. So, free times consisted of him trying to find his own teachers for his arts, fishing, and at night, searching for more of the Dark Mirror Court.

And yet, this afternoon, he found himself hanging out at a park, where people were scarce, but with daylight still bright, there was no trouble. there was no problem being powered up here. It wasn't as if his outfit was ALL too out o place. He could just say he was dressed up as an Italian mason from years and years ago, for a cosplay or something. Then again, how many people were going to gaze up into the tree that he resided in.. Of Course, of someone else powered came along, they would know he was here..

For now, he kept watch of the children scurrying home over a small, but quite lovely bridge nearby. Each one he saw caused him to smile. That was the one wonderful thing about daylight. The entire world seemed so much safer.

Goretti had a great day at school.

Well, Orin had a great day at school. And then he'd powered up into Goretti and was going to make the best of the few hours he had before his dad got off of work and came home. He figured most youma came out when it was dark (and bad guys did, too!) but it didn't stop him from powering up now. Sure, people might see him if he wasn't careful—but it was safer, and he still got to feel like he was doing his senshi duty.

He'd found a good hiding spot and powered up—and immediately became aware of the tickly sensation of a good person nearby.

Stronger than him!

…Which wasn't really that hard, but it excited the boy anyway. He ran from his hiding spot and bolted around the park until he was practically standing on top of the auara.

…Except nobody was around.

The boy huffed indignantly and wanted to call out, though he didn't want to draw attention to himself. There were people he recognized out! What if one of them recognized him?

Fidgeting for a minute, Goretti planted his hands on his hips and then whispered as loudly as he could, "Helloooooo? Is anybody out there?"

Avior had felt the little aura daring around the area, and he smiled, knowing that something so small would have to be a chibi senshi. He loved the chibis, adorable little kiddlets they were! He had even met an eternal one, who was so much stronger than he was! But not this one, no, he was just a weak little thing..

How surprising it was to have the little one look for him, standing right below him looking so baffled! Did he really not look up? Avior couldn't help but watch him get frustrated looking for him, but when he was called out, he simply grinned, quietly responding to him.

"Hey there! I'm up in the tree!' He called out, hopping down to land not too far away from him, but not exactly behind.

"Are you out patrolling after school? Aren't you just one little bundle of dedication! I'm Super Sailor Avior, A Senshi of Walls! And you are?"

Goretti blinked, eyes immediately going to the male as he fell from the tree. He jumped back a foot or so, just instinct, and smiled as he glanced the male over. "Oh! There you are! What were you doing up there?"

Trees? He was going to have to give that one a try—see if he couldn’t surprise any youma the next time he saw one.

…Or he could just enjoy hanging out in a tree.

He seemed to forget his own question when presented with the opportunity to introduce himself; he jutted out a hand and grinned. "I'm Sailor Goretti. Chibi Senshi of Glue. And my dad's making tacos for dinner so I'm getting my patrolling for the day out of the way so I'm not late. It's good to meet you, Avior! Senshi of Walls sounds neat! And you seem strong, too! I bet I could learn a lot from you!"

"What was I doing up there? Well, It's the best way to keep safe watch over the park and not be spotted! It's not everyday someone just comes and looks for you up in a tree now, is it?"

The hand offered to him was immediately taken, given a firm squeeze and a little shake to go with it.

"Well, hello there little Goretti! Glue is alot more interesting than walls, if you ask me. I didn't even know glue had been around as long as walls had! Do you stick things together? Hrm.. I dunno what I'll have for dinner! Probably... I honestly don't know. Whatever happens to be left over, since I'm out a bit later than you are! But it must be quite awesome to be able to go home and eat a nice meal with your papa!" It would be quite something if his own family actually gathered around for a meal, but the last time that happened.. Well, it was probably Christmas dinner! But that was okay! The little kidlet's grin was just too wide and too adorable and warm and happy to even let the littlest of sad things penetrate his mind!

"I'm not the strongest I've ever met, but I do know a thing or two. What kinds of things were you thinking about learning? Fighting? Traveling? Awesome tree to tree hopping? That last one is awesome, and something not everyone can do. Have you ever met those really tall senshi? I'm not tall at all, so I can fit nicely in those trees, and you probably could too, maybe even better than me!"

Goretti couldn't help but laugh and shake his head. "Every senshi seems tall to me, so I'll tell you when I've met a really tall one when everyone's not already towering over me."

He scuffed at the ground thoughtfully, mulling over the options Avior had presented. "I think I'm pretty good with the whole tree thing—I can show you if you want," he promised, but that was something he could do in his own time. Right now, he had an opportunity to really talk about stuff. To really learn.

He was pretty good at travelling already; he could run long distances in a short amount of time, so he decided that was enough travelling for him. "I'd like to learn to fight a little better. I mean, if you have time. I don't like hurting people, but I don't mind smashing youmas! They're monsters, so I don't even feel bad for them."

Nasty, evil things that lived only to get in trouble and hurt others? Yeah, Goretti had no problem taking them on.

People were another story…

And he'd rather not hurt anyone if he didn't have to.

Of course, he didn't want to get killed, so he knew he had a lot to learn.

"Yes, I suppose you're right, forgive me, little prince." All of the chibis were little princes and princesses to him! Little fighting, precious little things! Certainly they could over power him, if they were truly motivated, but still, that urge, that need to keep the little ones safe was strong within him. If they wanted to fight, however, he was not going to stop them.

"I believe you, no worries at all! If you wish to know how to fight, I can teach you a few things. With my attacks, with summoning walls, there's a lot that goes with improvising, using your surroundings to your advantage, so it is important to know such things, even more so than simply moving fast, you know?" Avior nodded in agreement with the sentiment of not wanting to hurt people.. Yet at the same time..

"It maybe hard to realize, but there are those who want to hurt you out there, so even if you focus on only fighting monsters, it's important to know how to deal with other people as well. The scary thing about people, though, is that they think about it. They KNOW they want to hurt you, it's not just instinct, it's anger and hatred to at stems from miscommunication and misplaced faith in whoever they chose to serve. But enough about such things! How have you fought before?"

Goretti seemed reluctant to acknowledge that there might be real people out there that wanted to hurt him, but he nodded anyway. "I know," he said, though didn't sound confident. "I just…it's easier to attack monsters than people because the monsters are bad. There's nothing good about them. The people—people can be helped! Maybe if you could just talk to them or try to reason with them, things would be different. But it's not like that with the youma. So I'd rather fight youma than people. But—but I know…that I should at least know how to…"

He toed at the ground, aware that he hadn't exactly even answered Avior's question. He wasn't sure why he was so hesitant, but he imagined it had something to do with the fact that he didn't like fighting.

"So far," he said, sucking in a breath and then looking back up at Avior, "I've been doing okay fighting the youma. The worst thing that I got was some scraped knees because I fell—but that was because I was running too fast. When I'm Goretti and not—you know—me, I run so quickly that sometimes it's hard to keep up. I do a lot of kicking. I play soccer," he said, relaxing a bit more. His voice picked up speed and enthusiasm as he continued, "And my attack is really neat—it just spills a bunch of super strong glue on the floor so it sticks to their feet. You want me to show you? It won't get stuck or anything, it turns to dust at the end. But it's really cool!"

Damn.. He hadn't meant to make the kid upset! It just.. Well, he supposed such things, such topics weren't the easiest to think or talk about..

"Soccer, huh? I played a few times! It's fun, huh?" He couldn't help mention it a bit, hoping that such conversation could spawn more light-hearted conversation.

"I'd love to see it! And I can show you my attack too! Granted, it's more of a defensive thing, but I can use it to launch myself up into the air as well! It's rather cool!"

Goretti perked up immediately. "All right! Yeah, I'd love to see it! And we can practice fighting! Because," he cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck as though embarrassed. "Don't wanna go home in a cast! So—so, how do you wanna do this? You…you wanna just show me your attack first or do you wanna try some hand-to-hand combat stuff and surprise me with it, or…?"

He seemed a little nervous—but eager.

He was going to learn—and see senshi attacks!

And get stronger!

And it was going to be awesome!

"Okay, okay okay, I'll show you my attack first okay? Stand back a little!" He took a few step backs as well, making sure they were both out of the way, before he gave the ground a little punch, calling out his attack!

"Build that Wall!" And from the spot where he punch sprang.. Nothing. His wall could not be seen by the child, but he signaled for the little one to come a bit closer.

"Here, keep walking towards me, with your hand out! You can't see it, but there's a wall right there!"

Sailor Scout Attack: Build that Wall!
Avior calls out his attack while punching the ground before him and from there, a magical, invisible wall springs up before him, enchanted to be impossible to jump over. It is only 10 feet wide, blocking him from any frontal assault. The wall is only up for 10 seconds, from which Avior would have to hit the ground again to build it up.. For an equal level character, it could be nearly impenetrable, and the stronger the enemy, the quicker the wall comes down. A 4th level character could instantly smash the wall to bits, a 3rd level character in a few hits, and a 2nd after a good bashing, though it would probably just be easier to walk around the wall. This can be used three times a battle, though there is a 10 second cool down between each summoned wall.

Goretti drew a few steps backwards, wanting to make sure he was out of Avior's way. He watched with great interest as the male punched the ground and called his attack. For a few seconds, he waited, as if expecting something to happen…but nothing seemed to.

He didn't have the heart to tell Avior that he was worried his attack had failed, but he was immediately ready to reassure the senshi as, he'd had his own fair share of failed attacks.

"Well, okay," he replied hesitantly, worried he was going to let Avior down. He stuck out his hand but didn't walk as slow as he should have—which resulted in him surprising himself when he stubbed his finger against a clear wall. "Oh," he blurted, seeming particularly surprised. The emotion passed into joy and his gaze flickered up to the older senshi. "That is so neat! How far does it go? Can I climb over it?"

Almost immediately he was reaching as high as he could, trying to feel the top of the invisible wall; he jumped, though it wasn't nearly high enough.

What warmth it brought his heart to see the little one so excited! And it was kind of funny as well, watching him work so hard to make iit over the side of his wall. If only he could boost the child up, so that he could stand up on top of it, looking like he was floating in air.. Alas, his powers didn't work that way.

"Let's see... This one is only 10 feet wide, since it's my basic attack. My super attack is 15 feet wide! But you can't just climb over it! It's magically enchanted to be impossible to climb over! What's cool though, is that since it can't be jumped over, I can summon my wall under my feet, and it launches me straight up into the air!" Sometimes, it didn't quite hit him how amazing senshi really were. the powers they held were truly something else!.

"It'll disappear 10 seconds after I summon it, so it should be gone in a wee bit.. What about your attack? What does it do?"

Kyuseisha no Hikari

"Oh," Goretti said, seeming most interested; he listened to the description of the attack and waited, counting to ten seconds before he tried to tap on the wall again. His face lit up when he found nothing to beat upon. "That's so neat! How did you figure out the parameters for it? I haven't timed mine yet. Sometimes it doesn't work, but—but I'd love to show you! Just give me a second though, I have to warm up. Can we do a pretend battle?"

He seemed a little shy to ask. "Sometimes my attack doesn't work, but I think it helps if my blood is pumping and it feels like I'm in danger. We can play fight? I mean, I have to practice kicking people. You can kick back, but…can we do that for a minute until I'm ready to cast my attack?"

..Right now he just wanted to make sure that he didn't mess it up. Avior had been so casual about using his attack; Goretti was still struggling to figure out how to make his attack work every time he cast it.

"I dunno why your attack might fail sometimes.. I honestly can't say much about Chibis, or even other senshi, for that matter. I can only say stuff about my own attacks and how I learned. I found out what I know with alot of testing! Alot of just.. Playing around with it! It turns out that I can see it myself.. Think of it like a really really clean window. You can't tell it's there until you touch it or hit it or something, right? But I'm the one who cleaned that window, so I can see it. And I summoned it, and just watched. Then I did it again, and again, So I learned that I can only summon it three times. The next day, I summoned the wall, and started touching it, finding out just how big it is." Avior had never told anyone that much about his wall, but he just couldn't stop himself from enthusiastically reciting all of the information he had about his powers.

"Now.. For learning I can launch myself.. That was an accident. This giant youma was trying to get me, and I tripped right when it was there. It was so close, I could smell it's nasty breath! So I summoned my wall, to try to put it between me and the scary thing. But, apparently, my leg was in way of it, so when it went up, so did I, and the next thing I knew, I was soaring through the air." Seeming a bit embarrassed by that, he brushed his nose with the side of his hand, trying to hide the fact. But.. That was an interesting thought, the idea of them sparing.. He was afraid of hurting the other, but he couldn't have THAT much lack of self control to actually do anything that could do damage.

"Sure! Go ahead and attack me, and I'll block as naturally as possible. I'll try to make it as real as I can!"
