"Say, y'see that over there? I'll give ya five for it, final offer!"
Piper had found the saleshuman funny at first. Quirky, sure, but mostly funny in how often it--he?--wanted to sell her this and that. She still didn't understand the currency (Dollars? Cents? What??), but it was like watching a minipet talk: fascinating and hilarious and a little cute. For the first five minutes.
A day of it was kind of annoying.
It was to the point that the mage was now walking around with a finger jammed in her ear whatever side the humanbot was on, grinding her teeth as she sought for ways to get its count up already so she could turn it int and be that much closer to graduating. Or at least some silence. Eventually she was forced towards music to try and drown out the irritating thing's mechanical voice.
"Just give me a reason Just a little bit's enough-- ♪"
"That! That also costs ya five!" the 'bot interrupted, leading her to rumble discontentedly as she tried to take it for a walk outside. These things were like minipets, right . . . ?

Like Piper, Hayes seemed to be have a bot that just would not stop talking and about things that the boil just didn't understand. Why would anyone care about sweaters and how they were now mainstream? Hayes actually wore sweaters and found them to be quite comfy. So he was whatever this mainstream was? There was a slight crease between his eyes which was the only sign that he wasn't sure whether being mainstream was something he wanted to be or not. Then again, Hayes didn't seem to care all that much because he remained silent.
Just as the boil was about to lead the bot out of the gym and off to who knows where and more then likely leaving the bot behind because he'd already almost done so several times before, Hayes noticed Piper and for once the boil wagged his tail in joy. It took a second before Hayes and his Hipsterbot were near the ghoul who seemed like she also wasn't interested in what it was saying.
"Does yours talk a lot too?" Again, Hayes seemed to be making great strides because he'd actually started a conversation with another and even asked a question in which he cared about hearing a response to. Amityville might have been a great choice after all. Ol-j-man It's fine! And sorry if it's a bit awkward. Still trying to sort him out. XD

"By Shiva's third eye, yes," Piper replied without missing a beat, staring as her humanbot whirled with a mechanical squealed, even going so far as to hop in place before desperately wheeling behind the reaper.
"N-Nobody should sneak like that!" it hissed. Then it paused with what was (probably supposed to be) an appraising look at the two before leaning in towards her. "Hey, h-how's about I hook you up with one of them? Huh? That make everyone happy here? Got a special going today: twenty for the guy, twenty-five if you'll take the robot--and that's my final offer," it added emphatically, which would have had more impact if it hadn't said as much practically every "big deal" it offered. And if it hadn't still been quivering.
Piper rolled her eyes with a little smile, hands on her hips. "They're not so bad, although I guess I got a chicken, hah. What's yours like?" she asked, peering at the 'bot's funny glasses and . . . why was its pants leg up? What. She started snickering.
